I just flew from California to Illinois with a stop in Salt Lake. Planes are full. No one gives a sh*t. It’s over, the media hasn’t figured that out yet.
They’re still wearing masks on the plane though.
As soon as they’re not required 70-80% will take them off. Most people just want to get to where they’re going.
I know that but why not start now? I’m going to the Carribean in March and I won’t be masking on the plane. I’ll have a bottle of water on the go at all times.
Probably depends on the airline. United and Delta both said you need to immediately cover your face after taking a drink or eating but I haven’t seen any follow up in a while. You just risk continuing on your trip if you don’t want to wear the mask.
I did that lots of times while I was still flying to and from my house. I made sure to make it last as I wanted to have as much freedom during a flight as I could.
The good news in this story is that no one will miss any of it. I sure hope the millionaire players and their Corporate boss’s make it through their mild flu like symptoms during this annual flu season.
Im now old enough to remember when men played professional Hockey, the good old days.

Frankly the whole sideshow should be canceled.

It would be a minimal recourse to cancel the Olympics.
If the NHL players NOT going to the Olympics is the beginning of the death knell for the Olympics, that will be “sad”. It will be “sad” for the athletes but they can compete in the World Championships, which hopefully, are less corrupt than the Olympics. Fi
But for all of the corrupt officials and the bloated administration of the Olympics, I could care less.
If you told people 20 years ago that the Olympics would be hosted by a country that used slave labour, harvested the organs of political prisoners and deliberately spread a deadly disease throughout the world that resulted in millions of deaths you would have been called crazy.
It’s the NHL’s own fault for doing so much testing of people that aren’t sick. The same goes for anybody demanding more testing of asymptomatic people. Asymptomatic “cases” are medically irrelevant, and only fuel for perpetuating the tyranny. Tyler Bertuzzi is the one calling out that the Emperor has no clothes. How can all those vaccinated people have covid if they’re vaccinated?
You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means.
As Arty alludes to above, imagine boycotting the Cold Panda Olympics because of a flu, but NOT boycotting the Cold Panda Olympics because of slavery, torture, communism, biological warfare… or openly threatening to destroy the US.
At times like these, I am left to wonder if western culture any longer has what it takes to survive.
After reading the first few comments, I see quite a lot of folks are ok with segregation. The only way you can fly is with the vax passport. I am sorry but that is my red line in the sand. In the States it used to be no blacks allowed, in 1932 it became no Jews allowed after Hitler brought out his Arayan passport. There are a lot of selfish folks out there. Everyone should be fighting the vax passport instead of falling in line like sheep and using it. I have no use for folks like that. Sorry, it is because you won’t stand up against it that we are in the trouble we are in. Have a good day.
