    A family member had the idiot box on, and I overheard CTV news indirectly float the possibility that “health authorities” could make some nebulous emergency declaration if they thought the election endangered Canadians…what does one conclude from that? The election could be cancelled?

    Probably a trial balloon ordered by Junior’s PMO in case the internal polling continues to look bad.

    I don’t think there is a contingency for cancelling an election. Junior would be making up the rules as he goes along…presumably he would be inclined to go full Castro. Wouldn’t daddy(ies) be pleased!!!

        Why are they being relocated? China cracking down on home grown Bitcoin miners at home.

Ignoring production stats on natural gas wells, well…… producing natural gas? How many were “dormant” wells to begin with? Shut in, hey even capped and buried? CBC doesn’t say. Any taxes paid on “new” production or any production after start up? Lots of questions need to a be asked and answered. on this.

  15. Out of morbid curiosity, I took a look at my Liberal incumbent’s campaign headquarters last evening. Possibly 6 campaign workers in the building just after 7 p.m. I am in the west end of Toronto and saw about 3 Liberal signs on private property over 5 miles on the trip back home. 6 Liberal signs on public property. All this despite him canvassing before the election was called. I have seen 2 PPC signs. No NDP or CPC signs. CPC candidate is from the adjoining riding and was only selected late last week.

    1. Signs are passé and old school, not a real indicator of popularity, unless a landslide.

      A wealthy campaign can litter the countryside with signs, and still lose.

    If any low income senior reading that believes that it will mean your oas may decrease, the max cra, cap allows a person on cpp, oas, gis is 1718per month.
    So for Trudeau to increase the gis he is doing no favor unless the government increases the total you are allowed.
    So for example you get 374cpp plus 626 oas. That’s 1000 you would get if you qualify 718
    For the total of 1718.
    The only way the extra 500 which makes the gis 1400, your cpp would have to be practilly nothing.
    He fails to explain this when he is flying numbers around.
