1. The gun, any gun, is an inanimate tool. The possession of the tool should not be a criminal offense, no more than a chainsaw, or a machete, or a crossbow. If another tool injures or kills another person with one of the aforementioned tools, that and that alone is a crime covered by existing statutes. Zero gun ownership is not possible as the criminals do not care if the law exists or not, and there are a lot of First Nations smugglers that don’t care either. The Liberal Party is populated with unthinking, bleeding hearted dolts who no concept of reality, but are very happy to destroy any system that defies their imagination.

   1. Guns aren’t violent. Nope. They just sit there. They can’t load themselves. They can’t hold themselves. They can’t pull their own trigger. But anti-social people can do ALL those things.

      This kind of illogical thinking started in our elementary schools, when the 91% FEMALE teachers and administrators decided to punish inanimate objects instead of individual children who exhibit anti-social behavior. My “ball on the roof” example: My third grade son liked to bring a nerf football to school to throw around with his friends before school started. One particular 5th grade bully liked to intercept my kids ball, and then throw it on the roof. The school (female) principal’s “solution” ? Ban all balls brought from home. That’s it. Do nothing before school. Just sit on a bench and stare at the ground. Seems my son’s use of his time having fun and exercise before school was MORE anti-social behavior than some punk ass pussy bully from the 5th grade who liked to cause trouble and beat up on kids smaller and younger than him.

      Illogical. And sure to do NOTHING to solve ANYTHING.

         Fight in the playground? Make the police arrest and charge both of the combatants. That way, they don’t have to find out why or if anything can be done to prevent future incidents. No need to make any decisions. Just lazy can’t be bothered liberal thinking.

   So the Liberals are using their money. Sorry, using “taxpayer” money. Taxpayer money for Liberal ads, Bombardier, SNC Lavalin, some for Liberal donors, some for Liberal friends, some to buy seats, …

   So, how is this different from the last 200 years in any way?

13. There is a symbiotic relationship between government and criminals. They need each other. If we could magically eradicate crime and drugs, we would only need ten – fifteen percent of the government we currently have, and the same with police forces. When crime gets more out of hand than usual, the peasants scream, “The government should do something, there should be laws against all this crime”. Newsflash, there are laws, but if they are only given lip service, they don’t have any impression on criminals. By allowing crime to machinate in the underworld, the peasants or electorate are kept in a state of concern and worry, and accepting of increased government expansion and controls, giving up more of their freedoms and tax dollars for perceived safety, when in reality, it just gives government more power and control.

    The real fear of government, is that if the majority of peasants become angry at government for some reason, and if perhaps things devolved into civil war, then those legal gun owners would be giving their spare guns and ammo to their neighbor’s to fight in that civil war. Therefore, from a government perspective, the lawful gun owners in any country, are the real threat to them, not the criminals. You cannot control a free person very well, and you cannot control an armed person, if they should decide to stand up against an oppressive government. If we consider the direction this government is taking this country, as also in the US, Australia and the UK, then you can understand the reasons that they want to disarm the lawful gun owners.
    We are the real threat, not criminals. By linking lawful gun owners to the criminal misuse of firearms, they are persuading the gullible LIV’s, that we are a big part of the cause of the gun crimes that are occurring in the urban areas, and that we must be ostracized and brought under control. (kind of similar to the anti vax hesitant shaming and pressures) If they manage to do that, the rampant crime will still not abate, it’s just that the peasants are more affected and therefore will demand more safety and loss of liberty, and they are even are less able to defend against crimes, and against an oppressive government. Therefore, becoming perfect patsies for a dictatorial regime. Once Trudeau has achieved that, then he can add it to his resume to the WEF, when he applies for the head UN job, that he desperately desires! He may be rich, but compared to the mega rich WEF trash, he’s a joke financially, so he needs to impress them, to get a permission slip to join their team and become one of them.
