If it means stopping the flow of hand guns to the streets of Toronto, and stopping organized crime from using the reserves for smuggling, yea I’m for it.
Of course, the idea that the people of Toronto should be able to defend themselves from the armed thugs is verboten, your approach is to disarm the innocent.
You are just another gun control thug apologist, screeching the standard Karen “think of the children!” excuse, indeed, it is people like you that are the reason Canada is in such dire straights.
You’re in the ‘Arm All The Violent Criminals By Selectively Enforcing Gun Laws Based On Race’ camp?
Stay out of constitutional carry states, Karen.
That’s nice, dear.
@Ontario John
“If it means stopping the flow of hand guns to the streets of Toronto,……”
I think I understand your intention, believing that “handguns flow” through the Indian Reserves from the US to Canada. If I read into that correctly, you are not wrong in that this is a major source of illicit items that indeed do flow through Reserves.
Otherwise “handguns” are simply a product like any other product and can reach lowlifes from a variety of sources.
How is that War on Drugs going?
The problem isn’t the “products” the problem is the lowlifes creating a market for the products. You need to address the lowlifes to fix the problem and indeed the distributors of illicit products as well, including criminals on reserves and other criminal organizations. Banning Handguns and vilifying Canadian citizens who do own handguns will never solve the “inner city gun crime”. That has proven itself true in Liberal cities and countries around the world.
Some day you will actually make a comment that makes sense. I own guns including a handgun. I think law abiding citizens should be able to carry handguns, but keeping guns out of the hands of criminals is not being liberal.
Then we need much harsher sentences for thugs who commit violent crimes with firearms, or at the VERY least, enforce those laws we AREADY have. As you say, if you’re law abiding, no problems. The issue I have is governments that change laws that now criminalize law abiding citizens so they can steal our firearms. Know any like that?
I agree that Blackie and his Liberals are trying to take guns away from law abiding citizens, in order to distract from his own failed crime policies. Legal guns are not the problem, politicians are. And lenient judges who minimize gun crimes add to the problem. Farmers and duck hunters do not shoot up the streets of Toronto.
Your belief that a gun can be legal or illegal tells us all we need to know.
You want a two-tiered society, those who you approve of having a gun get can get a gun, and those who you don’t approve of having a gun can’t.
You are only different from the Turd in degree, not kind.
Where have you been Buzzard?
We have laws, regulations, ordinances and more Laws.
Who are you going to trust?
To “enforce”?
What becomes the “Law Abiding” when the State Sanctions Mass Murder?
We need to flee the cities and watch then burn, safe in the company of people who share value with you.
For whom Gun Control is important,as in one round one target.
In the growing court case arising from Rodger Kotanko’s Murder, would it be legal for an Adjacent police agency to organize a similar raid and murder?
Lotsa private forces in the USA..
Could we crowd source the “Investigation” of Bill Blair?
To see if he is even breathing?
For once you convince the believers, that you have overwhelmed the Institutions, the result will not be quite what our Progresssives imagine.
No one is coming crying to corrupt courts,Liberal Bent Judges and mouth breathing fools and bandits.

“keeping guns out of the hands of criminals is not being liberal.”
Yes it is. You approve of criminalizing the innocent, if they don’t beg permission from the gov’t to have a gun. It is people like you that had Philip Luty thrown in jail
You should be able to buy them in the same way as you buy a chainsaw or a shovel.
Again, you are a gun control nutter.
Aye OJ, that’s the problem isn’t it. The liberals have it reversed. Unfortunately, they have it reversed deliberately!
“Now” a route?
I wonder where the Grievance Industry Indians stand on this issue?
Is it Whiteys fault that they do illegal things?
Or are the things only illegal in Whitey’s eye?
IMHO every law-abiding Canadian should be able to apply for a licence to carry a concealed weapon.
If people smugglers are called Coyotes in Mexico what are they called up here in Frozen Turd Land? Lynx?
Wolves.
Scum Rats
Or maybe Busy Beavers

They are called Indian & Chinese Nationals holding Canadian dual citizenship’s.
“IMHO every law-abiding Canadian should be able to apply for a licence to carry a concealed weapon.”
Everybody can apply, they just get denied.
What we need is the equivalent of constitutional carry; no permit needed, like Wyoming, Vermont, and a few other states.
The grievance industry does what it’s told by the corporation, they benefit by having them leverage a rentamob on demand for those occasional blockades.
Kinda late to the party folks.
The intra reserve smuggling biz has been going for as long as I can recall.
Pick any reservation that straddles the border and it’s a given that there is traffic to move goods or people denied entry to either country.
It’s been good business for the Native Warriors Society for a good long time and anyone on any of those tribal councils that doesn’t want anything bad to happen just ignores it’s existence.
It will become the underground railroad … a way out of Ford-ario and Leg-bec.
Gun ownership is a natural right.
If you want the gov’t to know who does and doesn’t own a gun, and decide who can and cannot own a gun, you are at best an apologist for tyranny.
I agree.
I think it is reasonable to restrict that right based on any number of factors. People with prior convictions for violence, and toddlers both come to mind.
Once you agree that little Emma shouldn’t be packing her Glock to Kindergarten, you’re conceding that “some” limitations are required.
People who knowingly supply firearms directly to criminals aren’t helping…which is why reducing illegal imports is a good thing. Making it easier for non-violent adults to own any dang gun they want is *also* a good thing. It is possible to have laws that achieve both objectives.
You’re full of it, and little Emma doesn’t need a law preventing her from packing, no more than she needs a law preventing her from bringing a machete or a chainsaw to Kindergarten.
Oh, and what you call “people with a prior conviction for violence” are, in fact, citizens.
It seems people like you can’t trust them on the streets with a gun, but you trust them near your kids with a machete, in sort, you gun control nutters are not sane.
If you have a problem with gun or tobacco smuggling, then you are a liberal who thinks that the gov’t should control gun and tobacco trade.
As an old white guy can I break those same laws with impunity?
Or is the law enforced based on the race and gender of the person breaking that law?
Man, you would hate living in Wyoming or Vermont, where you don’t even need a permit to carry a gun.
You would no doubt prefer Illinois or California.

Maybe this ain’t a test.
Coming to a city near you.
If you haven’t stocked up , be best to get a run on to your local food store.
