Covington 2.0

National Review

Ms. Cooper would probably have been wise to leash her pet and walk briskly away, but when a stranger threatens to poison your dog in Central Park, that is bound to cause consternation. It’s not unreasonable for her to have felt herself (as well as the dog) personally threatened by Mr. Cooper’s saying, “I’m going to do what I want, and you’re not going to like it.” She later told CNN, “I didn’t know what that meant.

  1. She allowed her dog off the leash, which is against the rules… – First mistake. Yeah, I get it, you’d like Muffy to run free like the wind. Sorry, those days are long gone.

Ms. Cooper would probably have been wise to leash her pet and walk briskly away,… – Yup.

“I voted for Obama twice!” “I have lots of black friends!” “I bought Ibram X. Kendi’s book!” – Oh dear, she wen’t there. Second mistake.

Then there’s this: Note the pile on from the MLB and other notables like Keith Olbermann who thought the fan was yelling “N***er” when in fact he was yelling “Dinger”, the Colorado Rockies mascot, for him to come over to have a picture with him and the wife.
What a sad fng world we live in anymore. Small wonder the guy is fearing for his life right now.

    1. The fallout from your last paragraph will be that MLB and all sports media will no longer allow the use of “Dinger” as a slang for a home run, and if we use it we’ll be called racist. I’ve already seen someone use it on an OJ story – calling him a stupid dinger. Give it a week of other people using it this way and it will be banned like the OK hand sign.
(The OJ story was related to him being interviewed re: top 100 of all time, where he stated he avoids LA in case he runs into the real killer)

    2. And the absurdity of the second story is that someone screaming n***** should not be an issue in the first place… and of course it would not have been an issue had he not been white.

  2. Her dog is leashed in the photo, National Review . . .

Listen to Bari Weiss’ podcast on the subject. Probably a more informative exploration compared to the formerly interesting National Review

    1. Almost makes me wonder if he is an actual “birdwatcher”.. But BLM does rule now.. You can’t accuse black criminals of being criminals, and if police confront black criminals they stand the chance of doing jail time. Well done leftists.. All part of the plan of course, and repubs are doing NOTHING about it.

  3. The Bari Weiss podcast is probably why people are talking about this story again.

  4. Another example of black people using their race as a weapon while cynically pretending to be victims. The sooner white people realize that they are being indiscriminately targeted for their skin color the better.

  5. No such thing as a black bird watcher, he was out there on the down low looking for his punk.

  6. More sources are picking up on some of it.

Not all of it, just some.
Not yet dares to say the obvious truth. Namely that a black racist who threatened to poison her dog, was cynically bating for the reaction he got, so that he could then capitalize on the phony outrage after the Floyd killing. She had her life destroyed so he could get his 15 minutes of fame. Revolting scumbag and the sheep who run with the story.
