Meh. On the one hand the law does turn on specific definitions. It is a set of prescribed rules within the framer’s intentions. On the other hand I’ve never read about spelling derailing a case. If the court denies standing or jurisdiction base on mis-spelling that would be news. Plus there is such a thing as amendment. It is possible to follow 80/20 to hit a critical deadline.

I had a professor once, that had a document that he wanted to get the University Senate to agree agree to.
He deliberately used a hyphenated word in the title. A word that really would be more correct as two independent words.
He prepared all sorts of convoluted arguments as to why the hyphenated version was correct.
As expected, the first thing the Senate members brought up was the title.
He brought out his arguments, one by one, allowing each (eventually) to be shot down.
An hour later, he finally agreed that they were correct, and he would modify the title as suggested.
They never got on to looking at the content. The document was agreed to, and the next item on the agenda was brought up.
I never forgot that, and ever since, prerty much refuse to be side-tracked by hyphens, spelling and grammar.

Picking up some mistakes as well as I read through. Some grammatical and spelling, but paragraphs 50 and 55 appear to duplicated.
Having gone through the process of having multiple sets of eyes proof read docs and still have glaring errors get missed and have docs go to publication , I’m not surprised.
But it doesn’t look good. The equivalent of Grecian formula running down the jowls.

Running a printed doc through some types scanners will produce those endless sentences and some spelling anomalies. That could also possibly explains some missing footnotes, but overall seems pretty sloppy.
That’s what I was thinking. Also, the uploaded version may not be the official one submitted. With multiple versions it is easy to get versions mixed up. Going after vote fraud in the US is a gargantuan task. I so hope she is successful.

Analysis of the physical capacity of all machinery available is 90,000 ballots counted in that period at maximum capacity without interruption. Support for Powell’s case will come from a judge’s finding, in the same district, against the suitability of Dominion software, filed by the Democrats trying to turn the 2016 election.
It is possible, perhaps even probable due to her familiarity, that the same judge will be assigned to this case.

Sorry but the Trump claim of election fraud is falling on death ears. The GOP positioning for the 2020 election process smacks of incompetence. They had 4 years to vet the process and if not correct them at least expose the risk to the electorate. They did not appear to have done this. An authenticated paper vote whether tabulated by a software program or not is entirely auditable. The GOP should have cemented this process and should have had an org on the ground to verify it. Any attempt to circumvent the process by the DNC could have been exposed months ago.
I have little doubt that vote manipulation happened. It has been happening for the life of the Republic. I am sure it is happening in Canada as well. Is there any doubt of the political leanings of Election Canada? When I was active with Reform we had scrutineers at every polling station. Those scrutineers phoned count results into the riding desk. We usually knew who had won within an hour of the polls closing. IMHO citizens have largely abdicated their democratic responsibilities and will suffer the results.
CT, the US does not hold “federal elections” it is a collection of 50 state elections, with rules made by the state in question. Civics matter.

Powell could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was systemic and widespread and massive vote fraud to steal the election for Biden. It won’t matter. The swamp is too big and too far-reaching.
This election removed any small shreds of illusion and belief I still had that my one-person vote ever mattered.
I live in a State that currently can’t stand its Democrat governor and the Dems in power. Yet another “four-week” (it’ll be extended to forever) lock-down was just imposed, choking off any small business and restaurant and bar that managed to hang on until now. We’re all just helpless. They stole the election and are bringing down the hammer once again. Anything that brings joy to people is being first frowned on and solemnly intoned against, then regulated and fined … no doubt eventually prison for the disobedient. And the Dem’s environmental policies and kowtowing-to-China policies will kill the jobs that Trump brought back to this State. We all see it coming and there’s nothing we can do. Our votes didn’t matter. They are in power and they will never set us free. They’ll take, and we have to just do as we’re told. They saw that the people of this State were going to vote them out, and they moved massively to disenfranchise our votes. They will never give up power.
Everywhere I saw Trump signs a few weeks ago. EVERYWHERE. Far more than in 2016. Yet somehow the Dems massively won this state, with more votes than Hillary got. Like, WAY more votes. Even though Trump’s approval rating here was higher this time around than in 2016, when she almost lost this State. The enthusiasm for Trump here was huge. But it didn’t matter. Those in power robbed us, and are rubbing it in our faces right before our eyes. Every policy they’re promising to bring into play next year will hurt the middle-class and the poor … there’s nothing we can do. We had a few giddy years when our State started taking off and people realized what life could be without leftist restrictions and economic policies. Trump’s support among minorities was rising in this State, too. They loved the job market. The cheerfulness and hum of purpose was palpable in this State. Then came March, 2020. And ever since we haven’t been able to get back what we had for a few brief years.
It’s like this everywhere. There is no more government by the people. All we can do is hope for a slow decline into the usual leftist-run failed state with the top elite living the high-life and the rest of us cowed peasants doing what we’re told, supporting their lifestyle. I repeat, all we can do is hope for a slow decline into this gray bleakness – no gatherings, no travel, head-down-and-work-and-go home … A rapid descent means violence and chaos and war and deprivation and executions and gulags … so I’d rather have the slow decline. In a decade or two we’ll barely remember the good times before the lockdowns began, and all we’ll have are a few Netflix reruns to remind us of what life used to be. But maybe at least we’ll have been spared what happens in sudden, violent Commie takeovers.

Your post saddened me far more than I can say. To read this from an American, is beyond my understanding. Where is the spirit of freedom and liberty to fight back, to never give up?
What they want, is exactly what you are giving them, CAPITULATION! Your last words, “my poor kids” should give you the fuel to resist, to gather with the like minded and fight back.
They do all their evil under cover, in darkness, and hidden. You can do the same, you don’t have to scream at them and get noticed by them. If you are not able to deal outwardly with their attacks, do it quietly with determination and resolve. If you can’t do it yourself, support others that do stand up and push back, either financially, physically, or even just verbally. There has been many affidavits where peoole think they are seeing fraud and it turns out to be normal election procedures. Ballot duplication is a good example.

A little late to investigate now but I’d bet a weeks wages that the machines were rigged in 2016, but the algorithms were set too low in Hilary’s favour. The back room boys of the Democratic party underestimated Trump’s popularity in 2016. In 2020 they believed their own propaganda of Orange Man Bad. So much Trump Derangement Syndrome among the power brokers that they couldn’t see the policies of Trump had won over tens of thousands of Americans. Another thing that was beyond their ken is that although Americans love winners Americans also believe in fighting for an underdog, especially when they perceive that there is injustice being done.
