Sun- With friends like Joe Biden, Canada doesn’t need enemies
If last week’s trip to Washington by the Trudeau government was a success, I’d hate to see what they consider a failure. Since returning from the U.S. capital the Americans have banned P.E.I. potatoes, doubled the duty on softwood lumber and passed the legislation Trudeau wanted to stop, through the House.
Despite the facts in front of them, the Liberals think things are going great.
“We can say it’s a success,” Foreign Minister Melanie Joly said at the end of the Washington trip.
Up is down, good is bad, true is false, failure is success…
When leftists get together … all is good. Even when it has gone horribly wrong.
It’s like celebrating the removal of your breasts … because you think you’re a dude.
Not even sure how to comment on stories like this or for that matter, the Liberals in general anymore. Lol maybe?? We’re no longer led by serious people nor are we a serious country.
Of course it was a success: you got a junket in which your fancy hotel room (obviously you weren’t going to be staying at a Holiday Inn), and your wining and dining (obviously not at the local Denny’s or a neighborhood joint where the house wine can be found at a nearby DC Safeway’s wine section) were paid for by the taxpayers, you attended meetings where everything discussed had already been worked out in advance, you got special security details, and you felt you were important when in reality most of official DC didn’t give a flying fig you were all there.
Ah, the joys of entitling your entitlements…..
What the hell does he care? canadians are too stupid to know the difference…after all they’re stupid enough to vote for him in the first place.
Of course in the Canadian system a party can get 10% of the votes and not a single seat in the house. Our voting system weeds out alternative voices very efficiently and therefore reinforces uniformity. Just ask Max.
PEI potatoes are used a lot for seed. Banning high quality blight free potatoes is one more step in the effort to towards starving Americans.
Keep in mind Melanie Joly is in the same intellectual category as Climate/Infrastructure Barbie, i.e. barely a midwit, like the rest of the cabinet. Call her Travel Barbie.
Lumber, potatoes — Judas Joe Biden sure is worried about Canadian products. Meanwhile, every damn thing you pick up in a WalMart or Target or anywhere says “Made In China.” China is becoming the bully of the world, and we (the U.S.) are financing it. But Judas Joe has his priorities, I guess.
Joe gets a cut of most of that China crap. I don’t think his drug addled offspring has any dealings in Canada
So now PEI learns what it’s like to live in Alberta.
However, considering that the majority of the PEI potatoe production is controlled by McCains (big liberal donor) I’m surprised this was allowed to happen.
Ah well, perhaps it’s past due that some of the liberals own start to feel the effects of Trudeau policy.
That being said, it’s wise to remember that politics is the art of compromise and the poorer the character of the politicians enables corruption to go unchecked. So it won’t matter who is in government if everyone in government is trying to be like Justin Trudeau.
It’s going to be a cluster fudge and they will claim success.
I don’t think the PEI potato ban applies to processed potatoes. So McCain can buy cheap PEI potatoes and sell us french fries.
When Liberals get sodomized they call it a success because they enjoy taking it up the ass.
Well, when your political agenda is to destroy an economy, destroy the middle class and those working hard to join it, replace the population, destroy the history of a country transforming it into a “Post Nation State” then everything is going just as planned… thats why corrupt Liberals and their Corporate Media ass washers are so happy with these results.
Remember Liberals and their Media hate Canada, hate Canadians, “the FIRST post nation State”… they mean it.
