  1. Noticed gas was at 29 cents in Burlington today. Up from 19 cents. Guess the carbon tax is kicking in prior to the obscene budget the Little Red Dwarf is presenting. Only a $354 Billion dollar deficit!

    3. Saw this “help for seniors” thing. They are going to send government people to do stuff for seniors like mow their lawn. Now where I live seniors hire locals and pay cash. $20 for an average yard. Now it will be fill out ten forms, pay for an environmental assessment, wait for a government environmental agency to issue a permit, after waiting six months, and the government worker (who will naturally have to be of the correct BIPOC and nonChristian religion) will get paid $65 an hour and all the lawns will be hip deep.

    1. That investment was in interest free loans to the provinces. The CPP was underwriting most of the provincial debt during the 70’s and 80’s. At least offshore investments will mean growth in the fund as long as we can keep the politicians grubby hands out of it.

  15. From what I have seen, this is less a budget and more a virtue signalers wet dream cum true, combined with a socialist plan to ensure the lockdowns going. It’s abundantly clear that the connected Liberals across the board are going to be well taken care of, at our expense.

    The urgent issue when faced with a doubled debt (at least)? A white elephant national day care plan, at $10 per day.

    All done with unionized day care workers? The real goal? Full pay and benefits, let’s see, at $10/day, that’s 25 kids per worker.
