    1. BAD – She is outstanding. I saw part of the Netflix (I think it was) story of Pamela Anderson (and Tommy Lee) and while Pam is very attractive in an artificial sort of way, Sophia is in a league of her own and infinitely classier. Speaking of no-class, the Pam and Tommy series is a joke. The worst acting wasn’t done by the repulsive talking penis which is where I exited.

      1. I don’t think I’ve ever paid attention to Pamela Anderson.

    2. Let us not forget the classic “A Countess From Hong Kong”

Sophia at 60 was prettier than Pamela at 20.

      1. I only recently saw and enjoyed Dr Strangelove and liked him the Insp. Clouseau roles. Sellers was madly in love with Loren. There’s a 2004 biopic about his life which the TCM Channel owns, it features Geoffrey Rush in the lead role. I hope to catch it on the channel sometime. Sellers was one of a kind, what a life! Here is a short clip from the biopic:

Thanks for the music Frances, B A and Robert and also the Cary Grant flick, “Operation Petticoat” with Tony Curtis from B A. @ 1:27 am.

  1. Ron says that men can’t compete in women’s sports. The sad thing is, this is now a radical thought. A friend wanted me to come work at his new branch in Tampa. It’s looking better all the time.

  2. Sophia Loren and Cary Grant were together in the movie Houseboat. It’s not available for viewing on YouTube so, instead, how about another Cary Grant flick, Operation Petticoat with Tony Curtis:

Watch for Gavin MacLeod in an early role and Kirk Douglas in a cameo.

    1. Old news. I already knew about that letter, but much has changed since January 2022.
I can tell you that no one has called me from Ontario Health, and I have received no inquiries from my family doctor regarding my vaccination status.
That letter is nearly three months old, and since I have rec’d nothing from the government to date, dare I assume that there’s not going to be a follow-up? After all, the announced dropping of mandates occurred AFTER that letter was issued.
Yes, I agree, that the letter was even distributed is deeply concerning, but I have the feeling that governments realized they pushed too far, and relented. Still, it’s just a pause. I’m convinced that something else is coming down the line. Perhaps they’ve paused this tracking because they feel with the implementation of the digital ID system, they would not have to track the non-vaxed.

Regardless, I’m safe for the moment.

  3. For those people who thought fuel prices would go back down…
Sorry bud but it’s REALLY NOT looking good.

Shortages are usually a bad sign that they go up drastically especially when exporters start banning it’s export from their own country.
Between the worlds Militarys and fuel transportation, they drink lots of joy juice.

  4. Now that Field Marshall Blackie has neutered the fake parliament, he’s free to do the things he loves. This of course is burning jet fuel around the world at taxpayer expense. As usual Dear Leader waved to an empty tarmac last night and headed for Europe. He will be the comedy act at the European parliament today, as he gives a speech on democracy. His NDP lapdog will be holding down the fort for him back here on Turtle Island.

    1. I drive a diesel and I was surprised to fill up yesterday at $1.75/l. There is a short stretch of Hwy 6 between the 401 and 403 with many gas stations. Everywhere else is $1.90 and up.

What nobody seems to mention is that jet fuel is almost the same as diesel – my car would run happily on Jet A if I wanted to. That means a dearth of diesel would also lead to a similar problem with jet fuel. But I am sure Blackie will have a private stash so as not to interfere with his lifestyle.

    1. I worked through high school and my first university during the summer as a saw cutter for a house carpenter crew. I must have cut thousands of 2x4x8 “studs”. Back then we kept the lumber pile unguarded overnight (it took about five days to frame an average bungalow). Can’t do that these days.

      1. They told us lumber would go down in the spring! I have a couple of projects to do for people and apparently waiting for the lumber to go down was a big error!

      2. A year ago I installed some used cupboards in a garage. As a countertop I used 3/4 inch sanded oak plywood because it was cheaper than 3/4 inch spruce. They got a bargain on a trailer of oak which likely traveled 1,000 miles.

    1. Yes, I seem to recall an eminent fruit fly specialist having something to say about that and it’s horrific coincidence with ‘peak oil’.

  5. I agree!

Russian Court Labels Meta ‘Extremist Organization’

    https://humanevents.com/2022/03/21/russian-court-labels-meta-extremist-organization/

“A Russian court on Monday labeled Meta, the newly formed parent company of Facebook, as an “extremist organization.”

The designation means that Facebook and Instagram will continue to be blocked in the country. It may also mean that all commercial activity and display of symbols associated with the brand could be outlawed, The Hill reports.”

    1. “newly formed parent company of Facebook, as an “extremist organization.”

I don’t understand that if Facebook is calling for the murder of Russians, why the Russian government can’t put a bounty on Facebook?

Facebook is a defacto government agency and a proxy for the Democrat party, Zuckerburg himself has essentially declared war on Russians around the world. Why shouldn’t Russia consider him a hostile & dangerous enemy combatant, and treat him accordingly?

    1. A court challenge in Canada is like asking those who made up the rules to change the rules. The s c o c, is bunch of bought and paid for socialists who gladly trample individual freedom, just because they can.

  6. Wrt the unofficial merger of the two federal communist parties.

I don’t think Jag has a handle on how to negotiate a political agreement with the liberals.
    Always conclude any agreement with
    “That will do nicely…….for now”

    1. I’ve heard that in certain countries, “crossing the floor” is used as a tactic by some men to avoid conscription, even going as far as having the full renovation.

The military forces in those countries consider that to be a mental problem, something which wouldn’t be an asset to a recruit.

  7. Rumor has it that the new Liberal-NDP coalition will move to prevent any new investment in fossil fuels. I’ll be making sure the fire wood is topped up.

  8. Regarding the plan crash in China – the only logical answer is pilot suicide with someone on the flight deck fighting back.

  9. The stock market was down today, partly due to a spike in the price of oil courtesy of the shenanigans in Ukraine.

I’m sure that the announcement by the Singh-Trudeaus yesterday had a lot to do with Toronto’s decline, though a lot of investors probably also took some profits today.

  10. I got my latest power bill today. I’m paying roughly 20% more over what I did a year ago for about the same amount of electricity.

    Just a-savin’ the planet, I am…..
