   1. I used to teach courses in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. I sometimes used the story of that project as an example of some of the phenomena that were covered.

      None of my students believed me, of course and I doubt that any of them even bothered to look it up, even though the Internet was widely available by the time I taught those courses.
