  1. Animals deal with each other through force and intimidation.

When the jockey went to the whip he lost control of the horses head. Maybe he didn’t know the horse had a tendency to bite.

Who knows what set him off? Maybe he was hooked and decided to do something about it.

    Disqualification is the result.

  2. I would actually watch A LOT MORE horse racing if it became kind of a Rollerball Equine Sport … 🙂

  3. We had three horses dropped by the same mare sired the same stud. The first one and the third one were the finest horses you could ever want. They were very plain looking bays but they were natural cow ponies and earned their keep many times over. The middle one was a gorgeous horse. Looked just like Trigger. Meanest piece of horse flesh you ever met. We sold him and got a good price because he looked so good but he was just an impossible bastard of a horse. He was too sneaky for a bucking horse, but too mean to get any work out of him. Just born bad through and through. Some people are like that too.

    1. Isn’t that the truth.

Yet there are those who insist that every living creature is “born perfect” … and it’s only “society” or “parents” or “circumstances that wreck their perfect lives. What a crock of shit.

  4. The jockey whose horse was receiving the bites did well to stay on the horse. Could have ended far worse.
My sister was bitten by a horse and it was off to the knacker for that bonehead.

  5. I’ll add another observation. If you have a goofy mare or crazy mother cow guess what her offspring will be like?
    Just as crazy as mom.

  6. Yaupon didn’t know that he was winning the race. He was just trying to get away from that dick Firenze Fire.
