All these small and medium size business’s that are shut down, still have to carry the burden of operating and fixed costs without 10 cents in income. They have to continue to pay out from reserves or borrowed money, they have no cash flow. The families carrying mortgages that are laid off, have no cash flow.
Yes they get crumbs from printed money but that is an illusion and it is not free. And it does not cover the full operating cost of a family with all the usual expenses of rearing a family and carrying a mortgage etc.
The Blood Bath is going to be brutal. I am in a pickle too, With considerable money tied up in US Real Estate. One property is for sale but not moving.
If it sells I will buy physical gold and hold until the US dollar is worthless, as hyper inflation sets in, then convert gold to US dollars again and start buying distressed hard assets that have a real future potential.
I already have enough lead and beans to last us 5-8 years and a mountain retreat. Problem is this will be worse than the 1930’s as it is global.
