    Jokes aside my cousin by marriage died from a heart attack this week while on an overnight social bike hike. Apparent women in their 40s die from heart attacks all the time, and the apparent take away is that we should all get regular medical checks and not that maybe we shouldn’t live in a state run by a rampaging Triple Vax totalitarian who has his jackboots beat people in the street over mask compliance.

    Doesn’t help that other members of my family are the sorts who believe that Pfizer is the greatest thing to happen to health since Ug the caveman worked out that applying pressure and help stop bleeding.

    Jab deaths are apparently pure coincidence and not worthy of further investigation.

    Yeah. Might be a little annoyed about all this.

    2. There is zero history of any cardiovascular issues anywhere in my family tree. All my grandparents lived into their late 80s and a great-aunt reached 102. I’ve now lost two relatives to sudden cardio issues (heart attack and brain aneurysm). Both died within 30 days of receiving a booster. Now, both were in their early 70s, so I can’t rule out a simple statistical cluster, but I expect to lose more friends and family in the next few years.

    The latest from the CDC is that if you come down with covid and survive you could possibly be affected by myocarditis later after you recover. I guess they are trying to cover all the bases here, damned if you do and damned if you don’t follow the CDC instructions.

  14. People who live in the real world didn’t overreact to every frivolous thought that entered the mind of Anthony Fauci, and are not at increased risk of cardiac events – unless they got vaccinated.

    People who live in the real world aren’t terrified by a theoretical 2 degree centigrade increase in the temperature of the planet – because they’re too busy sharpening their snow shovels, and dealing with the actual 35 degree centigrade drop in temperature that came in last night, and brought with it 16 inches of snow.

    People in the real world realize Anthony Fauci killed more than he saved – and that the government grants him the highest salary paid to a US federal employee.

    All the while, universities with $4 billion endowments flood our streets with graduate degreed prats with perfect hair or topknots, who pronounce with supreme confidence, “I never did it, but I read a book about it once,” while the toilet overflows beneath their feet.

    Then in 1939 when they had the chance to advance into German in support of Poland (aka – the Country the Declared War to Support) they stopped cause attacking was too hard and they didn’t build that Good Defense just to leave it behind doing nothing. Then in 1940 Germany decided the Best Offense was an Offense cause nothing screws up your opponents careful plans then making them constantly react to you.

    Defense that doesn’t force your enemy to attack you does not damage your enemy.
