China wants to build a Trump style wall on top of Everest to keep covid out.
Chinese state media announced on Monday that a team of 21 Tibetan climbers will scale Everest in order to set up a separation line between the Chinese and Nepali sides of the summit. The line is meant to prevent climbers from interacting on the tiny mountaintop.
I had to double-check that wasn’t from the Babylon Bee.
The summit is a tiny, tiny area. Ha, so I guess then that high-altitude masks are about as useless as the masks that they’ve been forcing on us. Got it.
C O, masks will not be a problem as they will be using oxygen. If this idiocy continues the Bee will no longer be satire.
Yes, ‘oxygen masks’ are what I was trying to communicate with “high-altitude masks”.

I’m just wondering how they’ll get the wall built on the side of the mountain. Perhaps they could just extend the great wall to include the whole mountain range. It would only take about five hundred years with the modern technology out there today. Plus it would have the added benefit of keeping out all the barbarians, which also has the added benefit of keeping the Han enclosed inside behind it….win win, for the whole damn planet!
The Chinese will settle in the end for a sign that says DON’T CROSS THIS LINE then they’ll scratch a line in the snow with their climbing pole (and we all hope that in doing so they’ll not notice and will fall off the mountain).
