  6. Let’s say there’s a no confidence motion today in Parliament. Right now there are Libs=159, CPC=119, BQ=32, NDP=25 the rest is insignificant. CPC+BQ=151. Libs+NDP=184. Assuming that CPC+BQ vote all for theTurd to go down, the motion needs only 17 to wake up from Libs+NDP block. Which is too much, I don’t think there are that many able to grow a spine and standup for Canada. Plus, I don’t think CPC+BQ will ALL vote for the motion. There are rats and weasels in CPC/BQ as well 🙁

I’m totally naive on this but it’s possible that Singh lost a huge opportunity on this event: large representation from Sikhs in the movement, some union leaders against mandates (e.g. Ottawa Police union fought and won on mandates). Jagmeet could bring the govt down, form a temporary coalition with Conservatives (Bergen is non-toxic), consulted with the truckers, get rid of Trudeau, get rid of the trucker mandates, solve all these problems, avoid military involvement, come across as anti-authoritarian and be the hero. Lead the country through the de-transition from covid times. Boldness; ballsiness. He doesn’t have it in him.

  16. After reading the Star’s critique of Trudeau, IMO the Star feels Trudeau didn’t do enough to remove the Freedom Convoy protestors. They wanted them removed by force, not negotiation. And his failure to beat there heads in with Billy Clubs and call in the Army or RCMP to do this is why they are upset.
    It’s a strange fucking country where citizens fighting for freedom from the last 2 years of medical tyranny are not supported by a sizable population of fellow citizens. It’s like they are scared of being let free.

  32. Seems to me that Trudeau is invoking this measure at just the time when things were easing up. The Ambassador Bridge had been re-opened without violence or incident. The mayor and Convoy leaders were talking about moving trucks out of the residential neighborhoods. Provinces were talking about lifting restrictions. There has been no violence though attempts had been made to provoke it. So, this is political posturing on Trudeau’s part to be able to take credit for dismantling the protest.
