How many trucks can Trudeau tow if the tow trucks won’t tow trucks?

He’d tow as many trucks as a turd can tow when the tow trucks won’t tow trucks.
What do I win?

Combien de camions Trudeau peut-il remorquer si les dépanneuses ne remorquent pas de camions
He can keep his mandates with Gerry Butts.
The rest have to go.
Golf clap nick , well played
Bonnie Henry took a vax
And gave the province 40 wacks.
When she saw, results were none
She said – Oh what the hell , lets try 41!
Clever!
Quite good, but it doesn’t scan properly to me. To keep the original cadence may I suggest that the last line should be more like: She said ‘it’s time for 41!’
or She said “Let’s do another one!”
Good call C., I better not quit the day job. The market for poets has always been a bit thin on the ground in Canada.
Whenever Prinz Dummkopf scolds us about the protests, I’m reminded of that but from Macbeth, Act 5, Scene 5–you know, something about:
“It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.”
Personally, I think he’s more like something mentioned just before that in the same soliloquy:
“…..a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And is then heard no more.”
(By the way, it’s much better in the original Klingon!)
Everything is better in the original Klingon, especially the Ring Cycle.
You want Shakespeare in Klingon? I give you Shakespeare in Klingon:
There is a tapette from Quabeck
Whose PMship is an utter wreck
He’ll try to save face

War is coming. This time next year, cops will be getting ambushed in horrific ways – It’s almost better tactics for the bad actors NOT to have guns in situations like these…
You can’t subdue a hostile population by using cops as douchebags against them. NATO found that out in Afghanistan. IEDs aren’t the only way to hurt the agents of the state.
Once cops’ home addresses are routinely hacked, it’s all over. They will abandon the force in droves. The Bolsheviks and the IRA showed how effective reprisals against cops can be. 1917 and 1918 were epic bad years for cops in Russia.
Cops in Canada should think very long and very hard about how they wish to live the next few years, and what their families will be subject to as a result. Consent of the governed is actually a thing.
Worst case scenario, Putin starts landing weapons and supplies, plus ‘advisors’ from submarines around the coasts – kinda taking the oppo to create payback for Ukraine.
Shit gets ugly real fast when large numbers of people are seriously pissed off…
A good read is “Caught in the Revolution” by Helen Rappaport, the beginning of the Russian Revolution as seen by various foreigners (journalists, diplomats, etc.) living in Moscow & Petersburg at the time. She describes workers starving while their betters had no shortage of delicacies, war profiteering, etc. The angry populace turned on the police, throwing the Pharaohni (police) from rooftops and the sailors & soldiers turned on their officers. At the time, everyone was glad to see the end of Tsarism and hoping for a better future. Unfortunately, what had originally begun as a peoples’ revolt was soon taken over by the Bolsheviks and we know how that turned out for Average Ivan.
That’s the problem when you burn it all down.
What’s waiting in the wings to replace it.
Maybe 6uild 6ack 6etter ?
Plus, cops will have PTSD at every Canadian flag on a car! 🙂 Every big hockey game, soccer etc, whenever we will have Canadian flags on our cars, all cops will think “what if this is a sign of rebellion?”
The truckers are the kind of stout fellas who go hunting, yes? With guns? I hope the authorities realize who they’re dealing with.
I’m going to my house in B. C. this weekend. It’s a few doors down from a local trucker. I should give him a call when I’m in town.

Major Stephen Chledowski has something to say about our current situation:

The pandemic is phony, our PM is a pony,
Vax jab! Vax jab! We all fall down!
But , but – they said “A little jab’l do ya”! And then it was “I’d like to buy the world a poke”.
