A small study in Turkey using a massive amount of vitamin D in covid treatment.
The prognostic significance of vitamin D deficiency in
patients with COVID-19 pneumoniaVitamin D has anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects via the downregulation of pro-inflammatory cytokines. We aimed to demonstrate the effect of vitamin D levels on survival in COVID-19 patients. MATERIALS AND METHODS: 207 COVID-19 patients were included in the study. Serum vitamin D levels were measured, and patients with levels <20 ng/ml or 21 to 30 ng received a single 300.000 IU dose of vitamin D.
CONCLUSION: Although a few retrospective studies put forth a relation between vitamin D deficiency and COVID-19 course severity there is still paucity of data about the efficacy of vitamin supplementations in COVID-19 patients. A single 300.000 IU dose of vitamin D seems to represent a useful, practical, and safe adjunctive approach for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19

This!
good to see you back, we were concerned.
I read something else a couple of days ago where a person took a couple of days at 60,000 IU/d at symptom onset and was much better immediately afterwards. I was a bit skeptical when I saw it but now High D seems to be getting more recognized as a therapeutic tool. It will be really cool if this pans out.
Let me get this straight… you won’t take the vaccine because you are afraid of long term affects. But you are not afraid of the long affects of getting covid and potentially treatments .
I hope you are right as treatments would kill this epidemic – but not yet.
What pray tell are the “long term effects” after Covid..??
IMMUNITY..??
LOTS of ways to treat this with out a Faux Vax….THERE is where “long term effects” manifest themselves no..?
HCQ w/Antihistamines
Ivermectin
Hi Dose IV Vitamin D
Which sample size would give you more information… 207 or 6 billion?
It’s OK to be wrong.
Billy Bob,
Risk of death is higher for the jab than from covid itself. Take lots of ivermectin and vitamins, especially D, and it’s done (that was me yesterday afternoon).
Check out what Clapton has to say about the jab.
It has been my experience that when one loads up on more vitamins than the body can accept it flushes them through urine.
That is true for water-soluble vitamins (like “C”) but fat-soluble vitamins (like “D”) remain in the body for much longer durations and can accumulate to toxic levels if over-consumed for long periods.
Yes, that is an extraordinary dose, not recommended from other literature.
Anecdotally, if you get Covid, 30,000 daily has been mentioned, for that duration, but I’m not a doctor.
The fat-soluble vitamins are: A, D, E and K.
Not true. It’s not Vit. D in high doses as such that’s toxic. The supposed toxicity symptoms are caused by lack of magnesium when taking high doses of Vit. D, and by build up of calcium. If you take adequate magnesium and Vit. K 2, the latter which makes sure the calcium created by Vit. D3 goes into your bones and doesn’t keep circulating in your blood, you’ll be fine. And the three work wonders. Working up to that dose, I took 50,000 IUs Vit. D3 / day for a couple months (with enough K2 and mag.) and it worked wonders for my autoimmune condition. I then cut back to 10,000 IUs /day as my maintenance dose. For the first time in my life (late 60s) I’ve gone two years without a cold or respiratory infection (I have asthma) and of course didn’t get Covid.
VOWG
I share that sentiment.
Question to the “article”
300.000 IU is what..??
300,000 IU..or 300 IU…..it’s the dot inbetween thats weird.,?
When the vid first presented itself, I went to 4000 IU daily, am now @ 7000, w/ 500mg Vit C w/Zinc + Vit B1
At 100mg.
Have not been sick once since 2003….
That part of the world uses the comma for the fraction separator, and the period for the thousands separator. That is definitely a huge dose of vitamin D, and you wouldn’t want to take that much for more than a single dose.
For most folks about 5,000 IU per day is as much as can be tolerated on a continual basis. Be sure to include Zinc supplements in that regimen as well, but again be careful about the dose. 50 mg of Zinc per day is likely more than most people’s bodies can handle.
So noted.
The zinc I take is 2mg daily…inside the Vitamin C tablet…the ones sold at Costco
I figure that I get much of my zinc needs from regular diet. However, I do supplement by taking 25 mg every other day. I use the zinc picolinate which has one of the highest bioavailability/uptake factors of any of the available zinc supplements.
If you take zinc you might want to consider supplementing with copper as well as it can deplete your copper levels.

And you need to supplement copper when you take zinc.
Interesting study here.
It’s in my Got milk? file.

Don’t let the WHO or CDC find out about this… if it stopped the pandemic in its tracks, they’d lose all their new-found power.
No, they’d just declare vitamin d a poison, then get Pfizer to market a supplement called BtwCandE.
ISWYDT… LOL!
Vit D is made “naturally” in the skin, upon exposure to sunlight.
It is vital in the construction and maintenance of bones.
Healthy bones contain marrow.
Healthy marrow makes blood.
Healthy blood contains all manner of interesting gizmos and substances.
Anyone care to guess why lots of older folk are prone to osteoporosis?
Immune system degradation?
Take a punt or two!
