Who knew? There was so much fascinating information about Warships. I’d never heard of such a thing as a floating “biblically-scaled” aircraft carrier. The inventor was nuttier than Howard Hughes!
But the iceberg towing reminded me of the CA drought in the mid 70’s. The idea of towing an iceberg from Arctic Alaska to the CA coast for water supply. It would appear we need to renew this effort since we’ve gone through the month of Feb. with virtually NO rain whatsoever. Here comes Jerry Brown’s never-ending drought again …
Mythbusters had a great show on ice, Pykrete, and newsprint-based pykrete. They went up to Alaska and made a boat.
