Looks like this morning the police cleared out the small handful of protesters that stayed through the night in Windsor. The number of police officers and all the resources used could be called massive by comparison.

The question now is can police keep control of the area and how many people will it take to do so? A slightly bigger, slightly more organized protest group could easily gum everything up again for a longer time. Similar smaller groups can reappear sporadically and spontaneously in the area. It also looks like it will be nearly impossible for the police to duplicate this effort elsewhere.
I believe the pedestrian protesters are mostly removed but the bridge is still blocked by big rigs…not sure but it looks to be a repeat of yesterday where MSM we’re gleefully reporting the bridge was being cleared early on and then things stalled again later on…the cops are mostly with us!

Everyone meet up at the Canadian Tire on route 3 to, ummmmmmm, console yourselves from getting pushed off the bridge.

Many are staying in the hotels close to the capital and the hotels are charging from $700 to $1000 per night.
No wonder the PM is dragging this out. It’s a boom for the local economy.
Is there two way traffic yet?
It seems to me that if a bunch of protesters decided they’d like a mid winter vacation down south they could all head down to the Windsor crossing – without proof of vaccination/QR codes etc. It’d be a real shame if a backlog developed due to all the paperwork.

There’s nothing wrong with backing out unscathed and protesting somewhere else. They should start with Doug Fords personal businesses. Maybe go back to the borders in a few days, hit and run tactics have served army’s and guerrillas very well when faced with overwhelming forces. They usually pick at the supply lines and harass in small skirmish groups.
No broken teeth, no criminal records and no fines.
I dearly hope Kamelllaaalalala Harris will donate bail money to these absolutely-peaceful protestors. As opposed to the mostly-peaceful ones she bailed out of their violence, looting, and arson charges.
