55 Replies to “The Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition”

  1. The Lieberal MP is a smug P.O.S. “They’ve made their point. They can now go home.” What an elitist, dismissive cretin. Precisely what is wrong with political leadership in Canada … along with Trudeau, Singh, and O’Toole.

    1. Yeah, caught that right off the bat.

Now, go home (so we can continue oppressing YOU!)

FOAD, LIEberals. This looks like a hill worth d-ing on.

Don’t know about you, but, I don’t see any heavy hauler tow trucks that would want to go within miles of their trucker friends here. The “authorities” don’t have a clue what to do here, and no way to get the trucks out of there.

So far it’s NOISE from the usual suspects. It’s all they have!

    2. It’s amazing how they beg for ‘respect’ when it’s not their people trying things up.
Go back to your homes, plebes, so we can get back to ruling you.

      1. we can get back to ruling you

And stomping our boots forever on your faces.

    3. I actually thought he looked embarrassed and uncomfortable that he had to be out there taking it in the nuts while Dear Leader was in hiding.

      1. Agreed. But he could go out and hear out the convoy but I’m doubting he made any attempts to do that. Must be hard being so ball-less that you have to do the dirty work of someone even more ball-less than you.

    4. “They’ve made their point. They can now go home.”

And the “common enemy” is the virus…..

        1. Good one! Except viruses tend to mutate, often into a more benign form. We’ve seen Prinz Dummkopf go from a village idiot to an immature frat boy to an outright tyrant.

  2. And where’s the ball-less tit who nominally runs the CPC? Hey O’Toole… did you forget all about the leadership lessons you got at CFOCS?

  3. Both Trudeau and O’Toole absent. Says a lot eh?

Nobody cares about the other ‘leaders’, though I suspect they were absent too.

Not much value for money here.

    Go Truckers Go!

    Let’s go (insert name)!

  4. Kate, I think you meant “The REAL leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition.”

    O’Toole’s also done, IMNSHO.

    1. Exactly, Garth. The obvious Leader has spoken.

Now, if the so-called “conservative” party doesn’t want to be swallowed up by PPC, they better stick a fork in Erin and get on with it.

  5. Ottawa realizes now, how it is when other areas of the country impose their will upon them.

Well, I doubt it, perhaps in a couple of months they’ll be more clear on that. Recall the National Energy Program was in existence for 6 years until PM Mulroney cancelled it.

Ottawa has “suffered” for a few days, and in a week they’ll be referring to this as a “siege” by westerners even though Quebec and the Atlantic provinces have truckers there as well.

    1. The vast number of Ottawa’s population, being public servants, did not lose one nickel in pay during the lockdowns and restrictions, unlike so many Canadians that lost everything…careers, businesses, homes, friends and family. Ottawa never suffered and is not suffering now.

      1. Ottawa never suffered and is not suffering now.

and never will suffer. Being government means never admitting you’re wrong, never being accountable for anything, never having to sacrifice for anything, never stop telling other people what to do and how to do (real expertise or knowledge not required), and never going without a fat inflation-indexed paycheque or pension.

government is a “human” combination of parasite and malignant tumour.

      2. I did not say Ottawa suffered, I did say they “suffered” … One is real, one is not.
The “siege” they’ll refer to soon, is bloodless.

        😉

I think all federal gov’t employees received pay increases over the past 2 years, while private industry which pays for their insanities have lost their shirts.

    1. Panem on the Rideau could certainly use some disciplining, that’s for sure. They’ve forgotten who they work for.

    2. Yup….that is EXACTLY what is required. Ottawa loves lockdowns so let’s give them one….good and hard. While we are at it, we should shut the oil and gas taps off as well.

    3. Exactly.

Block the 417 and every practical alternate truck route. If you bring in anything edible, it had better be to re-supply the truckers.

You want to leave? Be prepared to empty your bank accounts and surrender your car keys, your house keys and your iTurd. A trucker will drive you in his cab at least 100 kilometers from the city to a sparsely populated area of his choosing. After that you’re on your own.

Got a problem with that? I hear pandemic puppies are good with ketchup.

Or you can swallow your pride and give the proles what they’re owed. Crazy, I know.

  6. I met Mr. Poilievre more than a decade ago. I was introduced to him by Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry MP Guy Lauzon. He said, “John, I want to introduce you to a future Prime Minister”.

How long before that comes true?

    1. So, what about this Poilievre? He’s laying it out in plain English. He has a problem no matter how smart he might be, he’s not photogenic. I believe the only reason Harper hung in there so long was because he was a 12 on a scale of 10.

  7. Why is Pierre Poilievre still in the CPC? Didn’t O’Stoole remove him from cabinet because reasons?

    1. That’s because he has brains and knows he can have much more impact in his current position than under any other scenario. He is a thinking calculating tactician not a cult leader.

  8. Libs in Perliament: “De-escalate” “Dial down the rhetoric”
Lib leader “The truckers are stealing food from the homeless.”
    Un-fuckin’ real.

  9. May God continue to bless the snivelling spawn of the sperm-dumpster groupie known as Maggie, and the Marxist maple syrup morons of the Canadian Left who continue to disappoint with their vapid dishonest elite portrayals of actual working folks.

  10. Can anyone address the main issue; That in a Free Country we get to decide what is put in our own bodies. who cares about “symbols” and flags. We either respect bodily autonomy and security of the person as foundational rights in our country, or we continue along the road to serfdom. Everything else is a distraction at this point.

    1. Right you are except the country is not free. This protest is fundamentally aimed at restoring that freedom. Such as it was.

    2. Agree! that debate ended to soon!
I was looking forward to comment like…”Why force the jab that doesn’t work?!”

    3. Agree! that debate ended to soon!
I was looking forward to comment like…”Why force the jab that doesn’t work?!”

    4. Agree! that debate ended to soon!
I was looking forward to comment like…”Why force the jab that doesn’t work?!”

    5. I have to say, the Canadian flags are jarring to me. Canadians are proud not to be nationalists, aren’t they? Unless they’re traveling overseas and don’t want to be mistaken for evil Americans?

This truck convoy smacks of a Trump boat parade with all it’s inherent personality and nationalist symbols. I’m a jingoistic U.S. patriot so I’m loving all this, but definitely find it confusing.

  11. InPolitical theatre designed to suck in the gullible and naive!
Did I somehow miss Pierre’s strident opposition to mandate O’Toole during the last election? Now the cons are the hero’s of the right?
Pierre will blow hard, and if the truckers give in and go home, will do nothing and Pierre will say, “Well, we did our best for you, but it was not to be, send money and vote for us, and we’ll fix this outrage!”
I read this book before, and saw the play!
The only way it changes is if the working people don’t go to work.
Pierre aint in it for you.

    1. Agree 100 %. Calculated, analysed response carefully tailored for the biggest bang for the buck.

  12. Instead of showing vaccine passports, how about showing proof of paternity?

That would be entertaining at least.

  13. Another irony is the NDP complaining about people blockading citizens wanting to go to work and do their business.

I wonder how that applies to logging blockades and other economic disruptions sponsored by the socialist party?

Apparently what’s good for the goose is bad for the gander.

Speaking of which, a picture has surfaced on the intertubes of a gay Liberal activist (get this) appropriating a Terry Fox statue for the rainbow cause. He has Terry carrying a rainbow flag. This must have been in a recent election campaign.

Now, I think the folks in PoCo have a point when they say, please don’t put words in Terry’s mouth. Fair enough. We don’t know what Terry Fox would have thought about all this. Or gay rights either.

Here again, you’ll probably never see this anywhere but on the internet. It’s in a thread on Free Republic (subject Terry Fox statue defaced).

This all strikes an eerie chord for me. In one of my two freedom of speech show trials in Ottawa, I made reference to both the war memorial and the Terry Fox statue (as symbols of our fighting spirit). Now these events. It has raised a big “hmmm” in my mind. There are after all experts on disinformation employed by the government in various places around town. I wonder how much of both issues are in fact made up imagery. It would be dead easy for anyone to get a dog to pee on a snowbank, I live in a town where that seems to be the main social activity of those who are not out ski-ing.

  14. I fucking hope Canada is done as a country. I so desperately want to see it collapse under the weight of its inhabitants’ stupidity. Our media is filled with lying journo crap who should be flipping burgers for all eternity, politicians who belong at the end of a rope, and bureaucrats who should stand trial for crimes against humanity.

    1. This. Anybody know an alcoholic? Ya gotta hit bottom before you can rebuild. These fuckers are drunk on their power & they all need a big dose of sobriety.

    2. Shhhh. Our countries are both on the brink. Their collapse would be a dark day for the entire world. Send money to conservative politicians. Post yard signs. Help conservatives register to vote. Don’t let the best countries in the world go down the tubes.

  15. The leader of her majesty’s loyal opposition is yet to be selected.
I doubt it will emerge from the corpse of our “Conned Servitude Party”.
The public is voting and the bait is growing,at a rate political parties would kill for..
Nothing of importance has been discussed by our political actors for decades, they talk trivia and slander.
These Truckers ain’t even saying much and laugh off suggestions of political office, yet any of them would serve civil society better than our current crop of parasites and asskissers.
Look at what they accomplished in just two weeks?
Can you name one of our current politicians who could even come close?
    Cause I can’t.
    Useless talkers.
The loyal opposition is yet to come together..
All we know for sure,it is not amongst the 338 freeloaders pretending to represent us.

  16. Justin wants everyone to forget that he is a racist coward by injecting racism and other lies into the past few days.

Every person speaking should start off by reminding the coward that HE USED HIS OWN KIDS AS HUMAN SHIELDS WHILE HE RAN AWAY and then carry on with how this is all his fault anyway.

  17. I admit as an American, I’m not 100% familiar with Canadian elections.

Isn’t this time for a no confidence vote?

Trudeau appears to be an embarrassment to Canada.

BTW, if there could be a no confidence vote here, Biden would be Bidone.

    1. A no-confidence vote requires a majority in parliament to pass. With the NDP carrying water for the LPC, this is extremely unlikely. We are de-facto ruled by an NDP/LPC coalition.
