Reminds me of the Eric Metaxas/Peter Thiel interview I caught the other night- Thiel is no dummy, he claims Ivy league schools…Yale, Harvard, Stanford etc. are trading off their reputation and it’s his view that their reputations and gravitas are so entrenched that they’re going to be around for a long, long time. It’s a “zero sum tournament” he says…they’re the “Studio 54’s” of education and as such being “effectively deranged” ain’t no biggie for them. Seeing the numbers slipping a bit?…”increase enrolment” for the suckers of the world who still think attending means something.

    Yeah, I know this is Penn State but I think the same could apply.

    One wonders what the next day brings.

    This kind of thing confirms the theory that those that stayed in school after going there for a long time are completely unequipped to handle everyday life, they though, know how to talk shit for hours at a time without saying anything at all.

    There were these characters they call communists, socialists, fascists that actually improved the bullshit.
