Toronto Children’s Hospital emphatically stated that children should not be forced to wear masks. I think the directive referred to all school age children. School boards are ignoring this in forcing kids to wear masks all day. Parents should be challenging this requirement. The masks are definitely lowering oxygen intake.
Through March 2020 the WHO was telling people that masks were more dangerous than no masks. Then the fascists adopted masks as a symbol of submission and here we are. Could the spread of the Woohoofloo have anything to do with the widespread use of masks? I am guessing yes.

– not researching state election law

No mention of malfeasance? Why am I not surprised.
Is it legal for anyone other than the state legislature to change the state voting rules? If no, then what level of judicial review is appropriate? If no level of judicial review is appropriate then those areas are no longer part of the republic as they are autocratic states.
If other states (state type 2) lack standing to have states that they suspect are acting autocratically (state type 1) follow the written constitution of said state-type-1 on the basis that some malfeasance within the state-type-1 will cause the entire balancing act that is a federal election to fail, thereby negating the votes of the source state-type-2, what recourse do they have?
Other than armed insurrection by those who have sworn an oath to protect and uphold the constitution of the nation (note – not an oath to an individual or an office – an oath to a document and its ideals). I really hope this doesn’t come down to civil war. But guess which side has the military?
PA for example has mechanisms both in their constitution and state law for both the SoS and judiciary to temporarily alter election rules. SCOTUS has previously ruled that the electors clause does not trump a states constitution.
But you would know that if you read the PA supreme courts decision. SCOTUS hasnt bothered to take up the case for good reason.
Seems to me that throughout history, without fail, the Swamp has always, always had their fartboys to lie, dissemble and cheat so they don’t have to get their claws dirty.
Congrats on being just another in a long line of fartboys, fartboy.
I prefer to actually read their constitution. From the State of Pennsylvania constitution (bolding mine):
Election and Registration Laws
Section 6.
All laws regulating the holding of elections by the citizens, or for the registration of electors, shall be uniform throughout the State, except that laws regulating and requiring the registration of electors may be enacted to apply to cities only, provided that such laws be uniform for cities of the same class, and except further, that the General Assembly shall by general law, permit the use of voting machines, or other mechanical devices for registering or recording and computing the vote, at all elections or primaries, in any county, city, borough, incorporated town or township of the Commonwealth, at the option of the electors of such county, city, borough, incorporated town or township, without being obliged to require the use of such voting machines or mechanical devices in any other county, city, borough, incorporated town or township, under such regulations with reference thereto as the General Assembly may from time to time prescribe. The General Assembly may, from time to time, prescribe the number and duties of election officers in any political subdivision of the Commonwealth in which voting machines or other mechanical devices authorized by this section may be used.
By this standard, curing only some of the ballots, allowing more time for some voter’s ballots to get to the counting centres, having more and different ballot drop-off points (and levels of scrutiny on the chain of custody), and having different levels of invigilation applied for ballots in different counties (including kicking all but a few hard-core believers out for the night because “we’re done counting for the night”) means that some voters are more equal than others, and that IMO those adversely affected should have full legal right to appeal. That all those legal appeals are being thrown out is almost as suspicious as kicking out invigilators, and vote dumps faster than the tabulation speeds of the machines, and erecting barricades to ensure no one can watch the count.
Note – you’ve already agreed that the general assembly didn’t change the rules. That makes these actions unconstitutional within Pennsylvania.
C M there is not a liberal, socialist, democrat, communist who wants the truth, their entire philosophy is based on and built on lies.
fully agreed VOWG. I also know that Allen S is impervious to logical argument and direct quotation or fact. He regularly tries to bullshit professionals here in their areas of expertise.
The posting was for the uncommitted lurkers. Letting a seemingly sensible troll post go unanswered makes the troll’s POV seem more sensical. Kinda like when they try to change the rules mid-way through a discussion are aren’t called for it (votes for Obama/ votes for Hillary on another thread).
So you didnt read SCOPAs ruling?
You also skipped over this part:
“All laws regulating the holding of elections by the citizens, or for the registration of electors”
The laws and regulations were uniform. The gentlemen that sued other counties and the PA SoS instead shouldve sued their own counties. On top of that defect their complaint was flawed. So they filed an amended complaint. Turns out that one was defective too so the defence filed a motion to dismiss. I listened to the hearing, Giuliani was a lost puppy. After the hearing he asked to file a second amended complaint. Denied. Case tossed. Appealed then upheld over 2 weeks ago. No appeal to SCOTUS. Waste of time.
The other case that went to state court regarding the extended mail in ballot deadline still hasnt been heard by SCOTUS. They probably wont bother. But heres the SCOPA decision where you can find the cites:

Noted In the comments, Alberta, Sask and Manitoba should be red.
I’m assuming that those regions should be Republican red. Whoever drew that map must have forgotten about NE B. C. As far as I can remember, it’s never been Liberal federally or Dipper provincially.
And south-eastern BC too. There are a lot of miners there before you get to the wine-growers.
That might not be so easy to include that region because of the leftover hippies in the Kootenays, assuming they’re still there.
Yes, BADR, those old effin hippies are still there, and some Kootenay ridings still go ENDEE. Only Cranbrook area doesnt vote ENDEE or LIEbrawl.
The coast is a wasteland of gimme dat voters now, brainwashed by soft spoken soothsayers, who do not mean well, and handouts of reckless borrowing.

L- The intro. to some fascinating Canadian history.
————————————————————————
Robert Jago@rjjago
Bit of history. Late 1700s, the Spanish arrive and start to colonize what will become Vancouver Island. They’re followed by the British, the Americans, the Russians. By early 1800s a steady trade has developed on the coast, and between plagues, Indigenous nations are booming. …
I remember learning about that in elementary school. Look up who John Meares was.
I remember John Batchelor interviewing an author about the history of western North America around the time of the American Revolution.
The Russians came to western North American coast in search of furs, particularly sea otters, which they called “soft gold”. The reason for that was one of the biggest market for the pelts was the Chinese imperial court, which were stored in a large warehouse along the border in what is now Siberia.
Cultural suicide. Entrenching & Institutionalizing huge mass immigration.
Cdn Politicians & especially so in the case of Trudeau are giving away our country as fast as possible!
Immigration – Probably now one of the top 5 “industries” in Canada. It is actually hanging economic millstones around the necks of all native born Cdns.
Who voted for mass uncontrolled Immigration? Who wants to drown our culture? Who wants to live in a crowded country?
Nobody I know.
What we’re experiencing now is typical of what many governing parties have done.
Their attitude is that if one votes for them, one not only votes for the promises and policies from the election, but what ever those parties do afterward, particularly what was never discussed during the campaign.
So whoever voted for Prinz Dummkopf also voted for his wiping out Canada. If they don’t like it, they can vote for them out in the next election. But the average voter will have forgotten it by then, so he’ll still get away with it.
Those living in western democratic countries like the US, Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, etc., need to be reminded of an ancient truth. Political power is derived from the people. It is granted to leaders by the people only with their consent and only temporarily. That same power can be removed from them just as easily.
“All power is originally vested in, and consequently derived from, the people. That government is instituted and ought to be exercised for the benefit of the people; which consists in the enjoyment of life and liberty and the right of acquiring property, and generally of pursuing and obtaining happiness and safety. That the people have an indubitable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to reform or change their government whenever it be found adverse or inadequate to the purpose of its institution.” James Madison
Check out the “Kelergy Plan”
” It is actually hanging economic millstones around the necks of all native born Cdns.”
Wrong. We’re nothing but richer for it. Toronto and Vancouver have AI industries popping up because of Canada’s relative openness to immigration.
“Who voted for mass uncontrolled Immigration? ”
No one and we never got it.
” Who wants to drown our culture? ”
Given that it’s collectivist and sucky, I do. If your culture can’t survive immigration, it deserves to die. The country does not owe you the demographics you arbitrarily desire.
So when was the last time you were in Quebec big boy?
You seem to forget that Quebec drove around 500,000 English speaking people out of the province.
Why don’t you go preach to Quebec?
Quebec out side of the Greater Montreal area is 95% plus white French Cdn, and we are paying big bucks for this rabid ethnocentrism, or tribalism, if you prefer.
English speaking people from WestCan are still not welcome.
A friend of mine was just there for some temporary work in Quebec City.
The obvious way to get the ignorant, incompetent or just plain lazy Quebec politicians off their asses is to run 3 million of the immigrants into Quebec the new immigration program that the Liberals just proposed for Canada.
Quebec and Western Canada had the same population of 6.3 mil in 1976 and now WestCan has 12 mil but Quebec still only has 8.5 mil.
Clearly their economy needs a huge boost from a lot more immigrants and the subsequent demand for housing and accompanying businesses to keep up with the infrastructure they would require.
The bonus would be they would not need the BS Equalization munney they are now stealing from mainly WestCan.
Quebecers would then become a proud people in the world capable of standing on their own.
We all would win.
Right?

This is not a tip just one of my favourite KTel songs. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OqcDG_xLWPY
I would love to have a meme of the girls dancing in this video. Only women can dance like that. And only guys can truly appreciate it.
A very long time ago, my relatives gave me a K-Tel LP as a Christmas gift and that happened to be one of the songs on it.
Fortunately, over the years, that LP disappeared and I never even missed it.
Kate and B A, remember Harvey K Tel in the old SCTV comedy show? Dave Thomas did the hilarious skits.
I vaguely remember K-Tel being lampooned on that show.
OK – I liked Rich Little’s version best. The theme song Stairway to Gilligan’s Island was more original than the versions on the K-tel album spoof, This 2012 version is fairly good quality.
Just Think all those girls are probably someone’s Granny now.
On one website I hang out on, there is frequent reference to the famous pool scene from the movie Fast Times At Ridgemont High. I remind my fellow members there that actress Phoebe Cates is well into middle age now and possibly a grandmother as well. The responses are equivalent to gasps of horror.
Remember her well, for a moment in time, she was the IT girl, for a year or so, then her career deep sixed, by choice if I recall.
She scaled back her acting after she became Mrs. Kevin Klein and, later, a mother.
About 20 years ago she and FTARH co-star Sarah Jessica Parker were in that rather dreadful movie The Anniversary Party. The only reason I watched was because of her. Aside from that, the flick was forgettable.
Oh looky.
There could be trouble in Pfizer River City.
Way too many adverse reactions to the Pfizer drug for this French doctor.
You mean “quick and dirty” doesn’t work every time?
Except when it comes to fleecing innocent people.
I read a couple of articles on that site and this vaccine would appear to be very dangerous.
Yes, and so, in their wisdom, with little longterm testing done, its off to the chambers, er, long term care homes.
First up for the experimental vaccine? Well of course, those at highest risk, the long term care residents, the workers there and health care workers. Why not experiment on them first? What could possibly go wrong?
FYI, I am not an anti-vaxxer, have had my share of inoculations, last ones were for Hep B 3 years ago, Twinrix.
This is an experimental concoction, that invades one’s DNA to work. I might entertain it, 5 years down the road, when it proves its safety on the John Q Public guinea pig Karens first
And the money line and I quote:
‘But Caumes repeated his critique to Le Parisien, stating, “Pfizer and Moderna simply announced their success in a press release. In my career as a physician, I’ve never seen anything like this before. You have to realize there is still no trace of scientific publication. We’re walking on our heads.”’
Kary Mullis was right about the profession… (extensive comments on Odyssee about old wise men – there are none – at the top of the publishing heap.
In particular, published fluff but wouldn’t publish solid scholarship.
And talking about fleecing innocent people as the Head Waiter to China, Justin Trudeau, is doing to Cdns, here is a study that shows the utter stupidity of using carbon taxes to cut down on the enormously beneficial CO2 in the atmosphere.
It is because of more CO2 in the air that the world has become a much greener planet than it was before.
Even in China the are large areas which has turned from deserts to areas of green plant growth.
And in Africa as well.
More CO2 in the air has helped the world population grow from 2 bil in 1920 to about 8 bil now.
Whether that is good or bad, is another debate.
There is more food grown than ever before to feed these billions of people, In spite of all of the endless stern warnings put out by various pompous asses, like the UN and the IPCC.
The first sign that Trudope’s announcement is all BS, is the lack of scientific intelligence involved.
When they quote CO2 as “pollution”, they rankly display their outright ignorance.
If it was truly pollution, then Trudope, Klimate Ken, Klimate Barbie and company, should stop exhaling, it will do us all a favour

“Doughnuts? I told you I don’t like ethnic food!” Burns throws the doughnuts on the floor.
Media reports that the roll out of a Chinese vaccine in Peru has been suspended after patients experienced a severe reaction. Hopefully this doesn’t stop the planned sales of the Chinese vaccine at Dollarama stores in Canada. A vaccine made in China for a virus it created. What could possible go wrong?
Will our mainstream media report it or stay quiet as they are so pushing everyone to be vaccinated as could care less about safety as who pays them, Trudeau, is the boss.
Nope. No way.
My kid sister (aged 67) and I communicate with each other using Facebook Messenger. Facebook has been in the news, often, for censoring conservatives everywhere, and for running an abusive monopoly, everywhere.
Anyways, I was trolling through the “holidays” sticker section, looking for a “Merry Christmas” sticker to send her. All Facebook had were a few stickers that read “Happy Holidays” and “Holiday Greetings”. That’s it. I go through life avoiding these two sayings like the Chinese virus, but for Facebook the sayings are mandatory.
My bad. I whined away to my wife about Facebook and Merry Christmas, and Michele, the Facebook-literate one, quickly sat down using Messager, and quickly retrieved Merry Christmas gifs. All one has to do is to use the search command forv “stickers” or “gifs”, and out spills the Merry Christmas thingies. But you must use the search commands. Learn something new every day.
It’s more than likely that the Chinese vaccine is the virus.
My kid sister and her hubby, a retired elected county sheriff, are making their annual drive, from north-central Pennsylvania to their winter residence, a condo, on the shore on Myrtle Beach, SC. When I messaged her this morning, I ended with a light quip “Drive carefully and don’t meet up with Antifa”.
To which she replied, “No, we always give Washington, DC a wide berth, and we never show Trump or Republican party stickers on our car”. Both are Trump field organizers, in both states — yet this is the intimidation factor at work here, whereby fairly energetic pro-Trumpers cautiously self-cendor their views.
(I might add that my brother-in-law, because of his law-enforcement status, is allowed to conceal-carry, and both sis and he own .357 magnums, for self-defence and target-shooting. But they still worry about possible trouble).
Blackie’s CBC website reports on a three hundred and seventy one million dollar federal contract awarded to a small company based in a house in Ottawa to supply PPE. The company had no experience in supplying PPE but they are known for selling plastic dinner dividers on Amazon. I wonder what political party they support?
John. Started to do some digging today, to try to answer your last question. Didn’t get very far, but it was the Journal de Montreal who first broke the story. CBC then did a sanitized version on December 13.
The chief operating officer of Proline Advantage Ltd is one Michel Caron. Elections Canada reports a Michel A. Caron who has donated thousands and thousands to the federal , but the names is a common one, anf it is difficult to know if this is the right person.
Note that this company is a two-person company, with a rather sparse web page boasting about all the PPE importing they are doing. But I wonder about whether or not the pics showing warehouses of PPEs are genuine or not. Interested media could track this down, if they were inquisitive.
Results so far seem encouraging. Relatively low participant numbers as of yet.
Here is an interesting piece, that I cribbed from another conservative web site, from Spiked magazine, which I hear is mostly lefty. Here a lefty Spiked reporter interviews another lefty, who wrote a fairly interesting book about the ignored non-elite underclass, and why they mostly voted for Trump.
The Trump populist revolution brought forth the book, I think entitled “The Republican Working Class Party” (or a title close to that), a book work reading. This posted article comes lose to regurgitating the ideas from this book, only by left wingers. Note that the Trump organizers purposely attracted working class and retired people, and working-class minorities: https://www.spiked-online.com/2020/12/11/the-elites-dont-understand-those-they-lord-over/
Lots of good ideas in this piece. The person interviews here is a rare leftist journalist: someone with an inquisitive mind, willing to look beyond regurgitating establishment-media talking points. Note that virtually all CBC reporters are required to be of the latter kind.
SDAers might know of the case of Caitlyn Kaufman, the emergency-room nurse murdered while driving to work, in Tennessee. I have been following this case closely, partly because victim Caitlyn Kaufman grew up and went to school not far from by yearly ears in west-central Pennsylvania. Tis murder has been covered by FOX News, and a number of conservative web sites, but has been strictly censored by the establishment media cartel.
And now the Canadian news this morning. Trump continues to spread the China virus around America. Nazi Trump supporters rampaging in American cities. Indians need more money and free stuff. Justin is saving everyone in Canada by supplying a few boxes of vaccine to a hospital in diverse Toronto. Criminals must be paid not to shoot up the streets of Toronto. Muslims are bringing Christmas cheer to Canadians. Islam is wonderful. Justin is wonderful. The Liberal Party is wonderful. Carbon taxes are wonderful. Canadians are racist bastards.
Wow! Coca-Cola?
The Globalists, Big Pharma and our Politicians will be demanding for that to be censored. They’ve too much moolah invested in the hoax.
Ich spreche kein Deutsch, aber ich verstand ihn.

What else did he say? Anyone?
Their motto used to be:

Who would have thought that a virus could teach the world to sing?

For logical men and women to ponder. Read the article. Then look around you at how complex our civilization has become. How complex our agricultural systems are mostly mono crops. Look at how complex our local and national governments have become. Look at how complex our world trade has become and all the supply chains. Look at our natural systems and how they are changing. GSM. Look at our economics nationally and Globally. Look at our geopolitical situation. Look at the complexities of our national power grids. Reflect on that. https://www.nakedcapitalism.com/…/How-Complex-Systems…

Ah, yes, Quebec….. the perpetually impoverished province…..
Oh, no, because they’re our first citizens?
But isn’t their hydro power a big polluter, shhhhh?

Another historic business gone in the slow motion death of my city and province.
I had lunch there every other Friday for years. This was the favorite restaurant of a friend of mine.
Ow sad! Never even dined there. Cowtown-Turkeytown will soon be a ghost town if it isn’t already.
Cowtown-Turkeytown will soon be a ghost town if it isn’t already.
Maybe that was the objective all along.
One of the reasons downtown reopened as quickly as it did (my company had managers starting back in May / June) was that the chamber of commerce was asking for support for downtown restaurants and small businesses. That faint hope is vanishing. I don’t see it coming back now, not as it was before.
The full impact of these shutdowns could well be increased homelessness in 2021 in the ghost downtown.
However, the opportunity for office space right now will drive change and new businesses. If only I had a great idea (too old and dumb to work a startup I guess).
I worked in Calgary during the late 1970s. Those were grand days back then and it saddens me that we shall not see the likes of them again.
the failure of the SCOTUS laid out in simple language!
With news that a covid vaccine is coming, can someone explain how it will deal with mutations? Up to ten major mutations identified so far. Is the genie out of the bottle or does the vaccine work better than the annual flu vaccines?

But heres the SCOPA decision where you can find the cites:
https://www.scotusblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/1589ec07-66e0-485c-b9be-9f7a03e99643-1.pdf
So you missed the part about the general assembly setting the rules, and choose to continue to ignore that bit?

Ottawa is nothing but a bunch of fucking commies.
Math is hard, so its ignored. Government Debts mean nothing, but any government that wants to watch its fiscal house is mean, and awful and needs to be destroyed.
What’s the old Carlin saying? If the average person isn’t that smart, that means half the population is pretty effin stupid!

https://twitter.com/rjjago/status/1332445984090181641
Government of Canada proclaims the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants Act into force
http://www2.canadianminingjournal.com/press-releases/load_story.aspx?id=1004645258
Right?

A very long time ago, my relatives gave me a K-Tel LP as a Christmas gift and that happened to be one of the songs on it.
Fortunately, over the years, that LP disappeared and I never even missed it.
Here’s my favourite K-Tel album:

Oh looky.
There could be trouble in Pfizer River City.
https://principia-scientific.com/french-expert-shocked-by-number-of-adverse-reactions-to-covid-19-vaccine/
Kary Mullis was right about the profession… (extensive comments on Odyssee about old wise men – there are none – at the top of the publishing heap.
https://odysee.com/@WakeUpMirror:3/Dr.-Kary-Mullis-PCR-tests-inventor-Nobel-Laureate-Drops-Truth-Bombs-About-HIV-AIDS:3
In particular, published fluff but wouldn’t publish solid scholarship.
And talking about fleecing innocent people as the Head Waiter to China, Justin Trudeau, is doing to Cdns, here is a study that shows the utter stupidity of using carbon taxes to cut down on the enormously beneficial CO2 in the atmosphere.
https://notrickszone.com/2020/12/06/former-wmo-official-co2-insignificant-for-balance-of-energy-completely-unnecessary-to-reduce-co2/

Note that the Trump organizers purposely attracted working class and retired people, and working-class minorities:
https://www.spiked-online.com/2020/12/11/the-elites-dont-understand-those-they-lord-over/
Lots of good ideas in this piece. The person interviews here is a rare leftist journalist: someone with an inquisitive mind, willing to look beyond regurgitating establishment-media talking points. Note that virtually all CBC reporters are required to be of the latter kind.
Book is titled “The Republican Workers Party”, by F.H. Buckley:

SDAers might know of the case of Caitlyn Kaufman, the emergency-room nurse murdered while driving to work, in Tennessee. I have been following this case closely, partly because victim Caitlyn Kaufman grew up and went to school not far from by yearly ears in west-central Pennsylvania. Tis murder has been covered by FOX News, and a number of conservative web sites, but has been strictly censored by the establishment media cartel.
Law authorities caught the perp. Here is an interesting article, from the Tennessean, describing the perp’s (Devaute Hill’s) background. and the Canada-like justice system which kept him free:

And now the Canadian news this morning. Trump continues to spread the China virus around America. Nazi Trump supporters rampaging in American cities. Indians need more money and free stuff. Justin is saving everyone in Canada by supplying a few boxes of vaccine to a hospital in diverse Toronto. Criminals must be paid not to shoot up the streets of Toronto. Muslims are bringing Christmas cheer to Canadians. Islam is wonderful. Justin is wonderful. The Liberal Party is wonderful. Carbon taxes are wonderful. Canadians are racist bastards.
