Michael Bloomberg’s presidential campaign lifted portions of its policy plans from news outlets, not-for-profit organizations and policy groups, in some cases plagiarizing passages verbatim, according to the Intercept.
At least eight plans or fact sheets put out by the Bloomberg campaign copied material from news outlets including CNN, Time, and CBS, and organizations including the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the American Medical Association, without attribution.
In a statement, the campaign said the policies were sent out via an email newsletter service that “doesn’t support footnote formatting”, adding: “We have since added citations and links to these documents.”

I’m nervous: I want Trump to win, but the Donks have an obvious solution, and it ain’t Bloomberg — it’s the dude from South Bend IN. I watched the President’s presentation today — twice — and although I thought he was great, in parts, he gave a rambling address, infused by locker-room talk, which, although completely true, undermined his SOTU address, IMO (and all the preparation, including his, that went into it): everybody on our side certainly cried during the SOTU address.
There is no question in my mind that the Donks have come to the conclusion that they also need, in order to have any hope of election, to clean out the “Augean stable”, as Conrad Black prefers to call it (the “shit hole”, in popular parlance), as much as we concluded the same, years ago: the gentleman in question is, maybe, 30 years younger than the President, which, I’m afraid, just might be enough to bridge the gap of generations in the Donk party.
Now, there is this thing about the President: folks like what he’s doing, and they inherently like him (it’s far beyond that, in many cases, including in this country, and in my family), but they seriously don’t always like his style.
I’d recommend showing the world how he’ll push even harder on the former, and be a bit more professional on the latter.

You might be put off by Trumps style, but most of his supporters are not. They like his blunt talk. He comes across as authentic– not the usual political posturing and double speak. As for those who do find his manner objectionable, they are used to it by now. Some will reject him for it. Others just shrug their shoulders. Trump haters are Trump haters, but middle of the road people will judge him on other issues like the economy.
Since I have been a raving Trump fan from the moment he came down the golden escalator, albeit a fanboy by default (the GOPe offered nothing better) … let me explain why I like Trump even MORE today, than 4-years ago.
First: He’s demonstrated EXTREME competency at the job. He has simply caused America to thrive and succeed in every way possible. Everyone’s boat has been lifted.
Second: He has actually BEEN undoing most of the unAmerican, Communist, crap the Obama Admin. instituted (McCain’s one nasty vote prevented the total elimination of Obamakkare). And despite EXTREME pushback, he’s getting the border secured. This is perhaps the #1 reason I supported Trump … his fearless declaration of reversing Obama’s shit-unAmerican legacy.
Third: He has rewarded … the Stock Market has rewarded … doing the right thing (investing) like no other POTUS in my lifetime. Under the Trump economy, you don’t need a broker/stock picker to do fantastically well in the market … just GET IN! Just invest in America
Fourth: Resiliency in the face of an unprecedented onslaught from the most vicious, nasty, political opposition in my lifetime. President Bush enjoyed a cakewalk Presidency compared to what has been hurled at Trump.
Fifth: promises made, promises kept. No other POTUS in my lifetime even comes close … nope … Reagan wasn’t even close.
Sixth: The complete elimination of political-speak aka double-speak aka elegant LIES. MY President doesn’t “give good speech”. He simply “does good things”.
Seventh: No lobbyists have his ear. MY President owes NOTHING to NOBODY (except his voters). PDJT talks to US … his voters … not to the would-be King-makers.
Eighth: PDJT has forever changed the Presidency. He has changed the Presidency from a largely ceremonial position of award-giving, Party-hosting, ribbon-cutting, and speech-giving into an ACTIVE Managerial Executive. I look at PDJT as the new CEO who’s been hired to save the company from bankruptcy. He’s cut the fat (stupid regulations) and increased productivity (record tax revenues). America and Americans have never THRIVED like we have under a Trump Presidency.
Ninth: Substance over style. This voter couldn’t care LESS about how MY President is “perceived” … I only care about what he does. Ironically, the Democranks said the same thing about a slimy, sexual-harasser-in-Chief Billy Bob Clinton. But they claim amnesia now that a “rough around the edges” PDJT is our Chief Executive.
Tenth: I am perpetually amused (not outraged) by PDJT’s Tweets. His bypassing of the conventional media outlets via Twitter is essential to his Presidency. He has not allowed the media to define him, or to report on his accomplishments. And it bothers me NONE that MY President actually SAYS what everyone is thinking (such as: Rosie O’Donnell is a fat, fugly, nasty, mental midget of a woman (?)). Meh. Who cares? I give EVERYONE in my life a very wide berth … to be and to say who they are. I am not “defined” by other people. So what if Trump is a boor. I’m not a middle school girl, who worries about who she’s “seen with”.
I just heard Van Jones say … about President Trump’s accomplishments … “We have to be clinical, not emotional about this”. That’s a pretty good simple summary of my position on PDJT.

Yesterday was certainly a great day of victory for the President — and, all of us, as a matter of fact — and a fifteen minute reiteration of his themes from SOTU and a more generalized thank-you to all whom have been of assistance to him would have been perfect.
He missed an opportunity yesterday: some days you don’t need to be leader of the opposition; you just need to be President.
I couldn’t care less who the Donks’ candidate is — just so long as it messy. There’s only one person who can beat the President now (and that’s himself): I wouldn’t say that he shot himself in the foot yesterday, but it’s probably not a good idea to be cleaning your gun while it’s pointed downward in that general direction.

If an establishment candidate, Biden et al, can’t win the Presidential Primary, then, who better for the establishment to put forward as “their” man, it would be Buttigieg.
