  1. Here’s another science fiction flick, Moon Zero Two:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEftsDL4Shc

It stars James Olson (The Andromeda Strain) and Catherine Schell (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, The Return of the Pink Panther, Space: 1999).

It’s a Hammer Films production, and it’s an unusual departure for that studio. It started making conventional movies but became well-known for its horror flicks, many of which featured Sir Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing.

It was billed as a “space western” and it’s not as bad as some comments on IMDB would lead one to believe.

    1. If you like moon based flicks, there is a delightful 1960s one called ” The First Men IN the Moon ”
It’s was made before man landed on the moon and is quite realistic for its time before Kubricks’ ” 2001 , A Space Odyssey ” would upstage it.
It had a whimsical Victorian vibe to it.
It starred Lionel Jeffries from the equally fun ” Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang “.
      Very entertaining.

      1. That movies is pretty faithfully based on the HG Wells story of the same name. I read it as a kid, even had the comic.

      2. It’s been years since I saw that one. The great Ray Harryhausen was a producer, by the way.

  2. Quelle surprise:

B.C. emissions going up — despite carbon tax
    https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/sims-b-c-emissions-going-up-despite-carbon-tax

What I want to know is if all the damned BC smoke Albertans have been inhaling during forest fire season is included in the emissions count, and if not, why not? I’d also like to know if we can sue the bastards for it.

    Quelle surprise, too:

I don’t really need an expert to tell me this:

Can’t have any opposition to the narrative now, can we…

    1. Oh how I wish ” The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy ” were real just now.
The Volgons could be smashing the Earth paving the way for the intergalactic highway.
And the sheeple would be blissfully unaware , sipping their morning coffee.

      Sigh.

      1. And, of course, we could put all the useless people (e. g., marketing executives, telephone sanitizers) on an ark to nowhere.

Be on the lookout for dolphins signalling “So long and thanks for all the fish” to us…..

      1. Precisely. Why would you spoil your holidays by intentionally exposing yourself to that sort of rubric?

    1. Considering the relatives of some people, it might not be entirely a bad thing.

    2. Yep…I’m definitely in that Category…Excommunicated for two reasons:

1: Tin Foil Hatter – I dared to listen to (and agree 100% w/) alternative views…like those “Certifiably INSANE 60,000+ Morons” of the Barrington Declaration et all….and many Non Govt Drs. Ryan Cole, Lee Merritt, Tenpenny, Delores Cahill Drs Hoffe – Trozzi – Hodgkinson and Judy Mikovits – all Looney Tunes of course….

2: Am proudly UnVaxxed…with most likely, pre-existing Immunity
      I Call that FREE.

And so it goes….I have my circle of friends, all of whom are all unvaxxed….Family..?? they can kiss my ass….to them I’m just a modern day leper.

      1. We have family that has been forced to get the jab against their wishes due to employment. They were just not in a position to fight. We will be together for Christmas.
My jabbed sibs disowned us awhile ago when I started putting out info from the Frontline doctors, and Barrington declaration, and others. They continue to watch CNN and CBC. Some might phone at Christmas, or not. Meh

  3. Caught an interesting video about the scourge of big government in Argentina:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-e_IfN6LFvM

The video does not explore the huge overspending outside of the politicians and staff, nor does it stress the continuing inflation in that once prosperous country. Inflation for the past number of years has averaged around 45-50% a year.

But the video does stress the increasing mal-distribution of income between the politicians and the poor. One wonders, with the shutdowns and inflation, whether or not Canada will turn into another Argentina.

    1. Good video, thanks. Unlike every other country in Latin America (except for its mini-me, Uruguay) Argentina has a white-majority population, of mostly Italian and Spanish descent. It’s also a huge, temperate-zone country naturally rich in just about everything. In the 1920s it was one the wealthiest nations in the world, but a hundred years later it’s just another third world basketcase, a sad legacy of Peronism, Kirchnerism, socialism, autarky and other retarded ideologies.

Today there are mid-term elections in Argentina. The political class there is quaking in its boots because for the first time since the military dictatorship ended in 1983 an “extreme right” politician is poised to enter congress. Javier Milei (the Trump of the Pampas?) is actually more of a right-wing libertarian, but he scares them nonetheless.

      https://batimes.com.ar/news/argentina/milei-the-ultra-liberal-vows-to-do-away-with-argentinas-political-caste.phtml

A country that has been so misruled for the past 90 years obviously can’t be turned around on a dime, but the fact that it has a high quality population living on an excellent piece of territory bodes well for the future, if only they can finally get the politics right. If Javier Milei or someone ideologically aligned with him is elected president 2 years from now, then I would be more bullish about Argentina’s future than I am about Canada’s. We need our own Trump of the Tundra.

      1. Even through all 90 plus years of evil, the Argentinians did one thing right.
        They didn’t import ” diversity ” .
They may still be able to right their ship.
I worked with a gentleman who left there in the early ’80s to get away from that and arrived here thinking Canada would be a bastion of freedom.
I wonder what he thinks about that now.

        1. Unfortunately there has been a sizeable influx of mestizos from Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru into Argentina in recent decades. But the flow has been much smaller than the immigration flood pouring into Canada, and the people more culturally compatible with the existing Argentine population than the racial, religious and linguistic aliens invading our country.

    1. Its always people with their own personal sniper details trying to ban guns, isn’t it?
      These people make me sick.

Dr. Fauci Just Issued This Urgent Warning to Vaccinated People

    https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/dr-fauci-just-issued-urgent-201846228.html
    hat tip – https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/11/dr-fauci-admits-vaccines-not-work-advertised-vaccinated-great-danger-today/

“They are seeing a waning of immunity not only against infection but against hospitalization and to some extent death,…”
As a result of these findings, Fauci warned that vaccinated people should get their booster shot, …

The need for boosters doesn’t mean that the vaccines don’t work, however. On the contrary, Fauci stressed that he does not think that “we’ve given the full rein to prove what it is that you need to make them work,” like additional doses. According to the virus expert, researchers did not “have to time” to do extensive studies to determine whether two doses would be better than three, as there was a pressing need to get vaccines out to people sooner rather than later, which was “life-saving for millions of people,” he noted.

      1. Come now.
Its Safe and Effective…and very dangerous, so you need Safe and Effective boosters.
Gotta love how they’re selling the vaxxed on their 3rd, 4th or 5th shot, while telling the unvaxxed that the 1st and second shots are Safe and Effective.
At this point, they’re pushers, not dealers.
        God damn the pusher man!
Steppenwolf had it right, all those years ago.

  6. Some good news for the Anti VAX Mandates;

Seems the Rebel crowdfunded a group of flight attendants to get their UNION Leaders to represent THEM….and now CUPE has buckled under and will in fact file a grievance against the NAZI Filth pushing this shit at Air Canada.

A step in the right direction IMO.
Any UNION that does not REPRESENT their members needs to be KeelHauled…tarred n feathered etc.

    VAX Mandates are PURE NAZI’ism.
