  1. The former owner of the house isn’t the only one using the phony plague to enrich himself.

I’ve noticed that while flying back and forth between Edmonton and the house in B. C. that I inherited. The airlines have cut back of their service, claiming “conditions” prevent them from serving regular refreshments. It sounds to me like they found a convenient excuse to nickel and dime the passengers

    1. This has been on the way for years. Falls under the fake rubric of “we need to be competitive”. Which was revealed as total BS when WestJet literally said back in whatever year that was that fuel prices spiked that they had to add their new fuel surcharge and baggage fees–literally at the same time as AC–to remain competitive. They keep using this word, and I don’t think it means what they think it means.

Related: I’ve had two co-workers now cycle through my IT shop from WJ, and both said it was a shitty place to work and they were glad to be out of it. Office, not front-line.

  2. Couldn’t they just get some friends together and physically remove the virus?
Or would the cops kick the owners out of their own house and allow that A-hole back in?
If it were me I’d be willing to accept the assault charge.

  3. Ownership is at the whim of our politicians as at anytime it can be taken away in a multitude of different avenues in this experimental system we live in.

Bullshitting the people has become an art form by our political actors.

  4. Tell the MSM the guy in there is a racist cracker and that he voted for the Donald.
    Twice.
    Or shoot him.
    Twice

  5. As the new legal owners of the property, why do they not just cut off water and electricity (as owners, they have to pay) and pray for forgiveness in court later.

  6. As a new owner you must pay an inspector to evaluate the house for black mold. Tip him to make sure he finds it. Under CA law they must leave the house until the mold is removed.

  7. Even in the Mexicali desert wasteland known as Riverside … $560k is an absurdly LOW price for a relatively new, large, nice, home … which images of this home indicate it is. Law Enforcement has warned people, as a result of this case, to be wary of “deals” that appear “too good to be true”.

I’m reminded of my favorite truism … “Only a swindler can be swindled”

These buyers thought they were getting something for nothing … when in fact, they received nothing for something.

But yes … because home prices are fkcuing ABSURD in CA … even in the deepest of Mexifornia … desperate times, make for desperate people. I expect few would be so stupid as to fall for this scheme in other parts of the country.

  8. Let me add that my son works as a financial analyst for a Real Estate holding company which owns THOUSANDS of high-end multi-family units in Silicon Valley. Top properties, with top rents.

Because of Gavin Newsom’s Communist-Lite policies imposed during the ChiCom Pandemic … many of their tenants have not paid rent for a year. Nope. They have no financial model for that. And let me suggest that Gavin will NOT rescind the Rent/Mortgage-Holiday … until he is recalled later this year.

  9. So Californication working exactly as planned?
    A lawless situation.
Sooner rather than later the citizen will start asking the obvious then act on it.
If only certain laws shall hold, who gets to choose?
Nope not that law, only this one..the one that protects the criminal.
Interestingly California has a history of fools and bandits getting out of control followed by crank citizens “correcting” that behaviour.
Seems hemp rope featured in most of those acts.

  10. I’m reminded of the Michael Keaton movie “Pacific Heights.” Not a great film, but a solid “it could happen to you” type of movie. And it looks like it is happening to them.
