Famous last words

In the business world, anyone with this track record for prediction would be out on their ear. But in Sovietized medicine, the powers that be overlook these failures as though selective memory was the fast track to promotion.

the revisionist history around vaccines is getting pretty extreme. let’s be VERY clear:

  • yes, they were promised to stop spread, contagion, and provide herd immunity.
  • yes, those promises were made by the same “experts” currently claiming “vaccines were never supposed to stop spread, just reduce severity.”
  • yes, they were so committed to this that they literally changed the definition of “herd immunity” to EXCLUDE natural immunity.

To be fair though, the message is also being embraced by a population that finds sleepwalking disturbingly comforting.

I am literally gobsmacked by the lack of memory and discernment.

This level of credulity leaves me wondering how the entire country has not already lost its savings in some internet scam.

  1. It doesn’t matter how history is revised. The sheeple will drink the Kool-Aid no matter what. I have argued with them, they don’t care. “Why, the government is just trying to keep us safe”, they interject. For them, the problems are due to selfish uncaring people like me. In appreciation they just cancel me for pointing out their erroneous thinking.

    1. I don’t know why they try so hard to revise history when most sheep don’t even have an historical context to begin with.

  2. They were also promised to be safe and have no side effects. That goes for all four approved in Canada.

          1. Right, of course, I just never think of him as Tony, to me he will always be the cynical Puppy Torturing Fraudci.

  3. Countless things have been predicted by thousands of experts, alleged experts, and complete non-experts, so it’s not difficult to find countless predictions that didn’t materialize, and likely were ill-informed to begin with.

But by reading at least the abstracts of research papers, and the accounts of doctors and nurses in the hospitals treating patients, we can be confident on some points…

o COVID is a serious disease that can debilitate or kill even the young.
o The omicron strain is more contagious but less virulent than previous strains.
o Vaccines decrease you chances of getting COVID, although not so much in the new strains.
o Vaccines significantly decrease your symptoms if you do get COVID.

I know many want to prove how skeptical and transgressive they are by denying everything they’re told about COVID, but in doing so they’re throwing out the baby with the bath water.

      1. Well… it’s name is that of a rodent, and I always take rodents with a grain of salt. Apparently, so do the Chinese, after they drop them into a vat of hot oil while still alive.

        1. Ok KM…I will bite.
#1. MSM talking point there. Covid recovery rate for the last 2 years is 99.7%, and Omicron is less ‘deadly’ than that.
          #2. True (See point #1)
#3.Proven not true with the evidence being the rate of jabbed being admitted to hospital with C19.
          #4. See point

Repeating MSM Fauci/Tam talking points here gets you a bad rep.

          1. #1. MSM talking point there. Covid recovery rate for the last 2 years is 99.7%, and Omicron is less

If every Canadian got an earlier variant of COVID, 114,000 would have died. Only about 30,000 have actually died. In the U.S., the toll is close to a million. That sounds like a disease that “can kill” to me.

As well, many who recovered from COVID are left with serious lasting effects to their organs, including sometimes their brains. This is sometimes referred to as “long COVID”. Brandon Sutter of the Vancouver Canucks is one such case. He hasn’t played a game since last spring.

Here’s the Mayo Clinic’s take on long-term effects:

            https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/in-depth/coronavirus-long-term-effects/art-20490351

          2. Repeating MSM Fauci/Tam talking points here gets you a bad rep.

I don’t care whether Fauci or Tam have made some of these points. I only care about what’s actually true. And so should you. You should take the position that everything they say is not automatically right or wrong, but rather should be fact checked.

          3. “Only about 30,000 have actually died. In the U.S., the toll is close to a million. That sounds like a disease that “can kill” to me.” Except for one thing…..that is only because what would have typically been put in the “comorbidity” column was put in the Covid column.

          4. Art:

Yes, there is uncertainty in the exact statistics. But that uncertainty is not enough to justify claiming that COVID is not a disease that can kill. We know enough now to be absolutely sure it is.

        2. All. You’re just another tool who swallows heaping spoonfuls of bullshit from the propaganda bureau (media).

A Current dosed person is 275% more likely to get Omigod than a PUREBLOOD. (NIH UK data) Boosted? Hmmm, still 25% more likely to get it, with daily declining “protection”
85% of cases in BC are now the vaxxed. Hmm, Bonnie BS didn’t predict that? Looks like she’s wrong again.
Omigod is mild, too, nature’s natural immunity strain, by the way. So, let’s shut down the world for the sniffles and a cough, right?
          Vaccines are a failure.
“Vaccine passports” for a “vaccine” that doesn’t prevent infection, or transmission, is the dumbest concept imaginable. And yet, here we are!

Got your 5th booster yet, Rat?

          1. Current dosed person is 275% more likely to get Omigod than a PUREBLOOD.

That’s incorrect according to this new paper, whch says that the Pfizer vaccine reduces infection rates by omicron by about 70%:

            https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc2119270?query=featured_coronavirus

85% of cases in BC are now the vaxxed.

The Government of B.C. says that 69% of current cases are fully vaccinated. About 90% of the total adult population is fully vaccinated.

            https://news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2021HLTH0235-002434

So far as wisdom of vaccine passports, I never offered an opinion.

          2. You’re defending a losing position

It’s only a “losing position” if it turns out to be wrong. You have offered no evidence that it is. You’ve only postured.

        3. Far more young people have died from suicide and drug overdoses based on lockdowns and the continual covid fearporn that you blithely run up the flagpole.

Take off your third mask, you need some oxygen. And stop digging.

          mhb23re

    1. The vaccines do not work against omicron at all and that’s undisputed fact. The whole vaccine program failed completely. It’s time to end the mandates and all the other garbage and move on from this scam.

        1. Since when do we need a ‘vaccine’ against an illness that resembles the common cold?

          1. South Africa is barely 25% vaccinated and they came through omicron fine.

This is all just nonsense pushed by the media and government, and willingly lapped up by fools who believe unquestioningly accepting that which they are told is the true marker of intelligence (e.g. Killer Marmont).

          2. RM:

About 91,000 South Africans have died so far from COVID. That’s about 1.6 times the death rate as Canada. What that means I don’t know, given the countless confounding factors that are in play between the two countries, but certainly South Africa did not get off scott free.

willingly lapped up by fools who believe unquestioningly accepting that which they are told is the true marker of intelligence (e.g. Killer Marmont).

The true marker of intelligence is that you neither believe nor disbelieve the government and the media, but rather check the facts. In short, to reflexively disbelieve is as foolish as to reflexively believe.

You’ll note I’ve given numerous citations of scientific papers in my responses, and have selected those four claims that stand up to scrutiny.

          3. Since when do we need a ‘vaccine’ against an illness that resembles the common cold?

COVID has been far, far worse than the common cold, as some 30,000 deaths in Canada testify.

The omicron variant does appear to very mild. But some instances are not, and they end up in the Intensive Care Unit. The hope is that:

            1. The omicron symptoms are mostly mild.
            2. The vaccines make it even more so.
            3. Omicron provides some immunity from other strains.

The first two points are already quite well established, and there is some evidence for point 3. This may be an exit ramp off of this pandemic.

          4. I don’t need such a vaccine, but I’d consider getting it if there was one. I’d consider whether the likely benefits were worth the unlikely risks. I’d consider whether it had been rushed through development with truncated trials, whether the government had promised the developers a guarantee of profit and/or immunity from liability for side effects. I’d consider whether the government seemed to be in a panic and was trying to coerce the population to get vaccinated so the government could be seen to be doing something. And then I’d probably decide to take my chances with fresh air, exercise, good nutrition, good hygiene, and the extremely high survival rate we have with the common cold.

If something else doesn’t kill me first I’ll eventually become old and frail enough to be so susceptible to dying from the flu or a cold. May God save you all from the government pretending they can save me from that.

        2. If it’s so effective why are the majority of cases in the vaxxed? I guess if you redefine “effective” to mean “still get sick” then it’s 100% effective.

50% of hospitalizations are vaccinated in Ontario right now and once the delta patients are out it’ll be more like 90% vaxxed in hospital.

          1. If 50% of hospitalizations are vaccinated, but 90% of the total adult population is vaccinated, this speaks strongly for the benefit of vaccination.

        3. Riddle me this, smart guy:

If the “vaccines” are so effective, why are case rates for vaccinated individuals now exceeding their proportion of the overall population?

Data isn’t readily available for all provinces in Canada, but you can see the official statistics for Ontario at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/data

It’s plain as day for anyone who cares to see. The vaccines clearly do not perform as billed. They do not stop infection or transmission, and even their efficacy at reducing hospitalizations appears to be waning precipitously.

Of course, none of this is likely to change your opinion on the matter. You can trust the ever-shifting science and go get as many boosters as you like, but most of us here see those like you as cautionary tales to be avoided and not emulated.

          1. The link you gave says…

            1. 31% of those hospitalized due to COVID are unvaccinated.
            2. 62% of those in the Intensive Care United due to COVID are unvaccinated.

Given that about 10% of the adult population is unvaccinated, this speaks clearly for the effectiveness of COVD for reducing severe symptoms.

          2. Ok, but the case rate for vaccinated individuals unquestioningly exceeds their proportion of the overall population. So it’s fair and accurate to say that the vaccines have failed when it comes to preventing the spread of COVID.

While hospitalizations still appear to be skewed towards the unvaccinated, the rate of vaccinated hospitalizations has been steadily increasing.

Will it eventually reach the point where vaccinated individuals account for more than their share of hospitalizations? We can’t say for sure, but if it happens I’m sure you will remain steadfast in your beliefs – and you’ll continue calling the rest of us science deniers all the while.

            Go get your booster.

          3. you’ll continue calling the rest of us science deniers all the while.

I have never called anyone a science denier, not even those claiming there are 196 genders. I do say that following the science gives us the best hope for separating truth from falsehood.

        4. In Germany, 96% of those with Omicold are vaccinated.

Does your latest “study” analyze THAT, KM?

          mhb23re

    2. Only point 2 is a fact; the other three points have yet to be demonstrated. The young being killed by it is an especially rhetorical point as you can always find an exception.

Point 2 is just an excuse for the vaccines not working for long, if at all.

Point 3 fits snuggly with the rhetoric of point 2; the excuse for it reducing the symptoms of those vaccinated, according to point 2, is because the new versions cause less harm to all.

Yes, politicos are running around saying if you are not vaccinated, you will die a horrible death, if you are, you will only have the sniffles. These are empty words with no proof.

KM, that those responsible are resorting to such arse-covering is an indication of guilt. They know they lied and people died and they hope the survivors do not find out.

      1. Point 2 is just an excuse for the vaccines not working for long, if at all.

So for you, vaccines either prevent every single case forevermore or they’re a fraud.

Sorry, but no vaccine for any disease prevents every case. They can’t. A vaccine does not attack the pathogen directly, but rather works by inducing your immune system to create antibodies which attack the pathogen. But everybody’s immune system is different, and some people’s immune systems will not respond as hoped.

Further, we expect any one vaccine to become less effective with time as the pathogen evolves, even if the vaccine is regulalry re-administered.

        1. And by definition, you KM , MUST KEEP TAKING said ” vaccines ” for life every month.
Do so and keep us apprised of how well it is working out for you.

I will take my chances the old fashioned way that the Mennonite and Amish have been doing and very successfully.

          1. And by definition, you KM , MUST KEEP TAKING said ” vaccines ” for life every month. Do so and keep us apprised of how well it is working out for you. I will take my chances the old fashioned way that the Mennonite and Amish have been doing and very successfully.

Hard to fathom what your point is. Are you suggesting that my views should be rejected because the consequences are hard to bear?

I expect dealing with COVID will come down to getting annual shots, like the flu.

But do as you wish. I recommend you follow the best science on COVID, but I can hardly force you if you prefer Amish technology. In fact, the omicron variant appears to be so mild for the vaccinated (but not so much for the unvaccinated) that more people might just shrug and say “Up to you.”

          2. My views are simple.
The Amish and Mennonite take the view that us humans have lived on this rock for millenia upon millenia .
Plagues and disease have come and gone upon us .
Yet mankind has survived this and thrived without the help of this late 20th century tech called ” vaccines “.

            Simply survival of the fittest.
Now you want to upend that and inject us continually for something that is flu like ?
Our immune systems have adapted to all kinds of bugs and virius over our short time on this Earth.
It works well for most of us without any synthetic help.
The evidence is before your eyes.
You would not be here if that were not the case, your ancestors were of strong stock.

To be brutally frank, trying to keep some people alive out of the billions on this planet that have faulty immune systems with new fangled science is foolish.
For mankind to survive on this unforgiving 3rd Rock from the Sun, requires a survival of the fittest mentality.
Trying to rewire our immune systems is fool hardy in the extreme and will lead to the destruction of our species.
Or is that the intention ?

Best not to play with fire or you get burned.

        2. Influenza shots are annual. Tetanus shots every ten years. Many others are one plus booster for lifetime protection. These COVID vaccines are very much below average in effectiveness. I hope other scientists are doing proper vaccine research on COVID and that we will have a true EFFECTIVE shot (most vaccines take upwards of a decade to develop. Pfizer/Moderna/etc have been rushed out too soon, probably for political and financial reasons).

    3. Marmot – So how many healthy people have died in Canada? How many healthy people under the age of even 50? If it is safe and effective why does everyone pushing and making it require protection from liability? Of the people who died in Saskatchewan in August a third were fully vaxed. Would the have been much sicker without the vax? Why did they change from 14 to 21 days after the first jab to be considered as having your first dose active in Saskatchewan? Did to many die within the first 21 days so it disproved the Jab narrative? No one I would know to say hi to has died. I know of 16 people who had covid. Some were quite sick -60% were fully jabbed – 50/50 on the 2 most ill. The 2 people I know only through family connections who died (1 -60 , 1 in their 80s) were double and triple jabbed respectively. The facts are we truly have no way way to know if the whole program was in any way helpful. I choose to listen to the people who don’t seem to have a whole lot to gain or protect .

      1. I’ll respond to some that…

If it is safe and effective why does everyone pushing and making it require protection from liability?

There is not such thing as a perfectly safe vaccine. No epidemiologist or pharmaceutical company would ever claim that. The reason that pharmaceutical companies insist on liability insurance is because they can not guarantee complete safety, and triply so when the vaccine is rushed to market.

Of the people who died in Saskatchewan in August a third were fully vaxed. Would the have been much sicker without the vax?

Do you have a citation for that figure, but I can’t find it anywhere. Instead all I could find was that of the 100 patients being treated in hospital for COVID in Sask. at the end August, 97 were unvaccinated:

        https://regina.ctvnews.ca/saskatchewan-covid-19-icu-admissions-nearly-tripled-in-august-1.5568454

The facts are we truly have no way way to know if the whole program was in any way helpful.

We can not rerun history using a different strategy, no. But we can do research, and the research papers overwhelmingly testify to the effectiveness of vaccines. The vaccines are not perfect — they don’t prevent every case, and they often have side effects — but they help a lot.

    4. “Countless things have been predicted by thousands of experts, alleged experts, and complete non-experts, blah blah blah”

Classic misdirection, the predictions cited in the opening post were the key predictions endlessly regurgitated by the mainstream media/health experts/politicians/academics etc. Anyone who questioned them was immediately labelled “anti-science.”

“But by reading at least the abstracts of research papers, and the accounts of doctors and nurses in the hospitals treating patients, we can be confident on some points…”

That only thing we can be confident is that opinions you cited did not contradict the censorship machine and that those who expressed them said nothing that censors would deem controversial.

We cannot be certain about anything when data is being withheld, when side effects are brushed aside, when policy is determined by focus groups (of Karens) and when victims of police shootings are diagnosed as dead from covid.

Having said that the points you mention are generally correct, while purposefully imprecise in order to further your agenda.

      1 Should read:
“On rare occasions Wuhan Flu is a serious disease that can in extremely rare circumstances debilitate or kill even the young (almost never happens without them already being very very sick). The elderly and the unhealthy are by several orders of magnitude more vulnerable to it than healthy people”.

      2. Should read:
“The omicron strain is more contagious but less virulent than delta, delta was more contagious but less virulent than original strains, in other words, the virus evolves as predicted by anyone with a passing grade on virology 101”.

      3. Should read:
“While in the past vaccines decreased your chances of getting Wuhan Flu, those strains are by now extinct and vaccines are proving utterly useless at containing the dominant Xi (Omicron) strain, also their effectiveness against Delta was marginal.

      4. Should read:
“Vaccines used to potentially decrease your symptoms if you did get earlier strains of Wuhan Flu. The evidence that this effect is maintained re Omicron is not clear. Also see point 3”.

“I know many want to ….”

Drop the condescending tone when speaking to your betters.

    5. The majority of deaths attributed to COVID include one or more serious comorbidities. Those that allegedly didn’t were ones that they didn’t bother to check for any.
All people I know who had COVID were vaxed. Three barely knew they had it. Two were quite sick with one still not 100%.

The number of people affected are an insignificant percentage of the population. Check/search “AHS COVID statistics”, for example, if you don’t believe me. Sucks to get it but your chances of getting it are not that high to begin with.

    6. You’ve done an admirable job of backing up your comments with credible sources (at least, I assume your sources are credible. To be honest, I haven’t checked them out yet).

You’ve even given me a moment to pause and reflect… but only for a moment.

So you’ve peaked my curiosity, and thus I must ask you what do your sources say about adverse effects, and injuries, not to mention deaths, all attributable to the vaccines, both short and long term?

I’m honestly curious as to what your sources say on the matter. Not once in this entire thread did you even mention adverse effects, and to me, that’s telling. That’s the ONE MAIN REASON for which I avoid taking the junk in the first place.

I’ve seen way too many videos of people dropping like flies after taking their shots. So are your sources going to tell me not to believe my lying eyes?

      1. I too have seen videos of people dropping like flies. Pretty scary stuff. But god knows where those videos come from, and why they passed out. And there are some who pass out at the very thought of getting a needle.

Here’s a paper on the safety of the Pfizer vaccine carried out on 46,000 patients. Getting to the most serious result, 14 people in the placebo group and 15 in the vaccinated group died during the control period of 6 months, meaning no statistically significant difference in mortality. Whatever side effects the vaccine had, it didn’t seem to be fatal.

        https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2110345

If you can track down other credible-looking studies, please let me know.

        1. Remember when Astra Zeneca was safe? Or when Moderna boosters were safe for Ontarians under 25? Yeah the good old times. Goalposts they are a changin.

          1. Astra Zeneca produced blood clots at a rate of about 1 case in 250,000 in Canada. It seemed to be rarer in other jurisdictions, for reasons that are not clear. This would probably have been tolerable if it was the only vaccine available, but safer alternatives existed.

            https://www.bbc.com/news/health-59418123

The ability of medical researchers to correct and update their findings as new facts and research rolls in is a strength, not a weakness. It’s those institutions that hold onto beliefs even when new facts and research council otherwise we should fear, because they’re not doing science.

          2. “Astra Zeneca produced blood clots at a rate of about 1 case in 250,000 in Canada.”

And that is relying on heavily censored data.

“…correct and update their findings ….”

Such a nice euphemism for “we fucked up, you’re dead”

          3. The statistics might be wrong. It is very difficult to measure the statistical properties of extremely rare events. But the fact that it is extremely rare is well established.

You want perfectly safe and effective vaccines with big fat guarantees written on them? Sorry. Can’t have it. It doesn’t exist. The best we can do is weigh the risks between imperfect options.

But the best — really, the only — way we can sensibly weigh the options is to follow the science.

          4. “It is very difficult to measure the statistical properties of extremely rare events. ”

You mean like instances of Wuhan Flu related deaths among young healthy people?

Anyway, the problem is not measurement but carefully guarded data access. Guarded by governments or big pharma who are in bed with one another and have vested interest in making sure that only approved people access it.

          5. 1. I don’t have to know the precise rate to know that there are instances of young people dying from COVID.

            2. I didn’t say “young healthy people”. I said “the young.”

            3. “The young” doesn’t necessarily mean children.

          6. Bullshit pseudo points about nothing. All of them.

Try to process this simple fact:

Because the instances of young dying from Wuhan Flu are so rare* you can’t reliably conclude if vaccines are a net benefit for them.

            There, got it?

It may well be that if young are healthy they are being harmed (not necessarily killed) by vaccines. That’s the problem with the vaccine fixation that you and governments are suffering from. You’re optimizing on one variable not carrying how much harm you do elsewhere. And yes, I purposefully say “you” as you are carrying water for them.

*8 under twenty died in all of Ontario with (not from) Wuhan Flu, you can’t run inference on that sample even if you knew the relevant covariates.

          7. Had you had been paying attention, you would have noticed that I offered no opinion about whether children should get vaccinated. That was all an invention of your fevered imagination.

But I do enjoy watching the seething hatred you display against those who have different views than you. You seem to despise those you disagree with, and are quick to group them with others you seem to despise. The idea of simply debating an issue does not seem to be on the menu.

          8. “…you would have noticed that I offered no opinion about whether children should get vaccinated…”

Yes I’ve noticed you were pussyfooting on this, that is why I brought it up. Hey, if you’re willing to fellate the enemy why stop before you get the full mouthful?

“But I do enjoy watching the seething hatred you display against those who have different views than you. ”

I haven’t gotten warmed up yet. And yes, I consider you, and scum like you, the enemy that ought to be called on their scumbagigness. You mindlessly parrot the MSM propaganda and pretending that you trust the science. You do not understand, you blindly believe. You’re a low IQ fanatic regurgitating the doctrine du jeur and are utterly incapable of thinking critically.

            Polly wants a cracker?

We have always been at war with East Asia.

          9. “And yes, I consider you, and scum like you, the enemy that ought to be called on their scumbagigness.”

Kate had something to say about this recently. She said that those who react with hatred against ideas they disagree with often do so because they realize how shaky the foundations are for their own beliefs.

          1. I am not undermining the source you have posted, but disagree with the way you phrase the question.

“Do the vaccines decrease or increase all-cause mortality? That’s what really matters.”

Nope, the correct question is “For what groups, for what segments of population based on age, medical condition etc, do the vaccines decrease or increase all-cause mortality and other medical consequences?” That is a very important distinction. Vaccinating all children may for example reduce overall mortality while simultaneously increasing the mortality among children. So the state decides that it is ok to sacrifice some children for the greater good. Fuck that. Do you know any parent who would agree to that? Informed consent my hairy ass.

        2. Therefore by the paper’s own admission, 15 people out of 48000 died after being administered the vaccine.

Would you consider that safe? Because there appears to be a consensus among the detractors that say otherwise.

“Statistically insignificant” is the proponents way of sweeping embarrassing results under the rug.

Latest openVAERS data shows over 20,000 deaths, granted that by now billions of doses have been administered, yet, there is also no denial that this one vaccine has caused more death and injuries than all the other vaccines combined over the past 30 years.

If I’m lying, then you can use your sources to prove it.

          1. Statistics are the only tool that’s going reveal the truth, so you may as well get comfortable with it.

The problem with such large-scale studies is that some of the subjects are going to die even if the vaccine is nothing but distilled water. The vaccine doesn’t protect against strokes, heart attacks, or getting run over by a bus. So how do we tell if the vaccine actually CAUSED a death? By comparing the results to a control group who were given a placebo, and comparing the number of deaths.

But suppose 14 die in the control group and 15 die in the vaccinated group. Is that convincing evidence that the vaccine can be lethal? That’s where an introductory course in statistics is needed, but the simple answer is no, it is not convincing evidence. It can easily be the result of random chance.

          2. The VAERS dataset does not show fatalities caused by vaccination. It shows fatalities (and many other afflictions) after vaccination. The site itself warns against confusing the two…

VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused a health problem, but is especially useful for detecting unusual or unexpected patterns of adverse event reporting that might indicate a possible safety problem with a vaccine.

In short, it’s information that’s intended to suggest where researchers should direct their studies, but in itself is not evidence of cause and effect. It’s a blatant misuse of the database to present it as such.

    7. Rodent.

In rebuttal to your Liberal talking points. Yer boss… is uh, Gerry Butts..??

Meh, just another mouthpiece spewing disinformation … in a long line of them since 2015, and over Covid, Jan 2020 UnMe, Allen S, DJ, Gabrielle you….and a few I’ve forgotten…

      So….

The jabs are NOT vaccines whatsoever. Pfizer themselves came out stating they were “treatments” to reduce the severity of symptoms…. But your superiors & their msm propagandists pushed the utter lie of a “Vaccine” (to prevent – cure – & fully immunize once said Herd was 70+% vaxxed..right?)…and like trained seals, the Herd jumped on their seeming Salvation.

You, along with your predecessors & the Herd, bought into said lie hook line n sinker.

We now know that was total 100% Bullshit….no cure, no immunity & zero prevention.

As an aside, you do know that Influenza A/B, Seasonal Flu and the Common Cold are De-Facto “corona viruses..?? And that RT PCR is completely INCAPABLE of discerning between ANY corona virus.

      You’ve been HAD…

I pity fools such as you Rodent…not knowing when you’re heart is going to implode, or your veins/arteries become clogged with blood clots….sad really, but, then I have zero sympathy for NAZI FILTH spewing propaganda either…

So, off you go sonny, take your bag of LIBERAL BULLSHIT with you, get a BOOSTER and “enjoy” your personal decline.

      1. I had no idea that ignoring what the politicians and press had to say, and investigating what the scientists and health professionals on the ground were saying, was, in your quaint phrasing, LIBERAL BULLSHIT.

I thought it was what allowed me to avoid stepping in LIBERAL BULLSHIT. And any other type of bullshit.

But I can see that reading opinions that you disagree with upsets you, so I’ll let you be.

You do know Kate McMillan’s vaccinated, right?

          1. I can see you are having trouble refuting my claims, so you’re veering off into topics that weren’t even brought up here — not by me, not by anybody.

Go ahead. Talk about it. Knock yourself out. I might even agree with you.

          2. No, my point goes directly to the credibility of your sources. For medical professionals there are only two options re Wuhan Flu: obey or purge. Hence the opinions you “investigate” are created in an echo chamber, that is what the linked video is about.

          3. So you claim that there’s an institutional bias against papers that produce the “wrong” results, and thus any published paper is automatically suspect.

Oooookay. Pretty hard to do that. There are countless journals out there, and none of them much like being told how to do their job. Some are pretty proud of their objectivity and independence. You would think there would be some outlet for well-researched and written papers that ran counter to the mainstream. In fact, I can guarantee that there would be.

But even if you were right about that, where would that leave you? How would you prove me wrong?

          4. “Pretty hard to do that. ”

No not hard at all. See environmental science as a perfect example of that.

In any case the Holly Grail of refereed papers argument works only with those who are not familiar with the process. Every year thousands of papers are retracted. I have seen professors dumping refereed jobs on their grad students and then blindly signing off on it. I have seen referees being successfully challenged. I have seen papers rejected from lower ranked journals only to be published in higher ranked journals. I have seen papers with negative reviews published despite referees’ objections because editor felt otherwise. I’ve seen editors “shopping” for referees whom, the editors felt, would produce a desired review. And that is just mainstream western journals. What is happening outside of mainstream (but still refereed) is even more ridiculous at times. I have literarily seen offers from journals to publish something with them, offers going as far as offering the potential author a position of an associate editor only if they agree to have their work published. The process is far from flawless. And when it comes to politically sensitive issues, the process is often very corrupt. You want grants? Guess who pays them? Either governments of big pharma. You want to get published? You want another grant? You want access to data? Better don’t step on any sore toes.

          5. Unable to produce facts or scientific papers to back up your arguments, you’re left with trying to claim that the existing papers are all biased and corrupt.

You’ve created a hermetically sealed universe, impervious to any facts or research that might run counter to your beliefs.

          6. Yawn, give me the raw data and I will run the analysis myself. Make the data publicly available. All of it, age, sex, health conditions, race, I want those variables for vaccine side effects (or their lack off including when side effects were reported but brushed aside) and for Wuhan Flu infections. I will make my code public. Until then, all we see is the results of those studies that we cannot verify and know nothing about data collection.

In short, we’re being fed beef lo mein in a Chinese restaurant, by a smiling waiter with bad teeth and band English, and there are multiple unrelated dog tails sticking out of the bucket at the back.

Also, don’t even try talking to me about clinical studies with no external validity. The fact that these are still run and used as source, when data on majority of population is available to the state, should tell you a lot by itself.

          7. Show me one study that uses public access data and does what I have outlined above? If you can’t find a study then just a data set. Go on, should be easy for you… or do you just like to skim abstracts that fit your agenda, Mr Refereed Papers?

          8. Nope, close but no cigar. I am well familiar with that link. I asked for a very specific set of variables. I don’t need a human centipede of research.

          9. Guess what then. You’re going to have to seek out open sources of data yourself. That’s life as a researcher. I’m not going to do your work for you.

But many papers make their data available, so have at ‘er.

          10. So in other words you got nothing but claim it exists?
Unsurprising. I am done here. You can have the last word.

          11. Holy crap, you need everything delivered on a silver platter, don’t you? You surely are a waste of time.

  4. They promised the moon, and reality hit the wall, so they are doubling down, tripling down etc…

Follow the science….ya right, the science keeps changing, minute by minute.

  5. It’s my understanding that kids are basically immune unless they have some underlying co-morbitity such as the little boy who had had terminal brain cancer in Alberta and died “with” Covid.

Childhood obesity is also a factor.

And…this isn’t very nice, but…parental neglect? Leaving the child with symptomatic Covid for so long that by the time they take them in it’s deadly?

    1. “And…this isn’t very nice, but…parental neglect? Leaving the child with symptomatic Covid for so long that by the time they take them in it’s deadly?”

In fairness, that’s what the health authorities tell them to do.

    1. The testimonials write themselves:

“I can’t believe she’s gone! She had just celebrated her 8th booster shot with her 8 grandchildren last Wednesday. Thank God for the life-saving vaccines; without them, her death would have been so much worse.”

  6. “This level of credulity leaves me wondering how the entire country has not already lost its savings in some internet scam.”

Someone should brief the poor man on the scam that is fractional-reserve banking.

  7. Same people that want us to “remember” that it was the Republicans that wanted to “defund the police” and “tax and spend” us into oblivion.

  8. One big problem is that the omnicron freakout has caused already short-staffed hospitals and urgent care facilities being overrun by panicked people who have no need to be there. Where I live I know of urgent care facilities which will stop accepting new patients hours before closing time and hospitals which are begging people who are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms that could be Wuflu not to show up at the ER and if they do they’ll either be politely told sorry, go get tested somewhere else or if they’re willing to stick around they’re going to be way at the bottom of the priority list and waiting a very long time. Of course, now testing sites are being overrun.

As an aside, earlier today I ran to a local convenience store and of the dozen or so customers nearly everyone was buying booze. Another hunker down NYE incoming.

    1. Alcohol sales at convienence stores? The horror. Luckily our provincial government has protected us from such vulgar displays of convienence and only allows us to purchase from the safety of the state run monopoly.

      1. In some states people can fill up their cars, go inside the gas station, and buy the airplane-sized bottles of liquor at the checkout counter.

In the state where I live, spirits have to be purchased at state-run stores. The rest of it is largely taken care of by the private sector. And back when restaurants were largely doing takeout because of WuFlu the state government allowed places to offer cocktails to go, which is still in effect.

  9. South korea has a vaxx rate of 98% and they now have the highest death rate ever. They’re all less severe deaths obviously though.

    1. Right you are……and their death rate is about four times higher than the earlier peak a year ago.

  10. Totally off topic (well, maybe not totally)….but it occurred to me that there are a number of countries and at least one US state that have what they call a “Death With DIgnity” Act. Essentially, it’s overmedicating someone in an effort to commit suicide. So, how does that mentality jive with the forced Covid restrictions and mandated behavior. It seems that they have legislated legalized suicide. So, a lesser degree of that would be to submit yourself to potential exposure of a disease that has a very low chance of killing you. The choice (as they say) is yours.

It seems to me that these two scenarios are diametrically opposed.

  11. From KM
    “…including sometimes their brains.”
Ladies and gentlemen please. This is a tell. Disengage.

  12. Killer Marmot is certainly retarded and he’s one of the smart sheeple. Meaning he’ll be near the back of the government abattoir line.

My whole family is bragging about their boosters.
Guess they’ll never see me again.

    1. ” Guess they’ll never see me again.”

I said that to one relative many years ago.
Well he made a liar out of me.
I did see him years later at his funeral.

    2. The retarded guy is willing to debate you on the issues, Buddy. But I will cite statistics and research papers, so you had better come prepared. You wouldn’t want to lose to a retard.

    1. Did they survey on that page. 75% are losing their fear of COVID. Still have 25% sheeple that bleat for more lockdowns.

    2. You know why the testing is changing, vaxxed overtaking the unvaxxed, simply must be covered up. When hospitalizations (rare) overtake, that will be measured in a new way also. This is not about protecting health, this is about protecting bureaucrats and pfizer.

    1. Yes I believe so. Rumor has it, they were starring in a German film alongside Wolfie the German Sheppard. They were never 100% positively identified due to the full (well almost full) leather outfits they were wearing.

      1. I’ll never get that image out of my mind. Might need to go MAiD because of it. No, a shot of rye whisky will take care of it.

    2. Do you want to debate me on the substance of my claims? Do you have the courage? Or would you rather throw out insults?

      1. South Korea 98% vaccinated and highest deaths ever. Majority of deaths are in fully vaccinated. So tell us great marmott, were the vaxxed deaths less severe? Doe that mean the vaxx is working? Seems like it to me. I always expect that vaccines for polio for example would lead to increased cases, deaths and disease. That’s how vaccines work right?

        1. “Great marmot”? The first thing you can do is knock off the snotty tone of voice.

South Korea, a densely populated country of 52 million that should have been a hotbed of COVID infection and death, has suffered only 5500 COVID-related deaths. In comparison, Canada with 38 million people suffered 30,000 deaths, which was in turn much better than the U.S. on a per capita basis.

That is near miraculous. It would be interesting to know how much that the high vaccination rate had to do with it. Perhaps they achieved near herd immunity when the COVID strains were most dangerous.

How does this have anything to do with my four points I listed above?

          1. Of course we all know the numbers in Canada are bogus, just like Italy and the US, fake fake fake.

          2. Of course we all know the numbers in Canada are bogus, just like Italy and the US, fake fake fake.

If you believe they’re fake, what data are you drawing your conclusions about COVID from?

  13. The best news of the year is Quebec is going back on curfew and this time it’s permanent. I propose all quebecers be quarantined in their province permanently. It’d solve a lot of problems for the rest of Canada.

  14. The jabs are dangerous and frequently fail to protect.
Horse dewormer and vitamin D are cheaper, safer and more effective.

  15. Well I tried to ignore this;
“This level of credulity leaves me wondering how the entire country has not already lost its savings in some internet scam.”
Umm.. Way prior to internet scams did Canada sell its children yet unborn into slavery.
All for the empty promise of a free lunch.
    Free Government run healthcare.
A “Charter of Rights and Freedoms”.

Our current (And past) levels of indebtedness show we lost our savings long ago..
We have been stealing from each other for decades now,Robbing Peter to pay Paul, then stealing from Paul to bribe Peter,to the extent that there has been no logical point in being a productive citizen.
So we stopped and the Debt rolls on.
We have nothing and can expect nothing good in the future.
Part of the reason Dread Covid looks like a scheme to knock a whole bunch of old people off of the welfare/pension rolls,is the fact that government cannot honour their promises made to these people when they were robbing them blind.
So government needs to exterminate their debt holders..cause they can’t pay .
Which is why it is easier to get killed ,legally, by a Government Doctor, than it is to get medical care.

So Canada cannot lose their savings to an internet scam.
They have already lost them to our professional grifters.
    The Parasitic Overload.

The next part will be interesting.
“You will have nothing and you will like it”
How will the “You will like it” bit be packaged?
The old “It could be worse”?
“It woulda been worse without our idiotic actions”?
Or “War”,you must tighten your belt as a true patriot and serve even harder the same fools and bandits who brought you to domestic poverty?
The herd is about to be stampeded.
The question is who gets stompt this time?
Will Madame Guillotine sign for you?

Really it is up to each of us.
Ditch the Fear, for it is the only tool our so called helpers have.

Government has exactly and only the power and authority you grant it.
When the minions act as bandits..They are bandits..There are no special rules for Minions of The State.

    The institutions are infested.
Burn Loot Murder is their way.

  16. “…leaves me wondering how the entire country has not already lost its savings in some internet scam ”

Much of the entire country has lost savings it doesn’t even have in some scam called government. See the national debt.
