In my town … that flag qualifies as a “Banner” … which is defined as a “temporary sign” … not a permanent defacement or signage. Seems that should apply here too

I’m a pretty staunch conservative and I see the coarsening of society as a problem. Minutes ago, I entered a store and was immediately told to “put on a mask” – so I donned my crow-like plague mask to accommodate. It does nothing health-wise, but it does successfully mock stupid gov’t rules. At the same time, I noticed a young aboriginal woman in front of me, wearing a black West Coast brand hoodie with the words ‘Motherf….er’ in bold white print and I definitely found it offensive.
It offends me because it serves no greater purpose. Nor does F… Cancer which I see on lots of cars, nor F… Trudeau. It does not advance a cause. It does nothing other than to offend ‘normies’ who might otherwise be open to conservative ideas and principles.
I think ” Let’s go Bongo” would be appropriate.
