  3. It certainly seems that as each day passing, more people are refusing to work no matter what incentives or pay schemes that they try to come up with and invoke.
    Besides politicians fines on businesses breaking any laws, rules or regulations.
    And they’re clueless as to why so many jobs available but no one is qualified with the education requirements.

    All these billions the government wants to spend meets the brick wall of self imposed supply shortages and workers revolt.

    1. This is bigger than it seems. Paying people not to work is very popular. There are many ‘little jobs’ available that pay cash, so the never-worker can collect entitlement. If you improve your relationship with your ‘social worker’ you can get access to additional entitlements. Free transit, special diet money, clothing, furniture. There are privileges on occasion: tickets to shows and events.

      And then there is the job market. Call it the ‘bottom half’, ‘entry level’, whatever. Working at a woke enterprise, and there are many in the bottom half, is an awful experience. One of my sources described it as ‘they were planning to fire me when they hired me’. If you are a sadist, and enjoy watching people suffer when you tell them they are ‘let go’, then setting up a high-turnover business is a good cope. Constructive dismissal is fun!

      I will not mention the grift. The buying and selling of identities, and the harvesting of benefits.
