Conrad Black is appalled how the Left and its more centrist allies, for reasons of political advantage, have worked hard to marginalize and destroy Faith Goldy:

But there is also no excuse for such a vicious pile-on, either. Suddenly, her unsuitability as a commentator on any subject was one thing Ontario’s Jews and Muslims could agree upon. Defamatory nonsense abounded, such as that she referred to “the Jewish Question,” which she did, but as one idea put forth by the right-wing extremists at Charlottesville, that good people should feel secure enough to engage and prove wrong in the public square. She was pilloried and barred from mayoral debates as a purveyor of race hate. My erratic friend Michael Coren, who has turned the former grace of religious conversion into a revolving door, accused me of an almost sociopathic act in acknowledging Goldy as a cordial acquaintance. Why not throw her into Lake Ontario and see if she floats?

This entire process of demonization has been a disgrace. Toronto as it has evolved — diverse, rightly proud of its openness to all races and cultures, and religions — is burning a native Torontonian at the stake who seeks safer streets, less crime, and a recognition that the greatest problems lie in selected non-white areas, based not on stereotypes, but on incontestable statistics. The opposition of mud-slinging mythmakers, like those at the website Canadaland, is a badge of honour for Goldy. Despite her tactical errors, all polls show her running third, albeit distantly, behind Mayor Tory and former city planner Jennifer Keesmaat, and ahead of all 32 other candidates combined.

It comes to a point that I would vote for her simply because I hate those milksop politically correct socialists, their media sycophants and the whole old order Toronto elite and would love to see them fall. Bring on another Upper Canada rebellion against the family Compact that still runs Ontario.

    “Toronto as it has evolved” should be “devolved”, and its devolution (multi-culti, climate change, LGBTQWERTY etc) must be protected and promoted at all costs, which is precisely why Faith Goldy is being targeted. She questions it – and gives voice to a great many who do.

    Diversity (as with pretty much everything else) as promoted by the progressive left is a lie, meant do destroy the very foundations of this country. Its not evolution.

      The devolution of Toronto is because of its diversity (read: anti-white) culture and fermentation of its polyglot barrios.

      When Toronto thinks of diversity, what it means is that not only are all cultures but white accepted and encouraged but also all colors except white can carry illicit weapons.

  3. Toronto is NPC central. No one appears to have a single functioning brain cell in the entire place. Any politician not on the free-immigration/high taxes/public transit/gun banning band wagon is going to be smeared, pilloried, and possibly get beat up at public events. Probably one of the only things keeping Faith Goldy healthy is that she’s a cute girl.

  6. When The Rebel INSTANTLY cut all ties with Faith … they lost 70% of their credibility with me. The speed with which they disavowed Goldy … felt … like they had grown un-comf-ter-ble with her popularity. Can’t have her growing a fan base larger than the #1 spokesman

    They have’nt made a pile of woodcut about the stake yet you say? Gee what is slowing them down?

    We live in a veritable ocean of spin doctoring, mischaracterization, outright lies, and full on stupid from a variety of corners across the political spectrum; but the 3rd running candidate can’t even have a say.

    Well so much for the concept “free speech” even when it is offensive…which is when it is most needed.

    Maybe she needs to change her election signs to “Gaslighting Goldie”…!

  11. Maxine Waters could give her speech about ginning up crowds to run Republicans out of restaurants, gas stations, and public in general, make it about Faith Goldy, and it wouldn’t be any different with this Kanadian radical leftist lot.

    During the French Revolution when the mob’s targets were all eliminated, the guillotine was still thirsty and whom did it turn on next? When Fidel Castro won his revolution, he promptly turned on his own to squash “counter-revolutionaries”.

    When these radical left throwbacks are dragged out at dawn, blinking and bewildered, even then they won’t realize the whirlwind they’ve sown, and that the people that they thought they hated were the ones that would have stood up even for them like was done before.

  12. The opinions of what the left sees are the problems in having Faith Goldy as the Mayor, or as “running for Mayor” seem to blind them from what lies in any of the islamic texts, and call it for what it is.

    But their heads would all pop if they did. So they can’t.

    The hypocrisy of anyone calling this out, while ignoring or WORSE YET, defending those animals as the Liberal Gov’t does, is sick.

      1. Whether or not white people are better than others is debatable, but one thing for sure … White people have used their brains to a far greater degree than others. We created the modern world with all it’s technological wonders and conveniences and live saving stuff. We have, with the help of the capitalist system, lifted millions of all colors out of poverty. We have promoted peace, and vanquished horrible villains throughout history. We have been the kindest and most generous people that ever lived. However the ingrates of the world including the white-left are intent in enslaving us all and running the planet to it’s demise as a place for civilized humanity.

    But we really need to defeat the large city effect on a Provinces electorate, let us make them provinces in their own right,limited to the taxpayers inside their city limits.

Those that believe they can destroy the past are short timers… I don’t think that SC Niki Halley handled the Statue issues properly and would never vote for her in any capacity…..The Southern United States descendants are a derivative of the past and their ancestors died under the confederate battle flag… Robert E Lee was a Honorable General that defended the South…

    We have come a long way since those times, but General Patten (WWII) was also a descendant of those Southerners who gave their lives for America (He lost his great uncle @ Pickett’s charge) We are United as one, beware fools

    Jews? I think Lord Black means the pack of well-heeled Hellenists, apostates and communists who are only “Jewish” when they want to apply for an Israeli passport or accuse someone daring to expose their crimes of anti-Semitism.

    I would very much like an opinion on Faith from a Jew who devotes his time and money to building Israel, not an apostate who devotes his to destroying Canada.

  22. Never have I been as grateful for the secret ballot as I have in this Toronto mayoral campaign. Faith Goldy’s hope for success in this race must rely on those supporters who dare not speak her name in public lest they be ostracized. I am of an age that if I time traveler visited me in 1978 and told me that in 40 years, Toronto and London would have higher homicide rates than New York City, I would have thought it an indicator of civilizational collapse. John Tory has run the most dishonest and cowardly campaign that I have ever seen at the municipal level. John Tory refused to debate Jennifer Keesmaat on one on in the interest of democracy. It now turns out that one of the candidate’s at these events, Saron Gebresellassi, the darling of Now Magazine, received material support from John Tory. I cannot recall a Toronto municipal election in which the Toronto Star and Toronto Sun endorsed the same candidate even though there were plausible challengers. Finally, the website antihate.ca which has written about Faith Goldy has on its staff Evan Balgord a former special assistant to John Tory.

If she is obviously guilty of anything, I would choose bombast over alleged “white supremacy” which, along with the broader “racist”, is an over-used leftist bromide for not having to come up with actual arguments against those they disagree with. Tory is a centrist squish and Coren is a pompous authoritarian ass. I can’t picture her, as a journalist of sorts, being a good Mayor but hey, Ralph Klein was a reporter before he became the Mayor of Calgary.

  25. I saw Faith in a recent YiuTube video photo-bombing Hizzhonor John Tory, and she was funny and engaging. I hope she surprises the Toronto elite-establishment and records a high vote total.

    1. That is one reason why she was not allowed to participate or promote her views directly to the public. We knew she would lose, but this travesty of justice just leaves an unsavoury taste about the whole election. She was again and again portrayed as a white supremacist and never given an opportunity to counter that claim. I think she should sue someone. Bell Media would be a good start.

  26. She is so beautiful. I have always had a huge crush on her. Has anyone else noticed that on average conservative women are much, much more pretty, confident and attractive than liberal women? I am sure we all have. So, there has to be something biological/genetic/hormonal going on here and an interesting interphase between genetics, environment and brain chemistry etc.. High T men generally are more conservative as well. Are High E women also more conservative?

  27. Toronto’s municipal election is nothing more than a “show election” that the old Soviet Union would be proud of. Keesmat isn’t an actual candidate, she’s just playing her role as “opponent” to John Tory. Faith is the actual challenger, but she’s not approved by the Politburo so therefor she simply doesn’t exist.

    I fully expect live election reports tonight along the lines of:
    John Tory 38%
    Other 35%
    Jennifer Keesmat 27%

  28. It seems unlikely, given the number of Toronto’s “eminent persons” who have jumped on the John Tory bandwagon, that Ms Goldy will win the mayoral election, but it would be particularly sweet to see her out-poll urban-planning scold, Jennifer Keesmat.
