It’s not Racist

When Liberals do it.

Indigenous employees were regularly sidelined by a “toxic” working environment in the office of Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett but their complaints fell on deaf ears, several former staffers have told CBC News.

CBC News spoke with more than half-a-dozen Indigenous and non-Indigenous former staffers who worked in Bennett’s office at various points between 2016 and 2020.

25 Replies to “It’s not Racist”

  1. I have often wondered if the real reason the racist left pushes for ‘diversity’ is to facilitate always having a great selection of ‘minorities’ and ‘women’ around for them to abuse in person.

    1. I always thought it was because they feared for their own jobs and wanted a way to weed out qualified applicants that might some day be a threat to the department head.

  2. Wasn’t Carolyn Bennett involved in some other “controversy” a few years back? It seems to have been memory holed on the interwebs…

    1. “Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett failed to disclose a conflict of interest to the Privy Council during treaty talks and settlement negotiations with seven Anishinaabe communities in Southern Ontario, a First Nations member alleges.”

“During negotiations over the 2018 Williams Treaties Settlement Agreement, neither Bennett nor former Finance Minister Bill Morneau disclosed THEIR OWNERSHIP OF COTTAGE PROPERTIES located inside the 50,000 acres of wilderness that was under claim.”

    2. Carolyn Bennett (Liberal Crown Indigenous Relations Minster) abandoned the legally-elected leaders of the Wet’suet’en band to support some anti-pipeline, un-elected “elders”…

      https://nationtalk.ca/story/carolyn-bennett-faces-calls-to-resign-over-wetsuweten-controversy-huffpost-canada

“The elected leadership of several First Nations split over a natural gas pipeline in northern British Columbia are calling for the immediate resignation of Crown–Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett.”

  3. This is what happens when you disparage the notion of an ‘ alpha ‘ male – a male who takes charge to move people forward with a common objective without any selfishness or ego on his part.
With so many women today it’s all about them. They are merciless to attractive young women in their charge while treating most male underlings like doormats, except the handsome ones who are fawned over. If you have a problem with their toxic femininity you of course have a ‘ problem with women ‘.
I’ve seen this everywhere throughout my life. The shrill shriek of some bitch’s insecurities are heard more than ever in today’s offices.

    1. Women and men are biologically different and that extends to their approaches to in-group competition for resources (ultimately, it’s always about increasing one’s access to mates and food). Humans are social primates, so they have to cooperate as much as they compete; a single hunter can’t bring down a mammoth by himself.

Men evolved the “alpha male” strategy because strict cooperation under a single strong leader is the best way to bring down that mammoth. A challenger who is physically stronger than the current alpha male and capable of persuading more of the hunters to obey him is by definition a better hunter and therefore superior to the original alpha male, so he becomes the new alpha male.

Women evolved the “queen bee” strategy because their route to survival and reproduction is eliminating their competition for the best performing males in the tribe. They do this by social cutting, ostracization, making their competition look less attractive to the rest of the tribe. It’s also why they constantly push their mates to “be more alpha” and shame men who don’t live up to their standards.

Once you understand this dynamic, everything – everything – about modern office politics makes sense.

    2. Yips…..

I Cannot say I disagree, having experienced that shit from a cpl of crotch rotten BITCHES prior to my entering the trades and Engineering…..a Very Far Cry of those that enter STEM or the trades themselves….all of whom for the most part, that I’ve met, have my respect. (only a cpl of exceptions)

      1. There are becoming more and more exceptions as the HR office becomes more woke.

  4. As Big Chief Gay Eagle With No Balls would say, they obviously experienced it differently.

    1. L – Is it a white feather ? That is the feather a Liberal waves when signaling the C.C.P. !

  5. {ctrl} – F
    “Written”

    not found

unless you put your complaints in writing and sign your name to it, then it’s not worth the paper it’s written on

  6. Back in the 1970s in my pick and shovel days, I worked with lots of Indians on many different jobs. I never saw one being abused in any way. Sometimes I was abused as the Effing New Guy but that ended as I got a bit tougher and quit projecting dorkiness.

  7. OK … let us see…
The fact is that the department of those affairs is an artifice of so called ‘Liberal’ party’s government.
    A product of bottom feeders.
In the video post just about this one, the scheme becomes clear.
Those that complain about supposed ignorance, abuse and other such, are there to expect a special treatment, a special audience with the powers and acceptance of their positions.
    Not gonna happen.
Like it or not, the agenda of the minister is what it is.
Agenda of the natives is what it is.
And never those two will meet.
Agenda of Canadian pedestrian and native rank and file don’t come into the picture, are completely irrelevant, have no weight.
And that’s the way it is and will always be as long as there is ministry of native affairs (whatever the actual name is), it’s a feel-good scam.

As per CeeBeeCee, take note, they are in employ of the idiot in charge, they are running interference for him, talking about they other guy instead.

    1. Well this why Confederation happened.

Wasn’t due to a struggle for independence.

Was due to a government seeing its ability to remain the kind of patronage machine it was when the experiment south of the border looked like it was about to conquer or buy out the entire continent with Britain looking for hard currency to pay off its war debts.
It was never about the welfare of the nation, it was always about the welfare of the government.

  8. And another thing.

    Supplementary Estimates (A), 2021-22
    https://www.canada.ca/en/treasury-board-secretariat/services/planned-government-spending/supplementary-estimates/supplementary-estimates-a-2021-22.html
    Department of Indigenous Services ($5.4 billion);

Aboriginal population, 2016- Canada (2016 Census of Population) 1,673,785 which is about $3226 for every person.
On the first sight is looks rather bad.
Then you look how many are of the reservation, actually making a living and other those that don’t get any free money.
Then you look how much is the take of the bureaucracy, the chiefs and their families, the bottom feeders and assorted hangers on.
The poor native can barely scrape by.

    1. You see the same in Canada’s “National Defense” department. We have enlisted soldiers who barely make minimum wage. The number of deployable, underpaid soldiers is overwhelmed by the sheer number of generals and colonels and majors filling the Defense Headquarters building in Ottawa.

      1. I believe a private recruit starts at $38,000 which is about $19 per hour. Alberta’s minimum wage is $30,000 or $15 per hour. They aren’t suffering. A freshly promoted corporal makes $64,000. The high end of the corporal pay scale is $85,000. Most troops are corporals.

      2. …. sheer number of generals and colonels and majors filling the Defense Headquarters building in Ottawa.

        Yeah … the freeloaders rule.

You wonder who is in command.

The generals are the most woke idiots bar none.

The proletariat is ok with that, if they care about anything but free stuff.
