  1. “measures to regulate or prohibit any public assembly — other than lawful advocacy, protest or dissent — that may reasonably be expected to lead to a breach of the peace”

We will allow any lawful protest or dissent – that meets with the approval of the Liberal Party of Canada.

  2. “But they mocked me.
    They laughed at me.
    They will respect muh authority.
How do I make them respect muh authority Gerald?”
Lisping and dramatic pauses deleted for clarities sake.

  3. By committing this act against all reason and all decency,Trudeau’s regime has become illegitimate. Any liberal MP who doesn’t demand Trudeau’s resignation is forever tainted by the stench of treason.

    1. I haven’t got past this yet: (v) the potential for an increase in the level of unrest and violence that would further threaten the safety and security of Canadians; and

  4. It talks about blockades but is that what the protest in Ottawa is? I mean it doesn’t matter anyway since they can do whatever they want for whatever reason.

  5. …on reasonable grounds…

Yeah, anything is ‘reasonable grounds’ when you’re clinging to power.

  6. The real question is, who the hell can do anything about it? In the real world, the only law that really matters is Might is Right. And the government has that at every level.

  7. Dan Crenshaw R-TX is trolling:

He posted the link to Immigration because we need truckers. Lolol

Apply for a visa. But leave that goofy Parliament politics up there.

    1. Dan Crenshaw is a RINO scumbag who got elected by acting conservative. He’s a WEF global young leader graduate.

  8. measures to authorize or direct any person to render essential services of a type that the person is competent to provide, including services related to removal, towing and storage of any vehicle, equipment, structure or other object that is part of a blockade anywhere in Canada

The tow truck operators are going to be compelled to remove the semi trucks. No mention of payment for services rendered. Modern day slavery?

    1. I believe the language in the actual Emergency Act says, yes they can compel people to do the governments bidding but it does state they will be compensated.
      Either way, it’s BS

      1. If I had a tow truck in Ottawa right now, I’d pull out the engine and dismantle it on the floor in front of the truck.

  9. And about 30% if not more of the citizens of this country are good with that.
Sometimes when you talk to them, you get the sense that they are having out of body experiences.

  10. Dan Crenshaw is a RINO scumbag who got elected by acting conservative. He’s a WEF global young leader graduate.

  11. (vi) other temporary measures authorized under section 19 of the Emergencies Act that are not yet known.

Well, that’s a bit vague. It seems to me that a vast majority of this document violates the very basis of the Act. It is presumptuous…and doesn’t deal with specific occurrence. Instead, it deals with actions and behaviors that MIGHT result in detriment.

IOW …beware the government documents that rely heavily on “reasonable expect” and “could” qualifiers. It’s code for “control.”

  12. /Keep Acting Non-Violent. Peaceful, Non Violent Protests got you this far. Do not give the b@st@rds an excuse. Make Trudeau look like the Chicken Sh!t Cowardly Pr!ck He IS. Trudeau refuses to meet with any of the protesters. He literally ran away from Ottawa the first week. He has run out of how many Question Times? Two that I know of last week.

The NON-Violent Protests have achieved so much! How many provinces are dropping their mandates? How many will tomorrow, or Thursday? Non Violent Protest made that happen.
How many Liberal MPs are already distancing themselves from Trudeau? Three? More?
How many NDP MPs are already regretting their vote for the Liberal dictatorship?
The Feckless Liberal Lite Conservative Erin O’Toole already gone.
Keep the pressure on every one of your MPs and MLAs. Calls, Emails, Old Fashioned Letters.

Keep the pressure on the polticians. Non Violently, constantly and repeatedly.

  13. By using the nuclear option, I have to agree with the Sun‘s writer that Prinz Dummkopf’s action constituted a complete and utter failure of leadership. But, then, we already knew that when he chickened out and suddenly had contracted the virus.

  14. The Emergencies Act is here
    https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/e-4.5/page-1.html#docCont

In Part II, definitions it states
“public order emergency means an emergency that arises from threats to the security of Canada and that is so serious as to be a national emergency; (état d’urgence)”

and earlier a national emergency is defined as ”
3 For the purposes of this Act, a national emergency is an urgent and critical situation of a temporary nature that
    (a) seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity or authority of a province to deal with it, or
    (b) seriously threatens the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada
and that cannot be effectively dealt with under any other law of Canada.”

Since the protests do not meet either criteria in the definition of “National Emergency” there is no Public Order Emergency and the Order in Council is null and void.

Also, I note the preamble states.
“AND WHEREAS the Governor in Council, in taking such special temporary measures, would be subject to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Bill of Rights and must have regard to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, particularly with respect to those fundamental rights that are not to be limited or abridged even in a national emergency;”
The International Covenant on Civil & Political Rights is here

  15. Strother (Trudeau) Martin’ s character in a slow Southern drawl announcing to everyone because of Paul Newman’s character in the 1967 movie Cool Hand Luke, ‘What we got here is failure to communicate!’.

Whereas Justin needs ‘Emergency Powers’ because of his failures on multiple levels, Martin’s character only had to deal with relatively few captives.

Go Canadian TRUCKERS… Freedom Fighters everywhere & FJB

  16. has any of the constitutional law groups filed a request for injunction on the basis that they do not reasonably believe that the governor general belief is reasonable?

note that the emergency act was not activated after 9/11 or during the rail blockades in 2020

  17. In seven days it has to be voted on in the house and the senate. The conditions are clearly stated. Then we will find out who Trudescu’s bought and paid for supporters are. Any guesses on how the NDP will vote?
