    1. Heh, I have a Kyocera flipper with no data plan, plus I can shut the internet off with the touch of a button. It’s “off” right now. The phone is just a “phone” now. Halo stat chew?

      1. I reluctantly bought my first cell phone in nearly 20 years because the cab company that served the Fort St. John airport took out its courtesy line and the only pay phone in the terminal was on the blink.

I’ve rarely used it in the 7 months since I bought it. Most of the time, it’s inactive on my table.

Will the government force me to use it for the few calls I actually make?

        1. Next thing you know we’ll all be getting new free
Kenny-Phones, like the Obama phones, only green on the outside and red on the inside.

        2. I read an article some time ago (sorry, I don’t have a link) about the Chinese having to own cell phones in order to access government services. What a great way to keep tabs on your citizens! It’s only a matter of time…

      2. Yep…now is the time to resurrect my BlackBerry Z30.

        No google
        No fascist book
No apps other than bank links

If they want a QR Code, I’ll show em my Cobbs Bread one…

    2. QR CODES? Does Mr Kenny want my Quick Reference recipes?

Just to be clear folks, on the CTV local news @ 11:30 pm, I just heard a reporter say that this plan, so far, is not “mandatory.” Ýet.

They’re claiming that Alberta businesses want it. Right, wouldn’t this mean they are shooting themselves in the foot? Maybe they heard that my old outdated Samsung flip phone is 20 years old. Why, why, it looks new! Like Kate once said, they’ll have to pry it from my cold dead hands. Ha!

      1. I once bought some second-hand cell phones at a ham flea market with the hope of using them for parts. Some were clearly years out of date, so they wouldn’t be compatible with the current network. Since some still worked, at least to the point that I could switch them on and they powered up, maybe I could use one of those.

Or, since I have a pair of old Motorola bag phones, which are analog cellular units, I could try one of those, though I don’t know if I can get those to receive battery power.

I could have all sorts of fun with the government if it tried that stunt with me.

    3. A dozen Edmonton area mayors are petitioning the provincial government for a vax passport system. Alberta municipal election is coming Oct. 18, vote wisely, people.

      1. I have been suggesting the same. That people need to vote out all incumbents, Mayor’s Councilors, School Board Trustees etc. Flush them all. NOT ONE of them defended us or our rights.
Get Vocal and encourage people to take control back from the Psychopaths.
This is our fight as citizens.

    4. Awesome Nancy I was just coming here to post the same article. Glad you caught it and got it up.
Kenney is the perfect example of the term SHITCON.
He learned from the master of all SHITCONS Stephen Harper the Globalist SHITCON.
      Never ever vote SHITCON.
In Alberta vote Maverick or any Separatist Party instead of SHITCON.
Pretend to be Conservative until elected then quickly go COMMIE on you.

        1. It was a hand full of dirt.

I’m old enough to remember when the media cheered when someone threw a shoe at GWB.

      1. My son in law is from the Okanogan Valley … and his tribe have some really nice lands he may move onto in his later years.

    1. The self-annointed anti-hate group denounces The People’s Party and Max but it doesn’t hate Max being milkshaked.

Some want to give the Vote to this age group: “It was very violent,” said 17-year-old Rya Whitcroft, who lives in the east London neighbourhood. “I was crying, and I was so upset,” Whitcroft said of an argument she got into with one of the men, and another dressed in a suit and hat with the slogan Canada First.
‘Suits’, the next level of Fear Factor Canada !

      1. They’re psychopaths.

This reality needs to be shouted from the rooftops every day.

The brainwashing of the ruled by the rulers prevents most people from overcoming their cognitive dissonance and accepting the bitter truth.

The rulers don’t think like you do. They have no humanity. They hate you.

        They’re psychopaths.

      2. L – Yes, it’s long past being a crime of omission. Now it includes malice aforethought.

It’s a blend of the Nuremberg War Crimes 2.0 and the Millstone verses.

It’s only a matter of time, until provincial premiers get the boos and middle fingers that Justin Trudeau now receives, a visceral hatred for their jailer.

Lockdown saturation is kicking in. Tar and feathers or equivalent emerges.
        It was predictable.

        1. Maybe not. For anyone paying attention, the political leaders are using divide and conquer tactics, with mob rule and shout downs being their strategy. In BC, the cowed, manipulated population is onboard with the bully pulpit tactics, their fear, paranoia and loathing is the base of the psychopath strategies of Nazi BonBon and Commie Horgan.

All of a sudden, bullying, stereotyping and name-calling is AOK with Socialists like John Horgan and Groper, who were aghast at the mutterings of Donald J Trump, yet they emulate DJTs strategy now, for those “stupid idiot anti-vaxxers”

Include the media talking heads in any Nuremburg trials, the whole lot of them need an appointment with Piano wire

    1. We’ve stopped buying Chinese for some time now. If we can’t find an alternative, we try to do without.

  1. Here’s one for the many war history fans.
Biden’s pathetic pull out of Afghanistan that left a lot of modern equipment to the enemy had been done even before Saigon.
Remember Dunkirk? This is nice clear picture show of the Allies equipment left behind to the Germans.
However, it is a tribute to the Allies to have gotten so many of their forces out before they were totally annihilated.

    Enjoy.

    1. How Canadians retreat. Brest, France 1940

“There was more panic and confusion in Brest than Foster knew. The brigade’s new 25-pounder guns had arrived there, but the British officer commanding the embarkation ordered them to be destroyed. Lieutenant-Colonel J. Hamilton Roberts, commander of the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, was appalled, argued vehemently for two hours, and managed to get the destruction order rescinded. Roberts got his 24 guns loaded onboard, even managing to get an abandoned 25-pounder from a British regiment stowed away as well.

Lieutenant Robert Moncel, commanding the Royal Canadian Regiment’s Bren gun carrier platoon, similarly received orders to destroy his carriers. Years later, he recalled that he flatly refused and managed to get the vehicles loaded aboard ship as ballast—but only after ordering his platoon sergeant, if necessary, to shoot the British officer in charge on the docks. ”

  2. The ‘Cascade of Unintended Consequences by our governments is being revealed.’
Is slowly unraveling as truth and facts are emerging that the media and politicians can’t suppress anymore.

I have certain rules I live by. “My first rule: I don’t believe anything the government tells me. Sooner or later the people in this country are going to realize: the government does not give a fuck about them. The government doesn’t care about you, or your children, or your rights, or your welfare, or your safety. It simply doesn’t give a fuck about you. It’s interested in its own power. That’s the only thing keeping it and expanding it wherever possible.” – George Carlin

  3. Not a tip but an FYI. Kathy Shaidle (Five Feet of Fury, Relapsed Catholic) will be laid to rest tomorrow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Hamilton.

    1. George Carlin had prescience….without a doubt, and knew long before most of us knew what was what.

That statement has been my guiding mantra for near 25 yrs…only changes were an increase in funding with their propaganda machine, the media, finally solidified by the usurper, that Pedophilic POS PM we have today via an initial 600 million…..

Rip George…. Long gone but NEVER FORGOTTEN.

  4. Never let a pandemic go to waste when you can reward your friends. Blacklock reports on a conflict of interest case in Manitoba. Blackie sent over six hundred thousand dollars worth of Covid shelters to a small hamlet that didn’t order them or want them.

  5. No Free Speech for you on its way.

“A spokesperson for Nine said it was “disappointed with the outcome … as it will have ramifications for what we can post on social media in the future”.

Michael Miller, executive chairman of News Corp Australia told the Sydney Morning Herald the court decision was significant for anyone who maintains a public social media page.

“They can be liable for comments posted by others on that page even when they are unaware of those comments,” he said. ”

  6. An honest journalist.
    Am I surprised.

“As Cochrane points out, what all progressive policies have in common is to increase the power of those who control the government. ”

“Is the Liberal platform any good? The answer depends on what you think the platform is for. If the goal is to increase economic growth and improve standards of living, then their platform is preposterous. The Liberals are like a 650-pound man who exclaims that he is in excellent health and that the path to further improvement is to increase his consumption of chocolate cake in order to hit 700 pounds by next year.”

“………the Liberals propose to escalate spending by another $78 billion over five years with more money for: government employees, university students, the CBC, free menstrual products, Indigenous programs, a “racialized artists” fund, electric vehicle subsidies, and the list goes on. ”

“It is a mistake, as financial economist John Cochrane explains in his insightful essay , “Understanding the Left,” to presume that progressives are interested in producing a free and prosperous society with widespread economic opportunity. All their policies on taxes, spending, and regulations are demonstrably counterproductive to achieving that goal, so it must be that they have a different goal in mind. As Cochrane points out, what all progressive policies have in common is to increase the power of those who control the government. ”

    1. WOW What a Brave, Brave woman. I sure hope that this goes viral. Everyone help this Brave Beautiful Woman and share this everywhere. She is so courageous. Much respect Lady much Respect.

  7. The Stupid Party: Consistent, if not conservative.

Don’t know if this has made Tips or not.

Former Harper MP Pierre Lemieux, whose only claim to fame was dispensing million dollar cheques to millionaires during campaigns, didn’t get the Conservative nomination in Glengarry-Prescott-Russell, an Ontario riding. The official excuse touted by Pinky no’tool & Co. Is that Lemieux lost the last 2 elections to turdo hemorrhoid frank drouin. But the truth is, Lemieux has a real problem with Canada’s abortion laws – so li’l pinky declared him persona non-grata.

In his place, pinky parachuted in Hudson Que. resident Susan McArthur. The local humour has it that she’s quite familiar with Glengarry because she often flies over it on her frequent commutes to her job in Toronto.

  9. Huge US Parachute Drop 101st and 82nd. God Bless All Our Fighting Men/Women. My cousin Carl from Edmonton did this behind the lines on D Day with the First Special Forces or Black Devils. They fought until there was not enough of them left to muster, then were rolled into Canadian and American Para Regiments until the end of the WW2
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-2puqqmycM

    1. Sorry but your history lesson needs work. The Canadian/American First Special Service Force fought in Italy and Southern France before being disbanded. The 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion did drops in Normandy on D-Day and over the Rhine plus other battles before doing a mad dash to Wismar on the Baltic to cut the Russians off from Denmark as the war ended.

      1. Wrong Scar. I have his records. Including his wounded in action etc. The FSF was disbanded in EU after D Day.

The 1st Special Service Force was an elite American–Canadian commando unit in World War II, under the command of the United States Fifth Army. The unit was organized in 1942 and trained at Fort William Henry Harrison near Helena, Montana in the United States. The Force served in the Aleutian Islands, and fought in Italy, and southern France before being disbanded in December 1944.

        1. There were two units fighting different battles. The First Special Service Force was nowhere near Normandy. The 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion jumped on D-Day.

  11. Slowly boiling the frog… Digital ID and Vaxx Passports. Your social credit system is on its way…..
    ————————————————————
Ontario’s digital ID is just an electronic version of your physical government ID, but with better privacy and more security, the government says.
It will also not act as a tracker and only be usable with your permission.

  13. New Zealand Has Completed Its Transformation Into A Full Blown NAZI COP PIG GESTAPO STATE.
New Zealanders will have to eventually fight for their Freedom and Liberty, as will Australia and Canada.
Unfortunately all 3 have turned into Penal Colonies. We all have the same Fake Democratic Elected Queeny Westminster Parliaments.
Which mean absolutely no Rights For The Citizens.
How many of you have read the Abortion of a Fake Constitution Canadians have.
It is all about protecting the Power and Control of the Elected Queeny Thingy instead of protecting the Rights of the Citizen vs the Government.
The Consent of the Governed does not exist in our Fake Democracy.
Canada needs to be broken up and the power of Ottawa destroyed.
The Citizens need to take control. Personally I like the Swiss model for a country. One of the oldest Federations in the world. New Zealanders will have to fight. As will we eventually arm up and prepare. They mean us grave harm. They have gone Rogue. We have a right to defend ourselves and our families. Do Not Submit.
