      – Sanctions against plaintiffs AND their attorneys awarded in King v. Whitmer. This includes possible disbarment for the kraken lawyers.

      1. Most state laws require bipartisan teams to be present. Then you also have state officials present and DOJ officials present.

        Most states already have a paper ballot backup. Electronic only voting barely doesn’t exist in swing states.

        One vote one day….. doesn’t really accomplish anything. What needs to happen is mail in ballot processing and possibly scanning/counting before election day. Some states allow this, and its obvious the states that do not. Early voting is not an issue either unless you know something I do not.

        The reality is you bit into the big lie. The late night ballot dumps! The counting after election day! The lawsuits, oh the lawsuits! The affidavits!

        All a big dog and pony show. I called it a week after the election when I listened to a PA lawsuit that had Jenna Ellis and Giuliani involved. After listening to that hearing I realized it was all smoke and mirrors. The people filing the lawsuits didn’t even understand the election laws! Then I read the affidavits and they were a joke too. I got ripped here, yet I turned out to be 100% correct.

        Now the pushers of the big lie are getting rightfully destroyed in court. Dominion always seemed to play the long game. They weren’t interested in OANN and Fox News soundbites.

        It’s even worse in university. Most of my undergraduate engineering profs had spent time in industry, so they had a practical sense of what they were talking about.

        For about the last 40 years, engineering departments have been hiring profs directly out of school with no time whatsoever “out there”. They make an exception for anyone who worked at airy-fairy research.

          When I was an undergraduate, I was expected to show my work when I did a calculation on an exam. I not only proved how I arrived at my answers, but, if I got it wrong, I might get partial credit as whoever marked it might find where I made my mistake.

          Moving ahead to 20 years ago, I was at Armpit College teaching a service course to the class from hell. I ran a mid-term exam and, in one section, one young lady got mad at me because I penalized her for not doing that. She just punched numbers into her calculator and got the answer, without even thinking about it.

          She gave me a thorough dressing-down for not knowing what sort of number cruncher she was using and that “everybody does it that way”. I took up the matter with her department head and, in his usual fashion, blamed me for it for not spelling it out to the kiddies beforehand.

          So, it was my fault that the department stopped insisting on doing things properly. Of course, it would never occur to any of them that one’s calculation might be checked by someone else and that other party might not have the same machine. Nah….. that would have been too logical for that place.

  18. Don’t flame me for this post on the China virus. I concede that the civil liberties advocates have done yeoman work pushing against mandatory vaccines, vaccine passports, masking and the like. And I give them credit.

    But I am 72 years old; I have a low immune system; I have had two major operations during the China pandemic; these days I spend from Sunday afternoon until Friday noon inside of the Saint John Regional hospital, in the 5th floor hostel, taking radiation each day. This has gone on for the past six weeks.

    So over the past year-and-a-half I have followed every single pandemic-rule handed out, and then some. Why not? I enjoy life, and if I contract the China virus I die. It’s fairly easy to take two shots in the arm and to wear a mask.

    What conservatives haven’t emphasized is the main threat of our hard quarantine life: the devastating damage to our economy. Within the next two or three months Canada will suffer a terrible stock market and housing market crash, a crash that will make the 2007-08 recession seem like a fun nature walk. And this time we will have a bad, ongoing inflation. I lived through the other stagflation with the other Trudeau, and life was hard.

    The trouble with the China virus is that we Canadians have had a profoundly corrupt federal government, and media cartel, in charge of fighting the virus. All of the utter lies, hypocrisy and unfairness has been capably documented in this SDA site and other dissident media. But it is easy to follow the restrictive rules. (If you disagree, try living in a hospital hostel for the better part of seven weeks, while receiving radiation). But what will be terribly hard is to suffer through the economic devastation yet to come. Think of food shortages, rampant inflation, economic depression, overreaching government controls.

    I’m a retired economics professor, and I and my wife are fairly well off. But even we are worried about our future. For all Canadians the future is going to be bad. Count on it.

I would recommend to start converting your fiat money to as valuable tangible assets as possible. And i would not start with PMs but long term survival storage food. When my larder was full enough to sustain my family for 5 years i would invest in PMs in the form of stockpiled ammunition. Because our governments and those with no food are going to be a very big threat.

  28. Good news. Ontario Pc’s have rejected vaccine passports– for now, anyway. Some version might emerge later on. They need only make it perfectly clear that while these vaccines protect the individual, they do nothing to prevent transmission nor contribute to herd immunity. They have not been designed for that. Given that vaxed and unvaxed are equally capable of getting and transmitting the virus, the passports are pointless. I also suspect they violate the Charter.     While I have had respect for Eric Grenier, I question whether the Conservative numbers have been suppressed and Liberals boosted for optics.
    I would welcome anyone running the numbers and their margin of error.
