25 Replies to “O’Toole Positive for COVID”

  1. How the hell did Trudeau not get infected by his own wife? Seriously not one of our stupid journalists asked this. Must. Cover. Up. Divorce.

    1. Wha? You expect the government media to air Liberal laundry? What plamet are you from? On a descending scale of freedom of the press for these three countries I’d say Russia. Camada, China

  2. Interesting. Both opposition leaders test positive on the same day. One wonders how. When’s the election?

    1. “Both opposition leaders test positive on the same day. One wonders how.”

Because the tests have a 64% chance of giving a false positive that’s how. A group of 144 people who received the test were tested again to survey the efficacy of the COVID19 test. Of 144 people there were 90 false positives and 20 false negatives. This doesn’t even get into the question of asymptomatic positives.
That said, the test is for all intents and purposes… useless.
      We are all being hornswoggled.

      1. Yep. As someone said down below, they will be fine. And as I tell everyone I know: “Wuhan flu is unavoidable.”
Wait until PCR amplified traces of SARS-CoV-2 in RBG’s fluids…

  3. Ding dong, the witch is dead… Oh wait, was the Ginsburg notice on another thread? How thoughtless of me.

I hope for his sake (or their sakes) that the fatality rate has been dramatically over-presented, and that they’ll be fine. Just like over 90% of those who catch the Whu-flu. And that their recovery will speed the path to normalcy.

  4. It will be interesting to see how sick they get.

I do wish them well though.

My brother came down with COVID. He said it was the worst flu he ever had, and was laid up for two weeks.

Before COVID he’d bike 100 to 150 km each weekend. After successfully dealing with COVID he could manage 3-5 km.

But it will be interesting too see how sick the two leaders actually get. Viruses sometimes evolve into less virulent forms.

I’ve not heard any media reports on how the virus seems to be affecting younger, healthy adults. Damn the maim street media.

    1. An acquaintance had it in March. He didn’t need hospitalization, it wasn’t too bad but 5 months later he was still suffering the after effects.

I had it middle of August. Wasn’t bad really. I was over it before he was.

Viruses always get less and less deadly during a pandemic.

  5. If he is not sick he does not have it. The tests show positive for dead virus, the common cold and prior flu shots. Time to stop testing.

  6. Big deal. Tell me if they get sick. The ____ “tested positive “ for COVID is one of the most effective pieces of agitprop in history.

  7. Politicians always have their mouths open making easy passage for viruses. It may also be proof they were not following protocol as set out by experts like Dr Tam who went from saying no to wearing masks to wearing them even when engaged in sex. Maybe Tam would do better on “Just For Laughs”.

  8. Perhaps this will impart some personality and charisma on an otherwise boring robotic spineless candidate.

  9. He should get tested again. Especially since he is feeling well. The test is not reliable. Many false positives. Why are we even doing this when people are not sick? How about limiting testing to people who want to visit care homes?

  10. Who cares. A disease of minuscule mortality, given outbreaks of things like bubonic plague, malaria, and you are still on about it?

A disease of basically the same average mortality as the flu or pneumonia, less than tuberculosis, greater than the common cold. You are still on about this? Why.

Someone of O’Toole’s age and general health, stubbing his toe has the same chance of being lethal.
