  1. Drunk driving charges against Bruce Springsteen have been dropped.
Justice may be blind, but she can sense a large donation.

    1. Springsteen blew .02, intoxicated is .08. He accepted 2 tequila shots from fans at a park where alcohol consumption was legal until last year. He has a clean driving record.
I’m not a big fan, but there’s no story here. Sounds like a park ranger wanted to make a name for himself.

      1. Yes, but even .02 is illegal if it clearly impairs your ability to operate vehicle.
However, it is usually just a 24 hour suspension and possibly a temporary vehicle seizure.

  2. And now your Canadians are racist bastards stories for today. Vol. 1

Toronto Star reports that racism is running rampant in science. CBC reports that kids are acting up in Nunavit schools because of colonialism. And racism is running rampant in the York Regional Police.

  3. Another Trudeau carbon tax was never a good idea

Trudeau’s second carbon tax means higher costs for Canadians
    https://www.torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/terrazzano-trudeaus-second-carbon-tax-means-higher-costs-for-canadians

Trudeau’s energy plan for Canada will hurt every Canadian. Moreover, lower income Canadians will feel the most pain as basic food prices for items like bread, milk, chicken and a host of other food stuffs rise. Some prices will more than double because of carbon taxes and taxes on top of taxes.

    1. That’s OK, but I would personally hold back on ordering those big slices. A few media reports are saying that North Americans have gained weight during the mass quarantine, due to being stuck at home in small apartments, eating additional amounts of fast food, etc. (Another cost of quarantines, not being discussed enough). I have noticed my own 72-year-old spread of late, so I will be chancing some snowy streets to do more dog-walking.

  4. FOX’s Tucker Carlson last night had a good discussion of the nefarious AT&T and its lobbying for China:
    https://www.foxnews.com/tech/att-lobbied-against-sanctions-on-chinese-state-owned-telecom-company

What bothers me is that U.S. conservatives have been timid about talking up any boycott of AT&T, particularly when this corporation owns the nefarious CNN news channel. A year or so ago then-President Trump muttered about something like “Perhaps people should pull the cable on ATT television”. Yet conservative organizations sat on their hands, doing nothing.

  5. The corrupt CBC joins big tech and big government to silence dissidents:
    https://thepostmillennial.com/cbc-joins-coalition-of-tech-giants-to-combat-disinformation-on-the-internet

Recall a few months ago CBC news censored a major study, and the accompanying press conference done by Amnesty International Canada and various dissident Chinese-Canadian groups, stating that the secret China spy network in Canada was harassing the said dissident organizations. Nearly all major Canadian media ran the story — except the corrupt CBC. They kept on running hit pieces attacking the Epoch Times. Fake news indeed.

  6. And now your Liberal corruption news for today, that won’t be found at the CBC. Blacklock reports on the chief of staff for the public works minister personally vouching for a Liberal lobbyist to get a government contract. Which brings me to the question of the day. How can a small outfit like Blacklock’s Reporter get such great stories, and yet the mainstream media with vast resources can’t?

    1. LindaL:

Beat me to it. Sent it to my classical musician daughter in NYC who is very liberal but gradually coming around it seems.

Honestly, when I saw that pic I thought ‘this is too good to check” but as a responsible parent I did and found a news story on it.

EVERYBODY: look at the pic in LindaL’s link at 12:11. This puts social distance circles to shame.

      1. I have decided that the Covid “pandemic” is the equivalent of a cult. Tons of cult behaviour — most of it unwarranted. What it is doing to kids is very sad.

    2. OMG the IDIOCY I see being played out around North America over a seasonal flu bug… floors me on a daily basis.
Just when you think STOOPID has a new definition…alongs comes something completely out of LEFT Field.

    3. And now, in tonight’s concert, we present the Fauci Concerto for Orchestra and Pod.

  7. Joseph Goebbels on the Big Lie (now apparently transformed to Trump lying about believing the election was fixed):

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Wrong or right’s got nothing to do with it. Own the institutions of freedom , independent media, judiciary and bureaucracy.

They shall serve the collectivist cause. The current big lies? Feel free to add your own:

    – 11 million illegal immigrants in US, apparently stable over the last ten years, unchanged by “refugees” pouring across the border.
    – There was an “armed insurrection,” apparently what qualifies is a three hour riot with one actual gun charge. Another QAnon fail.
    – And, the greatest, biggest lie of all, with 97% consensus, that climate catastrophe is always in the future, nine years at last count:

“Rode and Fischbeck, professor of Social & Decision Sciences and Engineering & Public Policy, collected 79 predictions of climate-caused apocalypse going back to the first Earth Day in 1970. With the passage of time, many of these forecasts have since expired; the dates have come and gone uneventfully. In fact, 48 (61%) of the predictions have already expired as of the end of 2020…In some cases, the forecasters were both explicit and certain. For example, Stanford University biologist Paul Ehrlich and British environmental activist Prince Charles are serial failed forecasters, repeatedly expressing high degrees of certainty about apocalyptic climate events.”

The researchers noted that the average time horizon before a climate apocalypse for the 11 predictions made prior to 2000 was 22 years, while for the 68 predictions made after 2000, the average time horizon was 21 years. Despite the passage of time, little has changed–across a half a century of forecasts; the apocalypse is always about 20 years out.”

“… scientists, due to their training, tend to make more cautious statements and more often include references to uncertainty. … While 81% of the forecasts made by scientists referenced uncertainty, less than half of the forecasts made by non-scientists did. “This is not surprising,” said Rode, “but it is troubling when you consider that forecasts that reference uncertainty are less visible on the web. This results in the most visible voices often being the least qualified.”

  8. I swear I saw a posting about Canadian Tire here about an hour ago.
I left to retrieve an email and when I returned the post had disappeared.
Should I question my sanity or did someone else experience the same?????

    1. Thank you! I was also wondering when I went to show my other half. At least if confirms I am not going crazy…..yet

    1. Ontario John – my thoughts exactly – must have been on the list for the first 100 days – what’s next? – load a 747 with cash and send to Iran ? It would be certain to to pay wonderful “dividends”.
