Aye. There is no shortage of arseholes who need to flog their superiority complex. A majority of them have to hector us about what’s in the headlines because they lack the intellectual depth and meaningful experience to lecture us about anything arrived at by independent thought, personal trials, or rigorous study.

If everyone is a victim of something, then no one is a victim.
I had a friend in university whose parents (mother 14, father 16) met in a concentration camp. They were the only ones to survive as they had only been there 18-24 months (not sure of time) before the Allies liberated the camps. The younger and older members of their families died early on. As you can imagine, Yom Kippur was NOT a pleasant remembrance.
But her parents moved to Canada, worked in retail and her father started a well-respected furniture store in Winnipeg. He banned strudel and German cars from the household. They were true “victims” but they did not let the awful times define them.
Revenge on the Nazi’s was to marry, have children and have grand children.
Seeing the people highlighted in this story, it’s easy to sympathize with motives behind the killing fields and the Chinese cultural revolution. That these woke rich poseurs deserve any waste of attention span is a question that can only be answered in terms of indisputable evidence of cultural derangement. They are not creatures of the (99.9%) real world but instead privileged human props used to garner the attention of their fawning Eloi for the purpose of advancing post modern nihilism, hollowing out the west to be fodder for the Marxist tyrannies in waiting. What better way to atone for their guilt of riches and position than to seek to destroy the system that allowed it.
