These aren’t people going to an organized protest, they’re just regular Joe’s expressing their contempt for an unpopular President at random venues. Is it partly that people intuitively know that this type of citizen’s protest will go viral and so the anger of the normies cannot as easily be suppressed by the media? A passive and effective means to bypass the gatekeepers?
