  1. He IDENTIFIES as a kid! That’s all that counts. What tipped off the bus driver, the guy’s after shave?

  2. As I understand it this is a prank that’s been done before. Might explain why the recording is PERFECTLY timed. Who knows?
    Funny though.

  3. he that dude from ‘Bad Santa’?
gawd, I hate to admit it but that’s one of the funniest flics Ive ever seen.
the premise . . . I wonder if any reprobates ever tried it.

anyways, nice to see the crowd reacted normally.
anybody punch the little shytstain after?
    what about the camera operator?
and is the EDITED version going to show up on some ‘outraged’ web site?

  4. Loved it! That reminds me of the kind of pranks the UBC Engineers used to pull off. This is second hand as I didn’t go there so it may be slightly off and it happened in the early seventies and my favourite was the year they salted the campus with cheap ugly gargoyles during the summer. Later during the term after the Artsies got used to them, they went on a rampage smashing them up and then sat back and harvested all the outrage from the poseurs decrying the loss of all that “art”. They waited for maximum effect before disclosing the source of all that “art”.

    1. It would have been early to mid 60s, my dad was studying Education at UBC at the time. A large number of concrete “impressionist statuary” appeared around campus. A couple of engineers wrote to the student newspaper about what an eyesore they were, and how a destruction party was planned. Sure enough, on the appointed day, a roving mass of engineering students with sledgehammers went around from “statue” to “statue” destroying them. The expected outrage ensued over this destruction of “art”. It was several weeks later that the engineers announced that they were perfectly proper in their destruction of the test castings they had made since they were the ones who had placed the results from concrete labs (civil engineers use a lot of concrete, so needed to know how to make and use it) all around the campus.

They wanted to see if the artsies would defend junk as art. Sure enough, they did.

    1. With the child’s toy coming crashing out first? Uh … yeah … totally bogus stunt.

I want to know where this was filmed … pretty ghetto.

  5. My son once told me he was a total ass and a bully on the bus until one day a bus driver sis this to him. He regarded it as a major life changing event as he stopped bullying other kids on the bus and never disrespected a grown man again. Still I am inclined to think this was a prank. The little person and the bus driver were both in on it.

  6. Not sure I would do that prank in some areas. What if a guy thought it was his kid who was getting roughed up by a big guy like that and was packing heat and decided to quickly take matters into his own hands. The bus driver might be sorry.

  7. Good thing there wasn’t a police officer uniformed or plain clothes nearby. It could have ended…differently.
