A CBC Alberta pundit who critiqued a news story he never read breached the network’s own code of conduct, an ombudsman said yesterday. Max Fawcett had libeled Blacklock’s as “shamelessly dishonest” in publishing a carbon tax story he did not read: “Yes, there was a violation.”
I’m sure they sent him for “ethics” training, at some posh resort, fully paid for by the taxpayers, and he solemnly promised to never libel blacklock’s over that particular story again….
To be clear, Max Fawcett is a paid shill*. He does nothing but troll the energy industry. He is not even remotely a journalist, but then again, what ‘journalists’ are anymore. However, as low as most of them are these days, he is even lower.
Don’t waste your time reading anything he writes, you won’t learn anything and will only be lessened by the experience.
*when I say paid, I mean check his funding, he sucks up big green money right along with all the other enviro prostitutes out there.
