Read Peter Zeihan’s book, The Accidental Superpower. He predicted this move in 2014. He said Putin would do this within 8 years, the point where military age men would become insufficient to wage wars of attrition. (Or something to that effect)

Photos of their supply lorries show non-palatized stacks of everything from mortars to rations. A non-palatzied container takes three days to unload, while a palatized container takes four hours… meaning the Russkies can’t effectively supply their people and are running out of everything from gas to potatoes.

Isn’t it interesting since the US and IMF screwed over Russia following their bloodless revolution (Google “Jeffrey Sachs Russia”) the life expectancy among Russian MEN dropped over 15 YEARS. The US policy was a deliberate attempt to punish Russia. They pulled other former Eastern Bloc countries out of communist market morass, but not Russia. What was the result? Oligarchs and Western banks made a killing. So is it any surprise Putin holds a grudge?

Thought I’d read a couple years back, that Putin/Russian gov’t were promoting sex parties, group sex/orgies, and special “have sex days”, to bluntly,,, promote breeding and ultimately pregnancy’s, all to bolster births. Special birthing payments(not that we don’t have something similar here)
I have a perfect formula to destroy Russia. Encourage immigration to North America and Western Europe of Russian families with two kids. Pay their airfare and a years sustenance while taking intensive language instruction followed by a year’s work in their field. Hollow out their middle class.

As Doug noted, the decline in life expectancy was highest among Russian men, leaving them with an excess of unmarried females, aggravating the demographic issue. China, on the other hand, due to the one-child policy, has an excess of unmarried men. The traditional way of dealing with that problem is to send them off to war, and if the war belongs to Russia to begin with, then it’s win-win for the Chinese and the Russians.

Note the narrow waist in the 20-24 age group. This means that Russia is entering a massive baby bust.
Also note that a lot of Russians are approaching retirement age, with few twenty year olds set to replace them in the work force.
Also note that there are far fewer older Russian men than women. This is reportedly because the men have a habit of drinking themselves into an early grave.
