    1. The only equivalent to that aircraft (way smaller) I had the pleasure of close encounters with was the Canso “Flying Boat” (Catalina PBY) usually as a water bomber in the Canadian bush. Fly all day on a tank of fuel. They used to fly them on anti sub patrols during WW2. Two radial engines, loud and proud, direct drive.
      Thanks for the vid C.

      1. While I was in high school, there were usually water bombers based at the Fort St. John airport during the summer fire season. I remember seeing a number of old warbirds that had been converted to that service out there.

Among those planes were Catalinas and B-26s.

When the fires were particularly bad, we could hear, and sometimes see, the planes flying as long as there was daylight.

          1. Absolutely. A great place to visit. The staff are amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, laid back and passionate about the place. Also, while there, visit the bookstore, if you are a military history geek you might be surprised with some rare finds at bargain prices.

Also in Hamilton, there is HMCS Haida. Toronto commies did not like her, Hamilton took her.

      2. BTW check out the rest of the channel. The author really knows his stuff and makes very interesting informative videos.

  1. I have been looking for some research information like this:

Underlying Medical Conditions and Severe Illness Among 540,667 Adults Hospitalized With COVID-19, March 2020–March 2021
    Results

Among 4,899,447 hospitalized adults in PHD-SR, 540,667 (11.0%) were patients with COVID-19, of whom 94.9% had at least 1 underlying medical condition. Essential hypertension (50.4%), disorders of lipid metabolism (49.4%), and obesity (33.0%) were the most common. The strongest risk factors for death were obesity (adjusted risk ratio [aRR] = 1.30; 95% CI, 1.27–1.33), anxiety and fear-related disorders (aRR = 1.28; 95% CI, 1.25–1.31), and diabetes with complication (aRR = 1.26; 95% CI, 1.24–1.28), as well as the total number of conditions, with aRRs of death ranging from 1.53 (95% CI, 1.41–1.67) for patients with 1 condition to 3.82 (95% CI, 3.45–4.23) for patients with more than 10 conditions (compared with patients with no conditions).

It is 11 pages. It is well worth printing it out.

    1. So freaking out about COVID is as dangerous as being a ginormous fat f*ck.

      Good work, health “experts”.

    2. 92% of death certs that list covid have it as the main underlying cause of death.

Also consider how much of the adult population is overweight, diabetic, pre-diabetic., has high blood pressure etc.

Almost 50% are overweight. Something like 15% are diabetic or prediabetic

      1. 92% of death certs that list covid have it as the main underlying cause of death.

Yeah, even assuming that fake Twitter stat isn’t fake, there are no statist financial incentives that irreparably corrupt the data at all, are there.

Really, how stupid are you? No, really.

  2. L – Tyrants meme throughout Canada and the Western World:

  3. Are you prepared yet for the IMMANENT CLOSURE of our VITAL fuel supply in Ontario?
Our Trudeau government has given every indication that he HATES fossil fuels and uses any nonsense excuse to close or block anything fossil fuels related.
    https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/canada-blocks-proposed-rocky-mountain-coal-mine-environmental-grounds-2021-08-06/
Last spring the excuse was the nesting season and Trudeau blocked construction of a pipeline.
No other type of construction or environmental traffic was halted, just the pipeline was.

    1. There idiots . Borrow money like crazy then stop any project that could possibly help make the payments.

    2. If every pipeline into Ontario was shut down tomorrow it would be a day to late. You get what you vote for.Toronto needs to feel the pain

    3. Once you get through the carbon impacts, gender impacts, flora, fauna and runoff impacts then you realize the WWF has been contracted to come up with a justification for rejection, https://www.cer-rec.gc.ca/en/index.html Then you realize its in Alberta. What were these people thinking? Didn’t they hear about Bill C-69? The country formerly known as Canada is closed for business.

    1. Like I going to watch any Canadian television that day, you white racist bastards as Trudeau wants us to be responsible for past history. Damn idiot who can’t be bothered to look at actual history and how many times compensation has been paid as he pays even more.
Our Indigenous are NOT STUPID, they know a sucker to keep milking for funding.

    2. Of course! Just what we need in this country: another f***ing holiday, as if we don’t have enough of them already. It’s a bleedin’ wonder that anything ever gets done in this country nowadays.

  4. Former Ontario premier Bill Davis has died. He was a leading “progressive” (as in left wing) conservative in the 1970s and early 1980s. I was going to write that the old Bill Davis PCs were a thing of the past. But no, the old PC are alive and well today. Sadly.

    1. Canadians are too easily duped by the media. They do not understand the vax agenda and are unaware of the massive protests elsewhere. Dumb. Dumb,
