  1. Just move into to Tony Blair’s residence!

Tories take Tony Blair’s former constituency

The Conservative Party have taken the constituency of Sedgefield, once held by former Labour prime minister Tony Blair, signalling the scale of the swing against the left-wing party.

The “Blair of the media” is undone!

  2. Actually, I think the traffic might be going from the EU to the UK. The EU is a political sewer. Europe seems to never learn their lessons and they keep making huge mistakes and unfortunately it has cost the “new world” a fortune in blood and treasure from bailing them out of their stupidity.

  3. The Scots seem uniformly ticked off about something, don’t know what. Londonistan predictably anti Brexit. It looks thankfully that the rest of them have made a clear and defendable statement. I still hold out hope for the place.

    1. Swap the words “Scotland” and “London” with “Alberta” and “Ottawa” and then maybe you’ll understand. A relatively socially uniform group of people living in a place, far and remote from the seat of power, holding different values, and sick of being overwhelmed by the large population at the center.

      1. Scotland=Quebec. They hate the English, receive special privileges and the net transfer of wealth from the more productive parts of the UK.

        1. Sad eh, the Scots were major contributors to the success of Canada and now their relatives in Scotland are being compared to Quebeckers. Heh, times change eh.

          1. All the enterprising ones left for the colonies to the colonies great benefit. Those who remained became addicted to welfare.

          2. I’ve worked with a few Scots ex pats here. Even within Scotland there is quite a divide. A woman from Glasgow talking about another Scot derisively “I can tell from his accent he’s from Edinburgh”

  4. Too many people I’ve met in Canada are British Socialist Retreads who left when Thatcher got into power. Hopefully there won’t be another exodus of these nitwits!

    1. I hope not. Canadian Labour Unions are already full of displaced Scottish, Welsh and English communists who ran away during the Thatcher years. We cannot afford anymore of these parasites.

    2. I feel sorry (again) for my Canadian friends who have had to accept the flight of Trump refugees like Rosie O’Donnel … and now BOJO refugees from the U.K. oh!? What’s that!? They never followed through on their empty whiney threats? Because … they’re empty, whiney people. I’m happy for Canada then.

  5. We don’t have a federal Ministry of Silly Walks yet, but we appear to have a Ministry of Too Much Time On Our Hands. Candice Malcolm in today’s edition of her show on the True North YouTube channel reported that an investigation is being launched into an allegedly racist e-mail that someone posted inside a federal department–get this–10 years ago:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YQBhquuSxI

It starts at around 12 minutes.

A colleague in the department took offence at the message in question and has tried to have that person sacked. It gets worse than that–Amnesty International is apparently now investigating.

Remember, folks, we pay these people with our tax dollars.

  6. I heard Mr Subliminal is going to be running for leader of the CPC.

“My friends (suckers), I am delighted to be here in Moose Elbow tonight (sure) to tell you why I want to be the next leader of our great party (megalomania). For many years, Canadians have wanted a progressive yet conservative alternative (they both live in Vancouver). They want our party to take a responsible role in saving the planet from the climate crisis (by mass suicides to speed up the process). They recognize the need for greater tolerance of diversity (as if that were even possible). They want to reach out to women (hey baby what’s your sign?). They know it’s important to take care of people in need (like me, I need this job).

We’ve had great leaders in the past (Sir John A., Attila the Hun, Ogg the caveman). We have appealed to a majority of Canadians several times (when the beer flowed freely). But in recent years, we have narrowed our base (to only sane people) and excluded some from participation (Max Bernier, for example). Some want to go further to the right (sort of like Gorbachev). This is dangerous (because Warren Kinsella said so). We can’t go back to the past (unfortunately, we’re stuck with Greta). The climate isn’t going to fix itself (since it isn’t broken). Hard working men and women deserve a tax break (OMG my speechwriters said something sensible). We have to get our goods to market (while continuing to spout the globalist nonsense that prevents it). My predecessor had a great idea, the energy corridor (where he’s pacing right now). I will see that through to a conclusion (bogged down in court for 15 years).

We have to get along better with the provinces (losers), and fix equalization so it’s more flexible (cash and bitcoins accepted). I’m reaching out to the Peoples’ Party to rejoin the cause (we need people to get coffee for the riding association execs). There will be no hard feelings (when we take your stuff and drop you off in Nunavut). I will go from coast to coast to coast to spread our message (but there’s only two coasts and some slushy ice where nobody lives). I will take a civil tone with our political adversaries (the people who vote conservative). I will leave no stone unturned in my search for new voters (unless it’s in a church).

You can trust me. (you can’t trust me). I won’t let you down (I will let you down). Together we will build a great political party that will inspire young people (to join the NDP). This is only the first step (there might be two or three more). We have a long way to go (can’t even beat Trudeau after his laughable first term). But if we pull together, I know we can do it (gain five more seats).

    Applause (no applause).

    1. If you’re a Conservative and you have been watching, you may have noticed who the Conservative Party resembled in the 30 second Marvis Frazier/Mike Tyson fight.

      It wasn’t Tyson.

The Conservatives went down easier than a White House Intern and did everything but cry out No Mas to the Hands Of Soy.

What is it with leaders from Western Canada and their Liberal Surrender fetish?

Do you guys have anybody that didn’t worship The Joy of Losing by Joe Clark, Canadian Geography by Stockwell Day, How To Makeovers by Presto, The Great Disappearing Act of Stephen Harper by Stephen Harper, or How To Become The Invisible Man by Andy Scheer?

By the Brown Bag of Mulroney’s Chin, I swear the Leafs may win again again before the Conservatives.

Holy Kim Campbell, what a thought!

  7. Brits would be very fortunate if all liberal/socialist/communists and followers of islam would leave their country, as would Canada.

  8. Blackie’s media shows that it can’t be trusted again. For the past few days they have been preaching that the polls in Britain showed a tight race, and that the Labour Party had a chance of winning. In other news Blackie’s media reports that Big Chief Jody is really upset she had to give up her cabinet office. She is distraught that she has to take an office with the white settler peasants. Perhaps she can launch a land claim and call for a sixty million dollar inquiry.

    1. She got her office blessed by an elder so she thinks that will enable her to stay.
She believes she’s entitled to her entitlements even if they’re now someone else’s and she’s a bit loopy.

      1. Oh ye of little Canuck knowledge.

Liberal entitlements are lifelong and passed on to future generations just like aboriginal entitlements.

You probably think Hadrien Trudeau won’t be PM.

If Canada makes it that long.

  9. True North reports that socialist Edmonton is upset that a worker has a Fuck Trudeau sticker on his hard hat. Obviously laws must be put in place to protect Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau from the peasants. In related news an Anti-Racism worker with the federal government had to resign after pressure and abuse for saying something negative about Great Leader wearing blackface. Our little dictator must be protected.

    1. In the good old days, the Canadian Media restricted their “hunt for the 17 loser Canadian Nazis and tie them to a Conservative somehow” to mostly Canadian Election time frames.

Now, like the Mad Mid-East Mullahs beating blasphemers, it’s a daily deceit for Canada’s disgraced, dishonored Media.

When you don’t know how to code, Liberal fellation is a Canadian Media staple.

  10. Post Millennial reports that Netflix will be airing its new gay Jesus Christmas special. I’m sure it will be a hit in downtown Toronto.

    1. How awful I had not heard about that and I am just aghast. Christians should all cancel their Netflix accounts. Actually what with Canada’s new laws about not insulting religion, perhaps it is even illegal. Can we have a Netflix production about Mohammad and his 9 year old?

      1. I wonder if they will have a gay Mohammad for Ramadan? Probably not, leftists may be disgusting but they are not suicidal.

      1. Funny but sacrilegious.

Blaspheming gays may get you a doxxing on the CBC.

Blaspheming Jesus may get you a gig on the CBC.

The CBC is a dishonest national disgrace!

  11. How to leave the UK. The left unmasked again. Londonistan will become London. The shithole will clean itself and diversity is invited to et the fuck out.

  12. Anybody notice the ridiculous looking clown, standing behind Jeremy Corbyn during his concession speech? The 6-foot+ fellow was wearing a bright yellow dress and had on a 2-foot tall black hat, a woman’s hat. My wife said he was a trans-woman. Why would Labour put that idiot to stand behind Corbyn when th anti-Semite was supposed to be making a serious speech? Unbelievable.

    1. I watched until about 1:00 am (Eastern) last night and saw that jerk. There were also a couple of loons standing behind Johnson when he was declared winner of his district / riding.

In both cases all the loons on stage were candidates from far-out fringe parties in Corbyn’s and Johnson’s local ridings. The UK tradition seems to be that ALL candidates in a district stand on stage to be present for the ‘official’ announcement of the vote results for that riding. The loons in costumes get 18 votes, 43 votes, etc. and the winner (Corbyn; Johnson) gets 19,489 votes …then everybody cheers and the BBC switches to ‘talking heads’. So that ridiculous, tall tranny in the big hat was not in the Labour Party, he was running as an independent or in a fringe “party”.

  13. At 7 am Eastern this morning, CBC News Morning led off its show with an interview with host Heather “Tokyo Rose” Hiscox and CBC reporter Alana Petroff. Ms. Petroff led off by stating that British voters in voling for Boris Johnson, ignored three things:
    – that Johnson “broke the law” in his earlier Brexit vote in Parliamen
    – that Mr. Johnson was accused of sexual harrassment in 1999-
    – that Brexit negotiations will be difficult.

The CBC has a close, accurate pulse on British volers’ minds. Our federal tax dollars at work funding the CBC.

  14. Blackie McBlackface is briefly coming out of hiding today. Groper and Freeland will be meeting the premier of Quebec in Montreal, to hand over some cheques.

  15. Last night CBC reported an “historic victory” by Boris’ Conservatives and an election victory “that many people didn’t want”. It’s as though journalists at the CBC don’t know what an election is.

    1. Well, had they said the same when Trudeau was elected, they would have been correct. It seems an odd observation regarding Boris’s solid win, however. In fact, the main observation should be that it was a solid win.

    1. That would be an example of the scientists being “unmuzzled”. I am assuming they were ordered to destroy the data and did not come up with the idea on their own. Totally inexcusable.

    2. Albertans/Westerners must be proud.

Big,tough-talking, patriot/pussycat Jason Kenney was all smiles after his girly gabfest with Canada’s Mistake.

Amazing what the promise of a few shekels does to a fellow’s principles.

Apparently their talks weren’t very complex and clues were found.
      https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/united-conservative-leader-criticized-after-calling-trudeau-empty-clueless

Even the pure laine Conservatives, who presumptively are only found out West, make emesis a Canadian Conservative habit.

Your disingenuous, hypocritical, lying, co-opted, dishonest, disgraceful politicians are just as disingenuous, hypocritical, lying, co-opted, dishonest, and disgraceful as ours out East.

      Count on it.

    1. Is ‘Blacklocks’ site behind a paywall?

There were some good partial articles…can’t believe Paul Hellyer is almost 100. Liked Nancy Greene Raine’s piece.

    2. Watcher, I agree that Blackrock news is a rarity in Ottawa: a news agency not on the take and an agency willing to undertake investigative reporting that the corrupt Ottawa press corps are too paid-off to touch. The people is, to read Blackrock’s reporting, one has to subscribe at $300+ a year. Too much for me. Am I wrong as to their pay wall?

  16. Whoever thought it was a good idea for 28 countries to give up their independence and put the goose-stepping square heads in charge. It was tried before, albeit unsuccessfully. Why wasn’t a trade deal simply enough.

  17. Today’s Scots used to be reliable, hard-left Labour voters in kilts. Now they support their hard-left SNP, as taxTAKERS much more similar to Quebec and the BQ than the hard working taxPAYERS of Alberta.

  18. True North News outs FAKE NEWS Global

according to an initial Global News report, Scheer was said to be facing allegations that Conservative party funds were going towards his children’s private school tuition. However, an official statement from the party’s Executive Director, Dustin van Vugt, states that Scheer was offered a reimbursement for moving and schooling costs.
    https://tnc.news/2019/12/12/andrew-scheer-resigns-as-conservative-leader/

My apologies for linking the FAKE NEWS GLOBAL article yesterday.

  19. Canadaland is very, very left wing, but here they expose the corporate sleaze at the Globe and Mail. Specifically, they detail the extensive lobbying effort to get mucho dinero from Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government:
    https://www.canadalandshow.com/what-the-globe-and-mail-wanted-from-justin-trudeau/

Worth a read. Naturally, the fact that the Globe and Mail endorses any and everything that is federal Liberal in Ottawa has nothing, absolutely NOTHING, to do with their lobbying effort to obtain mucho dinero from the Liberals. Nothing at all.

    1. I wonder if Brunswick News and their billionaire owners are getting subsidized?

It seems the brave, forthright Canadian Media is exceedingly reticent to volunteer they are now Government Media without a shred of credibility.

      Sadly t’was forever thus.

There is no coward like a Canadian Media coward.

We’re seeking input about the programming of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Société Radio-Canada (CBC/Radio-Canada) as part of the process to renew their broadcasting licences. CBC/Radio-Canada’s current licences will expire on August 31, 2020.

We want to make sure that the content produced and distributed by CBC/Radio-Canada reflects the diversity of Canada’s population, while meeting its needs in both official languages.

  21. When Canada was a developing nation and was ‘owned’ by HBC they (HBC) recruited Scots to work in the hinterland of the Athabasca and elsewhere in Rupertsland.

They preferred Orkney men – from the islands off northern Scotland. They were tough hardscrabble individuals who could last the full 5 years of isolation their contracts stipulated.

Many of those men renewed their contracts and stayed in Rupertsland taking ‘country wives’ (some even if they already had a wife back home) and having families with them.

The offspring of the union of a Scotsman and a native woman were called ‘breeds or half breeds’.

By contrast the offspring of a fwenchman and a native woman were, in the parlance of the time called mee-tis. This is a phonetic spelling of the way the word was pronounced. I have heard this pronunciation used occasionally to this day. I use it myself- it seems historically correct. If you read HBC records you will see the use of it.

The offspring of the fwench have had the good fortune to evolve into a separate ‘nation’ in Canada complete with rights….

    1. The Native women in this country were like wise (Greek) goddesses about everyday survival in this freezing country and they likely understood the laws against consanguinity for the sake of their very own survival.
(Besides, how could any redblooded woman resist these [likely handsome] ‘visiting’ men with interesting new ‘tools?’)

      https://www.etymonline.com/word/Metis

      Your words:
“The offspring of the fwench have had the good fortune to evolve into a separate ‘nation’ in Canada complete with rights….”

Yes, literacy helps. Remember that Henry VIII threw the (literate) priests out of England. They had to escape (to) ‘somewhere’. Some early ones were sadly burned at the stake. The Natives eventually got converted to religious beliefs of sorts. Liquor was their crutch. It still is and other things, to this day, unfortunately.

      1. The native gals had all the survival skills you allude to NR.

The Bay boys were not above resorting to the vernacular when describing the gals or being ribald.
Some had a ‘grading’ system they used on the tribes to rate them according to their girls…ahem…carnal knowledge.

Don’t flame me out over this – “read your history” as T1 advised us.

The ojibwa rated very favorably- apparently

          1. NR
I have read a lot of first hand history of the HBC by the people who were there.
Many of their outpost traders were quit literate and kept diaries or wrote accounts of their observations. Some of this stuff I researched at the HBC archives in Winnipeg.

Unfortunately I dont recall exactly who made comments on the ‘activities’ of the girls but it is out there.

I will look into your recommendation Mayflower. Thx

  22. With all the comments about the Scots that left to help explore Canada not too many people recognize that a BIGLY portion of ex-pats from Scotland went to America along with some Irish countrymen. As a group they became the Scots/Irish that pushed the frontier of western development in North America. Many had an interest in designing the American Constitution based on the Declaration of Arbroath. Perhaps as a result of how things went awry in Scotland and Ireland during the late1600 and early 1700’s these new Americans implemented the Second Amendment. Something to think about. As many have said earlier, the smart ones left when they could, what is left will be assimilated by the new European arrivals, mores the pity!

      1. Whata juxtaposition. The American Declaration of Independence to ‘cracker’ in 2 posts.

        You guys kill me haha

    1. Agreeing with Rex, just the same, people are glad Scheer is quitting as Leader of the Conservatives for these very reasons :

“There is something very not right about this whole operation. Something, if I may fall back on the precision of the Newfoundland vocabulary, something “very cute.” You do not position your party to be the ethical and pragmatic choice to replace the Trudeau Liberals by ruthless gamesmanship and insider manipulation.”

      https://nationalpost.com/opinion/rex-murphy-all-conservatives-deserved-a-say-in-scheers-fate-not-just-gta-activists?video_autoplay=true

      1. The CPC elites engineered the departure of Scheer. They were unhappy that Scheer won leadership of the party in the first place (they didn’t like Max either for that matter).

They made sure the little people – the ones that do the dirty volunteer work in the trenches and contribute in donations of $25 and $50 didn’t have a say in Sheers future. Too risky because if Scheer started to gain some traction by the time of the AGM – the grunts in the party might vote to keep him around.

This is politics on full display for all to see. A backroom knifing by party insiders.

This is why you probably aren’t going to get a westerner or anyone else as leader of the CPC that doesn’t measure up to the GTA version of what a conservative leader should look like going forward.

        1. Fixed it to my liking!

This is politics on full display for all to see. A backroom knifing by party insiders.(Who Control the CPC)

This is why you probably aren’t going to get a westerner or anyone else as leader of the CPC that doesn’t measure up to the GTA (Toronto is red please don’t include the rest of the GTA with Toronto for I live in the GTA and we are not Red Toronto) version of what a conservative leader should look like going forward.

          #Wexit

  23. Blackie’s media has started its campaign on who should replace Scheer. The CBC examined a list of “progressive” red Tories that could replace him. This includes the disgraced former leader of the Ontario Conservative Party, Patrick Brown. Brown would be excellent because he loves to prance in homosexual parades, and is a big believer in carbon taxes. The CBC also interviewed a female Conservative MP who stated that the party needs to get rid of Harper policies, stop worrying about deficits, and promote more social programs. You would almost think that the media planned all this and wants a leader that Blackie can easily defeat.

    1. I was quite surprised yesterday when the CBC seemed to discover that Conservative commenters actually exist. They are not routinely interviewed, but Scheer’s resignation forced the CBC to dig into their dusty files to find someone to comment. For example, I had not seen Tenyeke (Cory?) for a really long time. He is good. CBC’s views on who might replace Scheer are absolutely worthless. It is like asking an atheist who should be the new Pope.

  24. Maxime Bernier
    @MaximeBernier

Goldstein: “the prevailing wisdom from many of the high-profile Conservatives who stuck the knife in Scheer appears to be that if they want to win the next election, their new leader should be more like Trudeau and their party more like the Liberals.”

  26. Oh Nooo! The Big Chief Jody saga continues. Blackie’s CBC reports that Jody still refuses to leave her former cabinet office. The speaker of the house stated that he may have to send someone to remove her. Great CBC interviews of Liberal MPs trashing her.

  27. The Revenge of the Illusionists at the Whim of the Deluded

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

“Our impulses are being redirected. We are living in an artificially induced state of consciousness that resembles sleep… The poor and the underclass are growing. Racial justice and human rights are nonexistent. They have created a repressive society and we are their unwitting accomplices. Their intention to rule rests with the annihilation of consciousness. We have been lulled into a trance. They have made us indifferent to ourselves…, to others…, we are focused only on our own gain. Please understand they are safe as long as they are not discovered. That is their primary method of survival: To keep us asleep, keep us selfish, keep us sedated.”
    – “They Live” (1988), John Carpenter, Universal Pictures, Release date: November 4, 1988

John Carpenter’s cult classic film “They Live” foreshadowed our current time in so many ways. The story told of disguised freaks appearing human while consolidating control over the upper echelons of society. To do this, they lulled the masses to sleep via advertising and materialism. The electronic media acted as a hypnotist’s watch on lethargic plebeians as they were cajoled into a dreamlike state, treated like puppets, and surveilled – by flying drones no less.

Given our current circumstances today the movie would be considered non-fiction; except with the truth-tellers on the still-free internet acting as the good guy media hackers distributing the sunglasses in the film that allowed the freaks to be seen in all their loathsome hideousness.

In “They Live”, the media hackers and sunglasses allowed the public to see behind the curtain, so to speak, which is a phrase taken from another film, “The Wizard of Oz”. It was when Dorothy and friends could see the wizard after a curtain fell and revealing him to be just a man operating technological buttons, levers, and a microphone in order to cast illusions upon the inhabitants of Oz.
And here’s the point of these cinematic parables: The grotesque freaks from “They Live” and the wizard from the “Wizard of Oz” knew what they were doing as they purposefully deceived the citizens in their respective worlds; and the deceiving con artists did this so as to consolidate power and maintain control over whom they perceived to be dupes.

    Sound familiar?
