I’m taking some family time starting this afternoon through late Sunday and may not be online very much. If blog posts go up, they go up. Otherwise, check your usual favourites and we’ll see you back here on Monday.

Now they have Biden and his “Build Back Better!” Tell me how “Build Back Better” logo is somehow going to mobilize the American voter into abandoning “Make America Great Again.” or “Keep America Great.” The stupidity in the brain trust that leads the Democratic party is only surpassed by the stupidity of the ingrained Democratic voter. To display a logo of “Build Back Better” by a party that had fifty seven million Americans dependent on food stamps is to ask Americans to vote for a reprise of the Great Depression. Then again logic was never a Democratic strong point.

  6. The number of people who have not died from Fauxvid-19 has soared past the seven billion mark.

    Socialist distancing measures seem to be working. I have stayed 2 km away from socialists and have not become a socialist myself. The optimum distance is 50 to 100 million km, the distance to Mars which seems to be well suited to become a new home of socialism (being the red planet).

    Wearing a mask can allow a person to stick out their tongue at overbearing acquaintances without that fact being detected.

    1. I noticed a lot of KARENs in Costco last night, the mask wearing is up, but this is Victoria, the land of obedient gubermint sheeple.
      One of the Costco staff made an offhand comment about how some people still aren’t wearing masks, I shot back “masks don’t work, it’s a false sense of security”. Told the wife that next time there’s a comment, I’m pointing out how dearie Dr Bonnie and Terry Tam BOTH have flip flopped on masks. These are allegedly top experts in their field. Are they lying or incompetent? Anyways, next Karen will suffer from a lecture on science, microns, virus sizes, N95, HEPA, and fabric filters.
      Ah, Canada, the land of compliant sheeple! As others have said, the Canadians are the ones walking to the ovens with a smile and a Timmy’s in their hand, thinking their going on a warm vacation!

      1. Unfortunately, the gang of Edmonton airport bullies (sometimes called check-in security) become quite threatening if I don’t wear my mask “properly”. According to them, I don’t know where the end of my nose is, so that’s enough to bar me from going to the departure gate.

        Then again, it seems that the only qualifications for that job is more tattoos than an MS-13 member and a big yap.

Meanwhile Adolf Trudeau will be heading for Harrington Lake(Wolf’s Lair) today. But first he is joining “progressive” Doug Ford to open a N95 mask plant in Belleville. This months after he allowed the China virus into the country. Journalists will be allowed to ask questions on how wonderful he is.

    1. That’s nothing new. I aced my last year in high school because I worked at it while nearly everyone else was partying or getting stoned. I was accused of “stealing all the As”. (I nearly had straight As in Grade 12, but I wasn’t the only one at that level.)

      1. Same here. All work always done on time. Of course with strict parents, it was impossible to shirk that responsibility. Also, we moved every year of high school so in lieu of friends, I tried to outdo everyone. All the core classes the senior year were graded on the curve. I typically got 100% on everything, tests, essays, you name it, so my name was mud in class. There was one teacher, civics, who hated my guts. He was a snide customer. The animosity didn’t impact the grade, so no complaints were made. And back then, if the teacher’s giving a student a bad time, it’s the student’s fault. Them were the days.

Trillions

    This theft of Trust funds is the usual Democrat Scam… 1 Trillion from Medicare into Obama Care was only the first transfer… Medicare is NOW paying for Obama Care,,..Full stop…. The Failure of the US Government to secure SS & Medicare will totally destroy the value of US Currency…

    4. Abtrapper – back in the day when we lived up north, spouse and buds decided to spend a weekend fishing. Hired a float plane to take them in to the chosen fishing hole, and spent much time calculating the maximum weight of beer that plane could carry in. They had a great weekend, though not that many fish came back.

    I have started on the Bible after spending a good deal of time reading about the Ancient Greeks and reading the Iliad and The Odyssey . It’s a pretty good book with a lot of insights into human nature.

    There appears that a minister did question the decision to award this contract, but premised his questions to “bi-lingualism”.
    The term does not mean the same to those outside of Quebec. It means to a Quebec politician that they don’t think their cut of the action is big enough, or they think someone else is getting more than they are.
    My theory is the entire cabinet is benefiting from association to WE, particularly those from the GTA. That naturally puts them at odds with cabinet members from Quebec.
    So I’ll cut to the chase and get to the point.
    I’ve been like a broken record on describing how a conspiracy goes off the rails is if someone starts skimming off the top or someone thinks they aren’t getting what they are “entitled to”.
    Remember also who got rumoured to be a possible replacement for Morneau?
    Methinks this WE thing went off the rails because cabinet members from Quebec thought it was to generous to those seats in and around Toronto-Center.

    I’m prognosticating Duclos and the red dwarf might be in a contest of sorts.
    Or it could be nothing.
