  1. Why don’t they publish: ‘Sorry, I’m out of superlatives’. Crying wolf for two years has exhausted the claims made about many things.

      1. No, it’s a cold. Flu vaccines work on 3 or 4 of the 20 or so strains that go around every year (there’s an annual guessing game “which strains should be in the vaccine?” that often miss the biggest spreader). The cold virus used as the basis for this bio-weapon is a corona-virus that usually gives someone a mild cold. They’re usually fast mutating so a vaccine made of dead virus particles isn’t effective.

        But your point is a good one.

  2. The worst cold ever? It’s called “ADE” last I checked. Hahahahaha, I got it, my kids got it, my wife got it. No one in bed, one bad night for me. Going running today. Missed a few sessions of track. That’s about it.

    Oh, I am unvaxxed. If you are taking the mRNA, you’re basically fucked. Guys like me are going to carrying the whole office while you cupid stunts are in bed for two weeks yet again with another cold or the flu.

  3. Maybe because the Delta is weaker than the original, but more contagious, and the powers to be want to cover it up and pass it off as a cold/flu?

    1. Exactly. Isn’t that what Dr. Ryan Cole said in the video linked to yesterday? Runny nose is now a symptom.

      Just when you thought they couldn’t come up with another eye and hair raising, conflating, false, demonstrably moronic – higher prices mean we spend more; crash retreats are successful airlifts – economically, mathematically, scientifically illiterate and innumerate non sequitur brush off quip, on timely and serious matters – they pull another arrow out of their disinformation duplicity quiver.

      Their eye is not on the ball of public welfare, it’s why they drop it all the time, fixated on the scoreboard. Lord, deliver us from tyrants.

    1. Oh, I have noticed that too. Far flung publications all coming out, on the same day, with the same terminology, same observations.

  5. Actually, it went through our work-at-home house over the last two weeks – 4 adults each, down for a full day during the worst of it, overall we each had sore throat, running tap nose and chest cough in progression for about 3-4 days. It was bad.

    I had a negative COVID antibody test 6 months ago. Going to get another one in a month to see if it really was a cold or a softened variant of THE BIG ONE.

    (also, we are a household of dirty vermin non-vaxxed sub humans)

      1. I wonder why you guys would want an Anti Body test. From all Ive read, anti bodies last maybe 6 months..and start to decline in number as soon as one gets well. I would think that T- Cell serology would be a far more meanigfull “test” and Proof that one has Natural Immunity.??

      2. Asked my doc. She said sure, it’s $75 out of pocket if you don’t mind that.

        I don’t think a T-cell test is available, so working on the assumption that if I have the antibodies one month after then the T-cells will be all set and ready.

    Going forward we are going to hear more and more stories of vaccinated old people dying of COVID breakthroughs. The Saskatchewan Health Floaters are going to blame the unvaccinated to cover their asses. Typical government action.

      1. I don’t hit the d as hard but that is part of my daily routine, all four of them, with a few others mixed in, in small doses.

  7. I have my 10 year old home with a cold. Had him Covid tested on Saturday before his visit with the grands. Negative. I have a scratchy throat slight runny nose.

    The daily health analysis my high schooler must complete before heading out just changed its wording to say, along with the normal Covid symptoms, a runny nose is also reason to stay home now.

    This the day after a relative was evacuated from his remote Nunavut job by private flight to southern Ontario after testing positive after an exposure at remote job…where they are all vacxed. He has….a runny nose.

    1. Had some experience with the above only two weeks into the school year. Two grandkids with a runny nose – leave school and get tested before you can go back. Test results took over a week. Negative (the family knew it was allergies).
      So, they missed 7 days of school and the teachers could not be bothered to send home any material for study ( it was too early in the school year). How much instructional time are children going to lose this school year if a cough or a sneeze gets them sent home? BTW, I can get a test at Shoppers and have the results back in less than 24 hours. Granted, you are paying $150 for the “privilege” but what is the excuse for tests as above taking so long?

      1. Same thing happened with our 6 years old granddaughter; she was sent home with a runny nose. As a registered business owner, our daughter got free rapid tests from her local Chamber of Commerce. Those will make it easier (faster) for her to send her daughter back to school if she’s sent home again. I only heard about this because she asked us if we needed Lysol wipes. The CoC is giving them away with the rapid test kits.

        1. Our Walmart is the same. Twice the price at Shoppers Drug mart. Speaking of SDM, I noticed they are pushing the flu vaccine this year. Couldn’t find one last year if you tried.

          1. $19.97 erases all the worry and awkwardness from the situation, like magic. It also clears me of any “daughter-in-law with murderous intentions” designations others may want to label me with.

            Worth every penny.

  9. My daughter who is a nurse got through a recent bout with severe headaches, vomiting and bad muscle aches for about 3 days. Covid test was negative. Doubled vaxxed.

        1. Quite so RN; I understand there are three families of viruses that are responsible for colds and flue; rhino and corona being two of them; forget the third. they all mutate all the time.

  11. Could it be that after 18 months of hiding away and not being exposed to other pathogens, our immune systems weaken? This super-cold may just be a run of the mill rhinovirus, but our immune systems have forgotten what to do with?

    1. Many commenters here (myself included) have been saying as much since this all began. The rise of super-bugs comes as no surprise to us.

    2. Your immune system weakens when you have not provided it with any pathogens to work with…the INSANITY of Sanitizing ones hands everywhere you go is a real good reason. It is Counter Productive 100%.

      I can say, other than going to see my Dr for yearly exam, and going to the lab for blood work, have not used that shit once. When I go grocery shopping, I make sure I use a USED cart or USED hand held…Bring on those Dastardly germs..!! hell, I’ve even been know to lick my fingers from time to time.

      Pure counter-intelligent mass idiocy over what is to me a 2 bit virus where at least 85-90% of us are already IMMUNE to.

    4. Well duh as they used to say. Exactly, people have been holed up for 20 months and their immune systems haven’t been exercised. Consequently any upper respiratory tract infection will be the “worst evah!” cold, flu, whatever.

  12. My neighbor has been sick with a cold for two months, he’s tried different prescription drugs but nothing has worked thus far. He got sick several days after getting his first clot shot.

  13. Anyone who goes and gets a COVID test because they are feeling sick is just asking for trouble. The false positive rate for the COVID test in Manitoba is 56%.

    Once that old fashioned PCR test that can’t tell the difference betwen flu and COVID is used after December I expect a big increase in flu and a big decrease in COVID which will be attributed to the success of the experimental mRNA treatment.

  15. Anecdotal I know so for what it may be worth…1st cousin who got the double in June had been feeling crappy all fall finally goes to the Dr. the other day and tests positive for covid.
    He is told to isolate for the required time and call back if you start feeling worse; that’s all they got folks because early treatment is a conspiracy theory.

  18. The virus has been beaten. Health can return to normal. Amazing how colds and influenza disappeared last year; now to return. All praise the holy experts and government actions. The health service is saved. Things can return to normal, but don’t leave home without your social credit score card.

  19. For the first time I can see, CTV News Winnipeg mentioned the four variants of concern. Alpha, Beta, Delta and Gamma. Nice to know I guess.
