If they say “he’s at risk of dying”, and you try to leave, they can call you “insane” and run you down and medicate you, at least they have threatened to do that to me, all the while holding my clothes and wallet hostage against my good behavior, just for checking myself in with chest pain, and that’s after I got the angiogram.

          I read the book more than 50 years ago, though I don’t remember much of it.

So Blackie the great health expert delayed the time between doses against the instructions of the vaccine maker, and now we are getting reports of people getting the China virus after the first dose. But the bought and paid for media is ignoring this. They are more interested in Doug Ford is Hitler stories.

    I was told that the amount of protection provided with a single dose is about 80%.
    Unless you’re a transplant recipient, then it’s less.

      To find the efficacy of Pfizer and Moderna after ONLY ONE SHOT is a difficult task, in fact the only place I have found it is in this video presentation by Dr Been. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Zq_Y2rV4PI&t=435s who derived the information from reports submitted to the US FDA.

      Watch it all, but for those who are impatient start at 3.07, Dr Been using Pfizer and Moderna published data reports Pfizer efficacy after one shot is 52% effective, Moderna after one shot is 50.8% rising to 92.1% effective after 14 days (don’t ask!) . That’s not nothing, but it is far from adequate protection.

      You will not be surprised to hear that our sainted Public Health Propogandists are playing Russian roulette with your life to cover for Turdeaus incompetence related to vaccine provision. We are truly a turd world country reliant on others generosity.

        By all means, ask — it’s not that complicated. The reason efficacy rises between days 1 and 14 after the first shot is because with ANY vaccine, it takes time for your body to build up T/B cell immunity (aka adaptive immune response).

        Accurate, but incomplete. That reported stat from Pfizer’s clinical trial data calculates efficacy as measured from day 1 onwards. See above for why that’s misleading. Researchers who have dug into Pfizer’s clinical trial dataset to look only at results 15 days post-shot #1 calculated efficacy at 89%, and a study based on Israel’s real world roll out of Pfizer similarly found dose 1 efficacy two weeks onward in the 85% range.

        Actually, 85% vaccine efficacy is hugely protective, for individuals and for society overall. It’s a big reason why infectious disease experts are recommending extending the dosing interval — if you run the math, you actually get bigger risk reductions, at the individual and population levels, if you prioritize getting first doses more quickly in more people over getting some people two doses before moving on the next in line.

          By all means get a shot if you think you are vulnerable, nobody should take medical advice from me, then again I would trust Ted’s boosterism shouting “facts” with no factual references even less. Let’ s just remember the Public Health Cartel have been wrong about just about everything so far.

      Same small town with varying times post jab from 3 weeks to 2+ months.
      I guess they’re not very lucky….

  17. If this covid era we are going through isn’t enough to prove the incompetence of Trudeau and his crew there is little hope for us.
    People are becoming mentally and physically sick due to the isolation and fear at how covid is being handled.
    There is no end in sight, they’re grasping at straws with lock downs, then administering one dose and waiting 16 weeks for second dosing against recommendation of makers of vaccines.
    It’s a colossal mess.
