Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I quite enjoyed Billy Graham’s quote at the end of the article … ” When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened.”
It’s quite obvious The Truckers have stiffened millions upon millions spines. People the world over are standing up straight and with focused purpose … thanks to The Truckers.
Karl Marx was not wrong about everything.
We are seeing in the streets of Ottawa evidence of what he predicted: that the working class would eventually tire of supporting a parasitic government and monopolies of capital and credit that offered them nothing but wage- and debt-slavery and push it aside.
He did not foresee, of course, that the absolute LAST thing the working class wanted was the abolition of private property. They have never acquiesced to it unless they have been defeated in war by forces commanded by a communist government. They want control over their own lives and over the fruits of their labour. That includes control of the supply of credit as well as non-financial capital.
Our globalist friends in government and on Wall Street will never agree to this willingly. On the contrary, the more difficult it is for an entrepreneur to set up in opposition to Big Anything, the happier they are.
To paraphrase Keean Bexte: the Convoy is the workers’ revolt Karl Marx foresaw—just not the one he hoped for.
True, so True. Freedom, limited government power over lives of citizens. Thank God long past due. If Gov knocked off control tactics last year, likely this would not have occurred.
BUT, they kept taking rights and freedoms, and the spark lit a smoldering inferno of ENOUGH.
Yesterday the Biden Administration’s Dept of Homeland Security (DHS), under the current control of the far left, stating that free speech is now the biggest domestic threat for terrorism. Also published yesterday there was an op/ed in the Canadian Globe about “weaponized freedom”…. coincidence? The Tweet for the linked op/ed says, “Opinion: The alt-right has ‘weaponized’ freedom to undermine democracy.” Heads up Canadians. Link: https://archive.is/olfxp
