Jake Tapper’s CNN Fear-Porn Show Lost 75 Percent Of Its Audience Since January – “Whereas Tapper’s show had 2.8 million viewers in the month of January, it raked in an abysmally low 706,000 from May 23 to June 23. In terms of the second quarter, the host has experienced about a 50 percent decrease in viewership compared to quarter one.”
All Tapper and CNN have to do to get viewers back is air more news about Joe Biden’s mental state and his son.
They won’t even have to pay featured guests to make stuff up.
That would mean a 180° turn in their coverage, and then the four viewers they have left would abandon them.

At least they still have the airport lounges.
They don’t. The CNN Airport Network stopped broadcasting at the end of March as a cost-cutting move. CNN actually paid the 58 airports for the network be on their terminal TVs; if I recall it ran a quarter million a year for Miami International alone.

With those viewer numbers I have to believe their ad revenue is getting absolutely hammered. CNN is owned by AT&T and some business insiders say they want CNN out of their life and the sooner the better because of AT&T’s own debt problems, which among other things, shareholders aren’t particularly happy with.
Which begs the question…who the hell would buy it?
My money is on Bezos.
Maybe once air travel picks back up the ratings will improve. The airport waiting lounges are full of captive audiences.
