  6. WTF is “mischief” and how is it a criminal charge? I would have thought arson, maybe, or assassination, but “mischief” like, calling people names?

    4. I looked up the Criminal Code and mischief seems to be a catch all offense with a penalty up to life imprisonment. That would be where a life is seriously threatened. I suspect the penalty for mischief is normally pretty minor and I suspect the offense is not commonly used. Because the nature of the offense and the extreme penalties expect plea bargains by innocent people. I think the offense is like being charged with obstruction of justice in the US for not giving up your 5th amendment rights – a catch all.

        A crowd in a park preventing people from enjoying a picnic (the city’s property). Is that it?

        So what strike is not mischief?
        So what public assembly is not mischief?

        We have a right to public assembly. Criminal Code is subservient to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
        Also, is that not why in Ottawa and in Windsor and in Coutts the protestors would allow one lane of traffic through in order to allow use to continue (just not to full degree as a protest)?

      2. Mischief is similar to the hockey penalty interference. It’s a catch all that referees can use when the exact penalty escapes them. Technically, any other penalty in the book can be called as interference.

        However, some types of mischief can be quite serious just as trying to detach a player’s head from their body is interference.

        The penalty/law is neutral and can be used in a good or bad way.

  12. Truckers need to escalate this in a peaceful, non-violent way.

    A general trucking strike is probably the best way. Just walk away.

    No shipping of goods, except canned food.

    Let the economy idle.

    Crush the tax base.

    Let the government and the parasite class flounder.

    1. No shipping of ANYTHING PERIOD.
      No services of any kind to any of the Elite at all, AT ALL.
      That includes parts/chemicals to repair electrical generation, water and sewage treatment facilities, fuel refineries, auto plants, heavy and light industries, mining facilities, all foods and supplies for anybody.
      If you want this to work , EVERYONE MUST FEEL THE PAIN.
      Only exception to be made would be major critical infrastructure like nuclear power plants, can’t have a melt down or we are truly fucked.
      Perhaps also hospitals if you are feeling generous.

  14. Call your banks and your insurance/pension companies and get them up to speed.

    Ask them how anyone can have any confidence in the Canadian banking system now.
    They seem to understand the seriousness of that question.

      When you say out loud, over the phone or in person “I no longer have any faith in the Canadian banking system. My money is not safe here!” people look. The bank people looked startled to see truth spoken aloud. Guy behind me said he was taking out everything he could.

      I’ve been trying to guage how much of a bank run is going on. Twitter has had anecdotal posts that people are taking out money in large groups. There is also a silent transfer going on online to people’s accounts in other countries. How many people have dual citizenship and somewhere else to send their money to from the comfort of their own home?

      Just because we didn’t hear media reports of people dying from the jab didn’t mean it wasn’t happening. I certainly don’t expect news reports of bank runs…

      1. It won’t be long till this gets noticed by Ottawa and they clamp down on all the banking like they did in Greece and Cyprus when there was a bank run.
        Shut down all banks and wait it out, similar to the 1929 stock market crash and subsequent bank runs.

        Then all the banking laws are changed and we get shafted even harder.

  17. They should leave. There are other ways for all of us to participate in overthrowing these people without expecting a small group to lose their livelihoods. A day in jail is no big deal, but losing your rig while still owing on the loan is devastating.

  18. If things are fair the banks seized the bank account on behalf of the government that the truck payment has to come out of and they end up repossessing a busted up truck with tens of thousands in towing and storage charges.

    1. The banks don’t care, it will end up on their books as a tax write off.
      Happens all the time from dead beats.
      Loss provisions are set aside yearly for just such incidents.
      Cost of doing business, hence the reason for your higher bank and credit fees.

    At any televised public event chanting “f@ck you Trudeau” as soon as the media starts going live would be one good way. Especially if it airs on CBC. Would drive the little dictator mad.

    I would relish it to no end if this occurs during the next live broadcast of an NHL game with alternating chanting of that and let’s go Brandon.

    1. The government mouths keep saying only applies beginning Feb. 15 which is how law is to work in Canada (and any sane country) but that doesn’t mean the minions in government and the financial institutions are behaving that way: illegal but doing it anyway.

    I think the best strategy now is to provoke every larger city to lock down without an actual protest happening. Let them all look like Ottawa or Toronto. Let them all be a reminder what are the police state consequences of suppressing peaceful dissent. People need to be as sick of the state imposed protection racket as they are of mandates.

  22. The public assembly must be foreseen to do one of the following things. I don’t know Winnipeg well, could this occur by an assembly in the Broadway, Memorial area cited? If not, it is more cop BS intimidation … but that is cold comfort when they don’t care about actually following the law.

    (a) the serious disruption of the movement of persons or goods or the serious interference with trade;
    (b) the interference with the functioning of critical infrastructure; or
    (c) the support of the threat or use of acts of serious violence against persons or property.

  23. How about a trucker strike? I mean they all just came in contact with someone with coif so they have to stay at home. All of them.

    1. Exactly. Some truckers are already talking about it. A few are parking their rigs. Embargo Ottawa then make sure no scabs deliver. Truck drivers have a lot more power than they realize. Enough of the street parties and bouncy castles. Time to get serious.

Gee, what if, by some unforeseen cosmic coincidence, trucks suddenly stopped delivering anything to Ottawa (they don’t want the smelly things there, anyway). No food, no gas, no beer, no nothing. I mean, if a trucker’s bank account has been frozen, he can hardly afford to fuel up his rig and deliver stuff to Ottawa’s stores, restaurants and citizens, can he?. The new mantra should be, Deliveries will resume when Zoolander is deposed.
