SARS-COV-2 isn’t even in the same time zone as HIV as a killer. But it is like HIV in one crucial way. It plays favorites. After a year, most of us know that the elderly are at much higher risk from coronavirus (though even well-informed people may not be aware HOW much higher the risk is). But what public health authorities have gone out of their way to obscure is how much obesity – especially severe obesity – drives the risk of the coronavirus in younger people.

In April, British researchers published a definitive paper on the subject in The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology, a peer-reviewed journal. The researchers examined the medical records of almost 7 million people in England to look at the link between obesity and severe outcomes from Covid, including hospitalization and death. The topline findings show only a moderate link between extra weight and Covid risk. But when the researchers looked more closely, they found that’s because in older people, being overweight does NOT drive excess risk.

    How many times have they lied to us about this “pandemic”? Too many to count. Every thing from 2 weeks to flatten the curve to the new Chuck Norris movie “Delta Variant” has been designed to terrorize the populace into submission to an agenda. If you read Book 5 of Plato’s Republic you’ll realize that most people are content with reacting to the shadows on the wall of the cave and unwilling to leave the cave for the disinfecting sunshine of reality above ground.

    Govern yourselves accordingly.

      Hence, anyone who “follows the science” as filtered by government censors (now aided and abetted by Big Tech) … is a complete idiot. In other words … a Democrat.

      Hence … Dr. Birx never delivered the “granular data” she promised.

  2. I’ve read garbage like this before and these essays by intellectuals are exactly as the article says – one main idea repeated in slightly different ways throughout the book. You only have to read the first chapter, then take it to your neighborhood book cabinet for it to be ignored until someone needs wheel chocks for a trailer or something.

  3. Given all the contradictory data concerning the Flu Manchu, I’ll just ignore all of it. All the “risk factors”, all the “vaccines”, everything. I will just live my life as I did before all this crap, to the best of my ability, which is what I’ve been doing since the word go.
    The only thing I can’t fully ignore are the gestapo and their Karen agents-at-large.
    All those who publish and disseminate “scholarly articles” about this crap are basically just amplifying the screaming of “FIRE!!!” in a crowded theater, and can just fuck right off.

  4. And what are the majority of people doing during lockdowns? Putting on weight. Its almost like shutting down exercise facilities and leaving fast food joints open while closing restaurant dining makes people unhealthier. Its almost like they don’t like us or something.

    1. Too true. At 70, I’m reasonably thin to start but I’ve started walking at least five miles a day and, when possible, getting at least 30 minutes of sunshine (no sunscreen) every day.

    As far as I know, the last prominent person to believe in it was some guy named Tommy Douglas.
    Imagine my surprise seeing it implemented by stealth.

    Has he been paying attention to any western government at all in the last two decades?

    1. Google, Apple, Facquebook, Twitter, et.al. will simply deplatform and silence Jim Jordan. Then, they will run multiple stories about how he turned a blind eye to some gay coach buggering college wrestlers or something.

  9. Over time I’ve noticed that when the mainstream media posted a photo of a severely ill younger person hospitalized with Covid they would fit the bill as obese. Most, I’ve noticed, are also diabetic.

  10. The three people who I know personally that have had a bad time with covid fit the obese description. Not a big sample size. Would be curious to know if others have seen the same?

  11. What was that table included in the article supposed to prove? It was just a list of numbers without saying what they were representing.
    Any dumbo that uses a cell-phone screen grab to illustrate something immediately loses my attention.
    Doubly so if they can’t even include all the relevant information in that screen-grab.

    Not that I disagree with the fact that obesity and COVID-19 is a good predictor of death.

    There are bold pilots.

    There are no old, bold pilots.

    My dad is 90. Many of his friends are in their 80s and 90s.

    None of them are the least bit overweight, and all live at home.

  14. 1. The FDA did not approve Moderna or Pfizer mRNA gene therapeutics they dubbed “vaccines”. It simply authorized them. Fauci confirms. 19 doctors warned the world of the dangers. In 2012, the animal trials for mRNA jabs had to be stopped because the animals kept dying.

    The former President of the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons along with Molecular Biologist & Immunologist, Dolores Cahill, PhD, confirm animals died in previous mRNA animal studies. Personally, I will take their word over any ‘fact checker’ that is trying to promote experimental mRNA jabs. There is no evidence that successful animal studies were ever conducted specifically for the Moderna and Pfizer mRNA information therapeutics.

    But, even if there was proof, the current studies with humans are a catastrophic failure bordering on genocide. As at June 13, 2021, the number of vaccine deaths in 2021 exceed the combined number of vaccine deaths for the past 30 years.

    1. Could someone please explain to me what the rational is for depopulation? I’m not being snarky, I just am trying to understand what the motivation and benefits of less people would be. For example who wins power and or money through fewer people. Or is it for Gaia’s sake? Or is it specific groups of people who need to be eliminated?
