The COVID-19 Government Response Tracker (OxCGRT) from the Oxford University suggests that the stringency of lockdown measures in Canada ranks nearly as high as those of communist China and Cuba.

If you’ll recollect, lockdown restrictions in spring 2020 were in fact lifted in many if not most places in Canada by the summer. But new waves = new lockdowns. It’ll go on like this, until population immunity builds up. We can achieve that naturally, which will take years and many rounds of restrictions, or we can achieve that through vaccines, which will take months.

I am a runner with nary a spare pound, no diabetes, BP 90/60 and adequate vitamin D levels. I would rather get natural immunity thank you. Adverse reactions in the young and healthy at virtually 0 risk from the disease are piling up, and the long term is entirely unknown. I won’t touch the shot without approval, every one getting it now is part of the biggest phase 3 in history, emergency use doesn’t interest me.

So well put. It makes me think back to when I was a kid in the 80’s. We would head to Alberta to visit family and as a kid from Saskatchewan I always marveled at how different the people were there. More aggressive, theyworked hard, drove fast, and always seemed like they needed to be somewhere. They all carried themselves a little different and yes they would take jabs at us Saskatchewan folks and wonder why we all didn’t move out there too.
A few years back I was Edmonton and came to the realization of just how many fat, lazy, dull eyed people I was surrounded by. Alberta lost they’re drive and advantage as a province in one generation. It then became clear why Edmonton had became an NDP stronghold. Now I know there are still thousands of hard working, driven Albertans just like there are in Saskatchewan but we are outnumbered. We are getting badly outnumbered and with the ever expanding immigration where our federal government provides generous financial support for new Canadians we are completely screwed as a nation. These people will continue to vote Liberal and NDP to ensure they continue to receive their entitlements.

I firmly believe that the PCR test has been used to drive this whole farce, and this kind of change would allow them a way out.
